Dutch-language article, "Kerstversiering Brussels Justitiepaleis verwijderd voor moslims," here (thanks to Rudi). Here is my own rough translation of the Babel Fish mess. Corrections welcome:
Christmas decorations have been removed from two offices at the entrance of the Brussels Court of Justice a few hours after they were installed. "We took them away so as not to scandalize anybody. We have to be neutral for the Muslims..."
Christmas decorations have been removed from two offices at the entrance of the Brussels Court of Justice a few hours after they were installed. "We took them away so as not to scandalize anybody. We have to be neutral for our Muslim masters..."
Fixed that.
They should come visit my office, we have Christmas decorations everywhere and the owner of our company is a Jew. Everybody is encouraged to decorate ones office (kinda like a scene out of the movie Office Space) but normally I kinda laugh it off and think oh geez but now I think to myself at least I can still do these types of things in my own country for the time being.
What about the statue of the naked Justitia? Has she got a burka on?
Someone needs to clue in the Brussels Court of Justice. There is no neutral in islam. Its more like: Either you is with us or agin' us.
Stinkyinfidel, give thanks that your office isn't under the auspices of master dhimmi freddy thielemans and his mahometan-majority municipal council. I'm surprised people entering the Brussels Courts aren't required to remove their shoes, kiss the floor, and recite the shehada upon entering. Oh wait, that doesn't start until NEXT Christmas.
The only thing worse than these dhimmis obeying the demands of Muslims is when they do these things when Muslims havent complained.
Kind of hard to believe this is the same Belgium, the same Europe where six million Jews were liquidated. IIRC Belgium had a higher percentage of Jews liquidated than most other European nations. Now this same nation can't wait to placate Muslims. Even before Muslims ask to be placated, as in this case
The same nation that ruled the Congo via blood, now cringes in front of foreign occupiers who carve out their own Sharia neighborhoods
"The only thing worse than these dhimmis obeying the demands of Muslims is when they do these things when Muslims havent complained."
That's the point here isn't it. Over and above the Muslim fanatic problem.
Has any Muslim complained, or any Muslim worth listening too?
Not only are their own moderates quiet, but they're never consulted either.
It's white fanatics half the time, lift wing grovelers, dressed in the cloak of equality, while holding the working classes in contempt.
Time to wake up now.
When I hear stories like these, I often wonder to myself if the decision-maker is actually a mischievous anti-dhimmi who is deliberately trying to elicit an outraged response from the media and general public.
But no: I suspect this is such another example of dhimmitudinous dimwittedness.
..funny they didn;t have to be neutral for JEws
/judenhass, alive and well in the EU
Assalamau Laikum all,
I am not that bothered about tinsel and decor on trees.
It's only the signs that should change to say ....
HAPPY ISAMUS
I'm half tempted to convert to islam, pay a visit to some of these idiots, and then shriek "Islamophobia!" at every chance I get.
See how far I can push it.
I'd be offended by Christmas decorations, alcohol, homosexuals (get them out of my sight!), Jews (hmmmmmm, maybe that's pushing it for the moment), anything to do with Israel, pork, no shaking hands with a woman, everyone in any room I was in would have to be quiet anytime I felt like praying....Oh, the fun you could have with these dhimmis.
Ahoy there, Belgium! Your plan not to scandalize anybody failed completely because I am totally scandalized -- and disgusted -- by this foolishness. Put those Christmas decorations right back up to avoid any further scandalization.
Thank heaven my ancestors departed that benighted country about 130 years ago.
This is for you, Naseem you ingorant :
Return 1-10 of 6,840,000 for
"what did the muslims blow up today ?"
Source? This is a search return on Yahoo.com
That is: Six million, eight hundred forty thousand hits for "what did the muslims blow up today?"
You should be very proud to be affiliated with such a dangerous cult.
/by the way? I think you are a man.
Bah humbug akbar? Obviously the dhimmies at the Brussels Court of Justice need a visit by the ghost of christmas past to tell them that doing these things just speads up a dhimmies "neutralisation".
Merry Tossmas!

Here“s for a new line: Cultural suicide by islamization!
Isabella,
I loved it. Ill have to send to all my friends and family. Merry Tossmas :-)
Thanks Elric,
Here's a song we'll soon be singing if we don't do something about this now.
Non-Christmas
I'm dreaming of a non-Christmas,
Unlike the ones I used to know,
Where the Muslims bicker,
And dhimmis dicker,
To jetison the culture we all know,
ooh,ooh,ooh!
