Sam Harris has begun a noble new initiative:
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is the most prominent advocate of free speech and women's rights in the Muslim world, and for this she must live under perpetual armed guard, even in the West. Unfortunately, on October 1st of this year, the Dutch government officially rescinded its promise to protect her. Now, Ayaan Hirsi Ali's friends, colleagues and admirers must come to her aid.I have created a page on my website that links directly to the Ayaan Hirsi Ali Security Trust. The money raised by this trust will pay Ayaan Hirsi Ali's security expenses. In the event that money remains after these costs have been met, it will be used to encourage and protect other dissidents in the Muslim world.
The ongoing protection of Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a moral obligation. It is also a strategic one: for here is a woman doing work that most of us cannot do--indeed, would be terrified to do if given the chance--and yet this work is essential for preserving the freedoms we take for granted in the West.
If every reader of this email simply pledged ten dollars a month to protect Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the costs of her security would be covered for as long as the threat to her life remains.

Spread the word, Sam. In God's misterious ways, you may be the tool God uses to open the eyes of blind atheists who are paranoid about "Christian fundamentalists installing a theocracy" in the USA, but seem totally blind to the danger of islamic theology.

Nothing wrong with valuing peace. But a "Christian peace" is what we need. Recent history shows that secular atheism is a vacuum that islam fills quite readily.

Also, if anyone has ever read "The end of faith" Sam Harris makes it very clear that Islam is a far greater danger to our freedoms than christianity is.
True, he doesn't let christianity off the hook, but he DOES know that Islam is the greater evil.

Children, children. She is completely free to live fully protected in the Netherlands. It is a total myth and distortion to suggest otherwise. This option has been given her and she refused it. (Ditto, btw, in Denmark.) She has chosen to live in the USA. She has chosen to do the work she does, and for that work, she has accumulated sizable wealth. In truth, she, like Madonna, is fully capable of paying for her own guards. It is time for her to do what she demands of others: grow up, take responsibility for herself, and become independent. Only then will she really be "free."

Believe what you like, but...wouldn't it be nice to have a Muslim Joan of Arc turn up? Especially one who can't be silenced or killed? It's a powerful idea.

Surrounded by a sea of muslims, they never had a chance. Violence wins out. So they fled. Europe, on the other hand, has no where to flee to, it has tried the secular way, and it is the furthest along the way to becoming muslim. Wherever human secularism is dominant, islam makes inroads. That is because human secularism, atheism and liberalism are a package deal in the west. The muslims exploit that trifecta perfectly. Take a look at the universities, they are at the forefront of secularism, and we don't have to discuss the dhimmi state of universities.
I can tell you, Europe is on its way, New York, California and Minnesota in the US, will go first, and the last place to go will be the Bible belt. And for obvious reason. Once you take out the Christianity from a Christian nation, it creates a vacuum that islam will fill. It is happening now. The atheists, not even realizing it in their shortsightedness and hatred for Christianity, are inadvertently making preparations for the complete subjugation of the West by islam. An enemy of an enemy is once again the dynamic at play.
It wasn't the atheists that fought the crusades.
