Because nothing uttered by a Muslim that has later come under scrutiny from non-Muslims has ever been taken in context. An update on this story. "Mosque show maker plans legal action," from The Guardian:
The documentary maker cleared by regulators of misleadingly editing a Channel 4 programme about extreme Islamic preachers is considering legal action.
David Henshaw, the managing director of Hardcash Productions which made the Dispatches film Undercover Mosque , said he was still "very, very angry".
With the backing of Channel 4 he hoped to launch a libel action against the West Midlands police and a Crown Prosecution Service lawyer who was quoted in a joint press release accusing Hardcash Productions of "completely distorting" what some of the preachers were saying. The media regulator dismissed the complaint saying it was a legitimate investigation.
"Hardcash's reputation has been severely damaged and it was a good reputation," Henshaw told the Guardian. "The Ofcom judgment is great. But damage was done that day in August, huge damage."
The programme, which took nine months to make, went undercover in several mosques in the Midlands and showed examples of preachers calling for homosexuals to be killed, espousing male supremacy, condemning non-Muslims and predicting jihad.
Henshaw said: "A lot of these mosques were apparently committed to inter-faith dialogue. Yet what was going on on a very regular basis was pretty uncompromising, hardline, anti-semitic, homophobic, misogynist preaching."
Well, at least it wasn't Islamophobic. That would be over the line, you see.

Henshaw's movie should be shown all over the Western world. And one would like American channels, in particular, to pay handsomely for the broadcast rights. One hopes he and his production company will profit and go on to make other indispensable films of this nature (along with whatever else they do) and also encourage others. Have such films appeared at any festival of documentaries anywhere, to date, in the Western world? We've had all the movies about the perfidy of America and the West. What about investigative journalism, captured on screen, about the least investigated, given the size and permanence of the threat, menace to our legal and political institutions since the Nazis appeared ready to take over Europe.
Has it been bought for broadcasting on television in the U.S.? In Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Korea? In India? Has it been shown in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden? What about Russia? Georgia, Armenia? No? Why not?
Is the problem of the mosques that present one face or facade to the Infidels, and meanwhile, for Muslims only, present inside the mosque, when Infidels are thought not to be present, quite another, merely a problem in one or two mosques in the Midlands of England? Or is it a problem with mosques all over the Infidel world, and do they all require constant monitoring in order to prevent them from being...true to themselves?
What do you think? An isolated problem, admittedly captured cleverly on film by Mr. Henshaw and his crew. Or a nearly-universal problem, one that needs to be brought through his film, so that Infidels can be warned, and others may be prompted to investigate mosques in their country or region, one hopes to be supported, and indeed encouraged by the security services, to do what so far the Western security services have been too timid to do: broadcast what is going on, filmed if possible, in the mosques and the Muslim bookstores and on the street, wherever there are Muslim populations gathered into communities in the Infidel, and still dangerously ignorant and unwary West.
Oh, after making sure the film is run and re-run on the BBC -- that's the least its Board of Governors can do, given the BBC's hideous coverage of Islam and the Middle East -- why not a showing in Parliament? A knighthood for Henshaw, for Services Rendered? The sky's the limit, or should be.
Just as the Moslems have two hands: one for eating, and one for wiping; so they have two faces: one for telling the truth, to be used when speaking to fellow-Moslems, and one for telling falsehoods, to be used when speaking to infidels.
How distorted can "distorted" get? Once you go down the slipper slope of calling everything "out of context" or distorted, reasonable truth becomes impossible. But that's the idea, isn't it? In Islamic invert logic, nothing makes sense; not the real world, not the truth, not anything said in or out of context, but only the word, the word of Mohammed, his ill begotten Koran, its hadithic extensions, its medieval Sharia rulings; where everything is contorted to fit into the Islamic belief system not based on reality but based on the mad words of an insane primitive of the 7th century. Go and fit that square peg into a round hole. No wonder everything is always "out of context", since the context makes no sense to start with! It's all superstitious warlord nonsense, so there is never any connect with reality.
That's why you cannot reasonably argue with Islam, because they can't hear it. For them, EVERYTHING is "out of context" if it doesn't agree with their primitive logic of a 7th century mad warlord, who happened to like little girls and raping the wives of fallen warriors, or ordering the killings and beheadings of his captives. There is NO LOGICAL reasoning with Islam. It is what it is, a totally distorted vision of reality.
Sue the pants off those lackey Midlands police officers, since they think all the homophobic, misogynist, anti-semitic, anti-infidel, pro-jihad imam's preachings were obviously "taken out of context". Let's put it back into context with a court ruling showing they're way off in their reasoning, and that teaching hate is the same in any context. It's about time to stop this Islam madness, and put them in their place.

It is hard to resist unholy laughter at the expense of the WMP and CPS, who have managed to push Undercover Mosque into the news headlines.
The news headlines are where it should always have been, but the original broadcast was missed by many people and its aftermath was completely over-shadowed by the wretched, ugly, and morally vacant Big Brother row.
The WMP and CPS intended it for evil, but the Lord turned it to good, or something like that.

Sheikyermami - all other Australians here - we have got to write to ALL our broadcasters and say how much we want to see this film (and if death threats or other threats, or bribes and blandishments are made, to try to prevent a broadcast, tell them to show it and be damned, and be sure to broadcast, at the same time, precisely who made the threats, and what those threats consisted in).