I'm dreaming of a non-Christmas,
With every jizya check I write,
May your days be bleak & full of spite,
And may your non-Christmas be as dark as night.
I'm dreaming of a non-Christmas,
No lights, no gifts, no love, no pie,
Where the malls are 'splodin',
And the teens reloadin',
To kill folks and have us all ask, "Why?"
I'm dreaming of a non-Christmas,
So Christ will disappear from sight,
May we all be sorrowful and contrite, and
May we not give up Christmas without a fight.
Amen to that Isabella.
O'Reilly thinks he won the war on Christmas. What an ego. He helped stemmed the tide but thats it.
Isabella,
Tossmas!
Good one.
What is so ridiculous about volunteering to NOT celebrate Christmas, is that Quran records that Jesus was born (and actually spoke from the cradle). So Christmas shouldn't be offensive to Muslims.
On the other hand, the Quran is quite adamant that Jesus didn't die on the cross. But, then, that leads to another holiday.
Hey guys,
Merry Tossmas came from my niece so I can't take credit. I can however take credit for this idea...when wishing another a Merry Christmas, if they become offended, I offer them the second choice of "Fuck You" if the first is unnaceptable. So far everybody is fine with Merry Christmas.
Then the muslims should do the same - take off their scarves, turbins and anything else because their stuff offends others too. But, are the intolerant ones doing the same in consideration of other's sensitivities? I doubt it. In fact, these dhimmi probably don't even ask because of their fear of muslims.
Chris,
Muslims also believe Jesus will come back, break the cross and lead the war against the kaffirs. Now talk about offensive.
Catchy tune, Isabella--and a Joyless Non-Christmas, too; Eid al-FITR to yoU.
Dear Robert,
I think you mistranslated at least part of the quote above. I think it should read as follows:
"We have to be neutered for the Muslims..."
Contumeliously,
JSLA
Back in the 1930's Stalin's USSR had something called the League of the Militant Godless. As the name indicates its members went about stealing from and smashing churches all over the country. It appears the West is on its way to having such a league nowadays-at least when it comes to non-Islamaniacs. First they remove all religious symbols. When will the smashing begin? The Koranists look at all this with amusement, because they benefit from infidels doing this to other infidels. They know that like in Stalin's USSR there will ultimately be room for just one "religion" to exist. And like Stalin they know who the winner will be.
"Eid al-FITR to yoU."
John C, that's the meanest thing anybody's ever said to me.
"The Koranists look at all this with amusement."
I think that is what irritates me the most. These people don't create anything on their own, except misery; like Hugh says, they are wealthy because of a geological accident, and for them to plan my future life and that of my fellow citizens sticks in my craw in a way you don;t want to know about. Who do these people with the sub-average I.Q.s think they are? I can only describe how I feel about this as fury and I have no intention of letting them get away with it.
I noticed this year that there was some sort of a Christmas backlash. It may be the commercial variety but that's okay. We have not replaced the national holiday of Christmas with a national holiday celebrating the end of Ramadan. (Be on the lookout for that one next year, and be prepared to just say NO.) I noticed Christmas songs on the radio about two weeks before Thanksgiving this year and Christmas trees and wreaths up about a week or so before then. I saw Christmas lights start to go up before Halloween, not the orange ones but the white ones. It's as if people are saying, enough, you want to complain about what is precious to us, we'll fling it right back into your face, a month early to boot.
I think spreading what we've learned here has had a definite effect on people becoming aware and starting to wake up. Now we just have to decide what we want to allow in our countries and band together to make it stick. Eid-al-fitr celebrates, what, some battle where afterwards Mohammad murdered his captives? In no way am I willing to have it honored on the same level as the day that Our Savior was born. 'Sorry if that's not PC enough for people. I couldn't care less.
Isabella,
Merry Tossmas!
Merry Christmas, too!
I'm so much in agreement with your post of 10:13 pm, I'm sorely tempted to go to my 24-hour CVS store and buy a ton of lights for my house. I love Christmas, but I've never bothered with lights before.
You're right. Our right to decorate for our holidays, OUR holidays--It's starting to look like "use 'em or lose 'em"!
An early Merry Christmas, to all!
Cindy
from the story, "We took them away so as not to scandalize anybody. We have to be neutral for the Muslims"
so before these hypersenesititive muslims came they didn't worry about jews, hindus, buddhists, athiests, or any other religious minority. they only care about the feelings of these poor muslims who have to look at these christmas decorations. these dhimmmi politicians should all be thrown out of office.
