NEW YORK - The U.S. military plans to seek a criminal case in an Iraqi court against an award-winning Associated Press photographer but is refusing to disclose what evidence or accusations would be presented.
An AP attorney on Monday strongly protested the decision, calling the U.S. military plans a "sham of due process." The journalist, Bilal Hussein, has already been imprisoned without charges for more than 19 months.
A public affairs officer notified the AP on Sunday that the military intends to submit a written complaint against Hussein that would bring the case into the Iraqi justice system as early as Nov. 29. Under Iraqi codes, an investigative magistrate will decide whether there are grounds to try Hussein, 36, who was seized in the western Iraqi city of Ramadi on April 12, 2006.
Most of the rest of the story involves the AP pleading Hussein's case: After all, no one has ever heard of such a thing as a crooked journalist.
Who will arrest Charles Enderlin, or Orla Guerin, for their crimes, in supporting and more than supporting, the PLO and the "Palestinians" and the Muslim Arabs and all Muslims who take Islam fully to heart, who have been conducting the Lesser Jihad against Israel, which is only a preliminary etape -- possibly even to be skipped over -- in what has now become, due not to a change in ideology but an enlargement of means, the Greater Jihad.
Yes, I'd like to see Charles Enderlin arrested, and hauled away by the defense-du-territoire boys, and charged with treason to the Bilad al-kufr, the Lands of the Infidels, among which of course, thank god, is still France.
That would cheer us all up.

Reminds me of 'green helmet man' and that other non-existent faux 'reporter' (wasn't it 'Jamil Hussain?) who kept doctoring the news until it became to bleeding obvious, but AP never really retracted, or did they? Scandalous, shameless and treasonous.

Back when we got the official Iraq news from Iraq Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf ("Baghdad Bob"), we at least knew the source was biased and that nobody would take him seriously.
Sadly, I have little faith in our justice system to prosecute Islamists who engage in criminal activity. Our justice system seems much better at bleeding the life out of innocent Americans who are the victims of Islamist legal jihad. Even though CAIR and its ilk lose most of its lawsuits against the weak and defenseless, they do succeed in bleeding their victims dry personally and financially, with the willing participation of the justice system that does not immediately throw out such frivolous cases. So even when CAIR loses, it wins, because CAIR has Gulf State Wahhabi money and most of its victims do not.

JALPAIGURI: A 36-year-old man who married his teenage daughter, apparently after convincing his wife that he was carrying out divine instructions, kept the event under wraps for more than six months. Until, his 15-year-old daughter began showing signs of pregnancy.
Villagers of Kasiajhora found out about Afazuddin Ali's wedding when one of them found the girl showing pregnancy's swelling signs.
The sordid drama of what happened, however, unfolded on Monday when Ali was produced in court. When Ali, a daily labourer who has three daughters and two sons moved to marry his eldest girl child, his wife naturally was aghast and protested madly. To placate Sakina, he told her he was only carrying out Allah's instructions and the family would be rewarded. The poor, illiterate woman saw no reason to doubt her husband's heinous act.
"He is a religious person and will never lie taking Allah's name," she said on Monday. It still wasn't clear whether the 'wedding' was conducted by a qazi who had been paid off. The family had kept the unholy wedlock under wraps until the girl's pregnancy became obvious.
They tried to prevent her from leaving home during the day, but after all she was just another 15 year old. A few days back, a village woman saw her and the news spread like wildfire. Soon there were mobs knocking on Ali's doors.
On Sunday, when Ali was finally confronted, he confessed. But cops arrived just in time to avoid the mobs unleashing their fury on him.
Ali, who looked nervous when police brought him to the court, was seen strutting around after being released. "I haven't done anything wrong. Isn't it clear from the judgment?" he said. Yet, he decided it wouldn't be prudent to return to his village.
Carrying out Allah's instructions - indeed !!
