You do remember the 'green eyed' monster? Probably the beast that visited Mohammad in the cave on Mt Hira. Mohammad was jealous, green with envy. 'He' wanted, fame, power, riches and women, and was jealous of those already in possession of these things. Islam is his response to getting the things 'HE' wanted. Depending on which resources one utilizes to determine Gaza population, this 200,000 to 300,000 turnout represents between 15% and 30% of the ENTIRE population of Gaza!
Some sources place the population as low as 1,000,000, and others as high as 1,500,000, with a couple typical Muslim/Islamic sites wildly inflating the population beyond all sane reckoning in the the exact manner Muslims do in America and Canada -- (read: C.A.I.R., ISNA, MAS, etc.). So THIS is the "tiny minority of extremists"? One must also infer that turning out between 1 in 7 and 1 in 3 citizens in any polity is staggering, and represents an overwhelming political support, or else an overwhelming fear of not showing up. I think with most Muslim cultures and societies it's a bit of both -- rabid support of Islam and abject fear of Islam. This schizoid and insane support for Islam at the same time its terror tenets are fears is a result of the terror axiomatic with Islam, which enforces the fiercest strictures on Muslims criticizing its hideousness, including maiming, ostracism, and death (often in that order...).
So much for "tiny minority of extremists". The only satisfaction I foresee in the ongoing and increasing ferocity of Islamic Jihad is the idea that all of Islam's apologists and abettors in the West are having a harder and harder time promoting their revolting whitewash. As Islam shows its filth head increasingly across the globe, as Muslims simply act as Muslims do and always have, it's impossible to conceal its ugliness -- that goes for 1/3 of the entire Gaza population showing up in support of genocide, or the strangulation of little girls by their pious Muslim fathers in Canada.
These Muslims own the entire disgusting legacy of Islam. Islam is them, and they are Islam. The hideousness of Islam belongs to the Muslims and their apologists for all time -- when the truth of this comes out finally, after much more suffering on our part because of Islam and Muslims -- how treasonous will it be then to know that our former Presidents accepted tens of millions of dollars from Islam's foreign agencies? How treasonous will it appear that the NYT, and most of the left leaning media in the United States and Europe constantly attempted to conceal Islam's threat, and to whitewash Islam's slimy bloody visage? Islam is gore. Islam is hatred sacralized. Islam is evil incarnate. Yet our Presidents, our ambassadors, our businessmen, our professors, and our media were happy for a time to lap up the cash from outstretched Muslim claws while imbibing the poisons on them too on the unasked for behalf of us all. Betrayals of historic proportions, all of it.

This rally of little green rabid men reminds me of the movie I went to see last night entitled: I Am Legend; and seeing this mob of blood thirsty Muslims reminds me of the blood thirsty flesh eaters featured in the film. Truth really IS stranger than fiction.

About as treasonous as Walter Duranty's reporting on the Soviet Union in the 1930s. It will be received with a shrug and a Pulitzer.
You rightly point to the 15 percent or more who appeared at that rally, an indicator that far more people are pro-jihad than the apologists and dhimmis of the West will admit. (A tiny minority of those who agree with a particular viewpoint are actually seen protesting.)
The problem is that for every purveyor of jihad, the media can find two or more Ayaan Hirsi Alis or really "peaceful" Muslims, who are peaceful because they don't know what's in the Quran and can be considered MINO (Muslim in name only). For every Robert Spencer, the media will find two Ibrahim Hoopers.
People here will point to the one third and the media will point to the remaining two thirds. Those who don't want to face facts will side with the two thirds. Two against one. They can't lose.
To Bush, Condi Olmert, this rally of 200,000 for Hamas in Gaza, did not happen. Why should they care? It is the ordinary Kaffur who voted them in, who are the target of these blood-thirsty savages, not Bush / Condi / Olmert or their families. Why whould Bush / Condi / Olmert care?
Any palestinian throng always reminds me of the buzzing hive of nuts who dumped Arafat's AIDS infested corpse in that hole in Ramallah. What a picture of inflamed barbarians.

Isn't this the irony of it all? How the MSM gives the spin it does to hide the madness. Give Israel! Give up land, give up this and that! So glad Condi is there to carry the palestinians' torch.
Would that some leading pol in the presidential race would call a spade a spade with the palestinians. Is there a single candidate who calls for cutting off all dealings with terrorists? Oh yeah, they all do--they just don't call the palestinians terrorists, uhuh.
Want to know why Gaza is such a mess? Check out those pictures-not one single palestinian is out there doing any meaningful work. This is why I come down so hard on these ultimate losers-they have plenty of time going to these stupid rallies (in between killings of Jews of course) but they have no time to build something decent for themselves there. They expect the West to GIVE them everything they want. Screw them and those idiots who try to give them what they want-may they all rot in hell.
I'll bet that not one of them will make the effort to pick up the mess they made. Can anyone see a Garbage can in any of the Photo's? I can't.

This is the difference between Hamas and Fatah. These two say more or less the same thing except Hamas is just much more honest about it, whereas Fatah will say the same thing through a roundabout way.
This whole incident is really just business as usual in the Middle East.
By the way, on that snapshot of the news article, it says on the right hand side of the page "Article Tools sponsored by THE SAVAGES". Does this mean Hamas sponsors the Article Tools?
I just now realized that muslims are very much like dogs. Evryone knows that a dog will eat it's own vomit. It will become sick and keep coming back for more. muslims are like this. They will hide and lick themselves while sending their own children to die while committing murder. Then they will blame the jews. muslims eat their own propaganda vomit over and over.
What is that old saying, "You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time. But you can't fool all the people all the time."? Or something like that. Anyway, Hamas is living a politician's wet dream. Even if some of the people aren't fooled, they stay quiet. Talk about indoctrination skills. In D&D parlance that would be Indoctrination +10. Reminds me of another old adage: "Like lambs to the slaughter."