Dear Miss Cindy,
Absolutely, girl, go get those lights! And get yourself a big gingerbread latte while you are at it. I normally have tons of lights but the house I'm living in now has no outside outlets. So this year we put the little candle lights in every window. My daughter said it was dumb to put one on the main level in the living room window which faces the backyard because no one would see it because the fence hides it. Not true, I told her. It's important to light that candle because some of the neighbors can see it and some of them get up very early to go to work. I think it gives them a warm fuzzy to see that light still lit at 5:00am and reminds people that the true meaning of Christmas is the Light coming into the world. The Muslims want to put it out but as millions of Christians and other freedom loving folk stood up against Muslim take overs in the past, it's our turn now. And honestly, who cares if Muslims are offended by it? They can kiss my butt.
I'm temporarily living in a place so I can be close and help out my parents who are elderly. But when I move again, I guarantee my place will look like the Griswolds in that movie, Christmas Vacation!
one more thing, I haven't met anyone who doesn't like to hear Merry Christmas. I remember Christmas Eve two years ago when I had to run out and get something for big dinner because they didn't have it the night before. Everyone at the market was happy and cheerful and wishing each other well. A big truck driving in front of the store stopped and let me go by and when I wished the driver a Merry Christmas, he wished me one right back, and it was magical. Those words actually have the power to change the day.
Merry Christmas to you, too! Happy light filled Crusade!
Merry Christmas all.
Wonderful post Isabella; may the candle shine bright in your living room window every Christmas.
Personally, I reckon we should remove Muslims out of respect for Christmas.
And they've won, Damn you all.
You dedicated this entire thread to their take on Christmas.
Don't you see what they have done?
You don't!
Then let me tell you!
You have allowed them to so undermine our understanding of ourselves and our culture that all you can see when Mr. Spencer posts a perfectly innocent piece about 'dhimmitude' in Europe is an opportunity to carol the same old refrains about muslim domination.
There is only one answer that needs to be posted on this thread,
Only two words that need to be said:
MERRY CHRISTMAS
To dignify this thread with any other words than those, as I - to my shame - have just done is silly and inconsequential.
What we need now is for the next umpteen posts to contain no other words than "Merry Christmas" - thousands of times over!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
MERRY MERRY MERRY, the MERRIEST CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL.
Thank you Isabella! That is great!!
bah humbug to you know who...
CAIR Canada has always denied that a Sharia law Somali website reflected the true Islam when it warn Muslims during the Advant to NOT say Merry Christmas based on it being offensive to Muhammad and Islam.
BUT.... below is an exact reflection of Islams hatred for Pluralis by the mere fact that CAIR is very subte to make Muslims infer that "Season Greetings" is the Taqiyyah scam to fool Christians into believing that Muslims are JUST LIKE every other faith and they have no problem with 'Merry Christmas'.
Except that CAIR's own web posting is void of condoning the use of CHRIST by saying Merry CHRISTmas , and good luck trying to get away with saying to Muslims during Ranadan ' Seasons greetings' and Happy Fasting .
The ACLU and Fibrihim Hooper would Sue the School Boards and Governments by Financial-Jihad
to force sensitivity training to learn about the Quran and Muhammad while endorsing a Ramadan campaign in Public Places and every School and Office that gets Tax dollars.
I'm officially sick of these career
whiners and Victims now that Canada ahs a Hijab death not by an "Islamophobe" attacking her in the School , but by her own Father and now her own Brother that tried to cover it up to protect the male parent who appears to have the RIGHT to enforce Islams death penalty in canada.
The overt denial and paranoia by Muslims should be a wake-up call for canada to follow Holland's Immigrant-Video for Muslims to understand what Canadians won't tolerate under a Judeo/Christian set of Moral codes that created the Laws we non-Muslims see as improving Human Rights for everyone , this is why canada doesn't hang Homosexually in Public, execute females on our Soccer fields , behead sinners in public , flog young girls that are accused of causing theirown rape and causing Good Muslim males to sin , fire bombing minority book stores , kill authors that insult or offend a Faith , ban females from driving cars , and on and on .
What I find very telling about this "Alledged" killing is that the story has become all about the attack on Islam or the hurt feeling of Muslims who no fear Backlash from this Domestic issue by a dad who was pushed too far.
