Andy Bostom has a blog...

...doodah, doodah. Andrew Bostom, editor of the admirable collection The Legacy of Jihad and the forthcoming The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism, has started a blog. And, true to Andy's shy, retiring nature, the very first entry is fatwa-worthy. Mabruk, Andy!

Link not working. Can't get to the Blog

I don't know if it's just a server problem or if maybe Mr. Bostom is undergoing a DNS attack, but it's impossible to connect to his site. I've tried repeatedly over the last ten minutes to connect and just get the "unable to connect" response from my Firefox browser. No problems connecting elsewhere.

Paste this link in browser.
The blog link in side bar works.

I'll check back later, the links on the blog itself are not working.

Same thing here.

My server is Yahoo!

I can get to the front page but expanding page and commenting not available.

Link not working. I suspect that the jooooooz hacked Andy's blog.

I can get to the introduction of Dr. Bostom's first blog post with comments via page dedicated to his upcoming book "The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism" by following the link in the left sidebar for the blog . . .but if I try to read the entire essay, I get a server error.

WorksForMe :)

Congratulations, have added the RSS feed to Firefox to keep track of new posts.

I'm anxious to read the fatwa-worthy first entry.
I'll keep checking until the links are working -- bugs are to be expected. Congratulations Dr Bostom, I wish you well. From what I've learned of your work so far, you are a voice of reason, sorely needed.

Sorry folks -- I didn't imagine that Andrew's blog would overload my server so I am looking into a replacement for tomorrow.

Fatwa-worthy indeed. Meshugga? Moe PBUH?

If his first posting is any indicator of things to come, Andy Bostom and his blog may soon be fatwa-generating, never mind fatwa-worthy.

The first thing you see is Moe Howard ( the mean stooge) in a turban and beard with the standard PBUH. A bit of good natured humor ridiculing Mo right off the bat. This is followed by a thorough deconstruction of the myth of tolerant Islam as a refuge for the Jews from the midieval Christians. This will be an excellent site.

Peace Be Upon all the Stooges, especially Curly.