Here's a thought.... maybe the man was so consumed with the life of Muhammad that he was brainwashed into seeing Females as Chattle while also knowing that Muhammad raped Aisha which Muslim now blame on Allah , plus Muhammed beheaded about 600 civilians after a bogus Peace-Pact to have them disarm as to be easier to slaughter.
GEE....maybe islam does have a link to this .

CAIR-CAN Wishes Canadians a Happy Holiday Season
Tuesday, December 11, 2007 9:20 am
- For Immediate Release -
(Ottawa, Canada - December 11, 2007) - Eid Mubarak, Happy Hannukah and Merry Christmas! The Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CAN) extends its warmest greetings to the Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities in Canada and Season's Greetings to all Canadians.
"Muslims, Christians and Jews share a common heritage through Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) and the holiday season serves to reinforce the idea that we are more similar than different in the common values we hold dear," said CAIR-CAN Chairman Abdul-Basit Khan.
This year the holiday season will coincide with the Hajj pilgrimage and the Muslim celebration of Eid al-Adha. This celebration marks the occasion where, according to Muslim tradition, Prophet Abraham, the common forefather of all three great monotheistic faiths, was asked by God to sacrifice his son as a sign of his commitment to God.
"We urge Muslims across Canada to reach out to their neighbours, co-workers and employees and build new friendships," said Faisal Kutty, CAIR-CAN Vice-Chair.
On October 13, 2007, 138 Muslim scholars from across the globe signed on to "A Common Word Between Us and You", a statement of shared values between Islam and Christianity. It is in this spirit that CAIR-CAN wishes to extend holiday greetings to all Canadians.

I always love the way Isabella minces her words!
You Go, Girl.
Stupid Brussels. And to think Brussels Sprouts are my favorite vegetable.
I must switch to Broccoli, forthwith.
Isabella,
I meant to ackowledge that I understood your point, besides making a lame attempt at humor. The insult was a mock jibe, picking up on your way to deal with those, like pious Muslims, who will not make or return holiday greetings.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, and to all a good day.
John C,
I love ya' honey. I knew that's what you meant. I couldn't resist a chance to pull your chain. ; )
Now this is silly - even many Muslims love Christmas. No wonder really what would you rather do with your kids?
a) Drink mulled wine, eat mince pies and exchange presents or ...
b) slit the throats of thousands of innocent animals whilst crying "Allahu Akbar!"
I know which one I would prefer if I was Allah!
"Personally, I reckon we should remove Muslims out of respect for Christmas."
Oh-my-gosh, LOL!!!
That's what the Christian knights were trying to do for ages and like Baron Bodissey says over at Gates of Vienna, we are in a new phase of a very old war.
Can I tell you guys something I found out this week that I thought was personally very exciting? Last week Robert posted an article about Muslims getting the drizzles because of the existence of the Order of Malta embassy in Cairo. http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/019066.php#comments
Well, Justamomof4 posted an interesting article about the Grand Master of the Knights of Malta, Jean Parisot de la Vallette. He was in charge of the Island of Malta when Suleman tried to take the Mediterranean in 1565, and he withstood and also aggressively went after the Muslims, destroying 3/4 of their army, holding out with 700 knights for 30 days until an army from Sicily came to assist him. This guy had it going on!! Read about it here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=466818&in_page_id=1770&in_page_id=1770&expand=true#StartComments
Well, when I read the name Vallette I recognized that as a variation of my grandmother's maiden name and shot off an e-mail to my dad (who has charted our family's genealogy back to Roman times) to see if we were related. Sure enough, Jean Paristo de la Vallette is an ancestor and I am thrilled to death that his blood runs through my veins.
And Miss Darcy, thanks for the comment about not mincing words, but sometimes I think it is a very bad habit of mine. I am definitely guilty of that. I really need to watch it with the F-word but I'll tell you why I sometimes believe it is correct to use it. There are people out there who like to stop Christians in their tracks by saying something vulgar or shocking as a vehicle to end a discussion. They believe that Christians will be so shocked and dismayed that they can win their point by making Christians run and hide. Well if I'm not skittish around that word then the argument goes on. If they see I will not bend or break because a vulgarity was slung in my direction and if I pick it up and sling it right back, then we don't get bogged down in stupid stuff that changes the subject.
This is not a ladylike war and it is important not to faint in the wake of Muslim Jihadi atrocities. But I do apologize to all my friends here for throwing that word around a little too often and for making some folks feel icky. I am sorry.
"...We have to be neutral for the Muslims..."
NOT, "We have to be neutral for EVERYBODY." But specifically for the muzzies.
A slip of the tongue, or a revelation of unrepentant, unabashed gov't acquiesence?
I seriously doubt that the action was taken "out of respect" for muslims. I truly believe it was "out of FEAR" of muslim reactions.
stupid people, really just stupid.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.
Something about the Siege of Malta that I find telling, is that Jean de la Valette and his Knights were outnumbered 40 to 1, and still held their ground--putting the lie to Muhammad, who promised his warriors that if their deen was strong, then their 20 could rout 100, and so on.
I read that the Turks put fanatic berserkers in the front ranks to spark terror among their enemy--thus, they were the first to be cut down. Way to go, Strugglers for Allah!--let's go mano-a-mano, shall we? Wanna dance, devilish dervishes?
"This celebration marks the occasion where, according to Muslim tradition, Prophet Abraham, the common forefather of all three great monotheistic faiths, was asked by God to sacrifice his son as a sign of his commitment to God."
Speaking of mincing words, every Bible I've ever seen says that son was Isaac, not Ishmael.
Isabella,
I just got my lights, but it's raining, and I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to put them up.
I get a huge kick out of your posts, girl! Keep on keepin' on!
Merry Christmas. I am thankful that I can remember when Christmas was Christmas, not some vague "holiday". How this world has changed in 50 years.
"And Miss Darcy, thanks for the comment about not mincing words, but sometimes I think it is a very bad habit of mine." --IsabellatheCrusader
No way, Ancestress of Jean Paristo de la Vallette. YOU GO, GIRL!
Muslims hate Christmas, not the birth of Jesus, they "say" they are OK with that.
What they really really hate is Easter(and not because of Pagan eggs) but because of the cross.
I say display the cross where and when ever you can.
+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +
the UK is now a the property of the EU. how did a once proud nation become a bunch of losers?
the labour party are traitors. we need to have a coup and imprison them all.
From the CAIR announcement quoted above:
This one gets me going. His son...what's his name now? Oh yes, Ishmael, that's it. Not the God of "Abraham Isaac and Jacob" ... the God of "Abraham and Ishmael". A simple error in fact? I'm afraid not. Just as Isaac is the father of the Jewish nation, and Jacob's other name is "Israel", Ishmael, the son of Sarah's maidservant, is understood, especially by Arabs, as being the forefather of the Arab nation.
This little bit of historical (or mythological if that's where you're coming from) revisionism is courtesy of Mohammed's racial supremacist bent. He could not bring himself to allow the forebear of the Jews AFTER the place where the Arabs branched off to be the principal figure in such a pivotal story. Thus, the old switcheroo...Isaac becomes Ishmael in the Islamic version. Not only that, they put the story at the center of the Hajj. No Hajj is any good without a full retelling of the tale of Abraham almost sacrificing his son ISHMAEL.
Theft of birthright and about a dozen other cultural crimes. I'm not of Jewish ancestry myself but I cannot believe the unmitigated gall and the pure pettiness involved. There was nothing for Mohammed to gain, REALLY...it was just a good way to permanently diss an entire nation. It's right up there with the Al Aqsa Mosque.
Darcy & Cindy,
Thank you girls. You make me feel so good. : )
Archidemes2 - the Ishmael/Isaac switch is a strategy similar to that of the parenting strategy of the Cuckoo.
As our gal Isabella said:
......millions of Christians and other freedom loving folk stood up against Muslim take overs in the past, it's our turn now.
How true. Let us all take up the mantle and not be left behind.
" We have to be neutral for the Muslims..."
...no you don't....

Thanks for that video, Isabella! I'm now recharged about how to address all those 'Holiday' catalogs I've hated! I can now celebrate Happy TossMas!
I dressed in my Hannukah colors (for my Jewish friends) last week, and now I'm totally decked out in red & green this week. This is great!
Merry Christmas!!!!

Miss Cindy,
Did you get your lights up? I have no room to talk. I usually have the tree up and decorated by Thanksgiving weekend. It didn't get decorated until yesterday, after being up in my living room for almost a week with nothing on it and after rolling around in my car for four days because I couldn't get it out by myself. I just haven't had a several-hour-period this week until yesterday to do it. It takes strategic planning to make it look good, ya' know!
All the best to you and all here; Merry Christmas and God bless us, everyone.
