SMITHFIELD, N.C. -- Hundreds of Muslim families don't have a place to perform a religious ceremony to start the three-day Islamic holiday, Eid al-Adha.A Johnston County judge refused Tuesday to lift a ban on a farmer hosting a mass slaughter of lambs on Wednesday, the first day of a holiday also known as the Festival of Sacrifice.
Judge Tom Lock barred the slaughter at a farm owned by Eddie Rowe at the request of state agriculture officials, who said the farm does not have proper sanitary facilities.

This must have just totally ruined their pagan holiday. How unfair that these barbarians were deprived of their requisite blood sacrifice and the immense pleasure they derive from watching a helpless creature slowly bleed to death. I can't believe Mr. Eddie Rowe offered to provide a venue for this primitive ritual but I guess some people will do anything for money. He should be ashamed of himself. Gotta hand it the Judge, who very clearly stated that STATE laws must be complied with. The zombies just haven't figured out yet that, unlike there fake Sha'ria laws, the United States is governed by rational laws and decisions.
I guess CAIR and all their ilk don't know how to navigate the complexities of the United States Code (USC), the Federal Register, State regulations, plus municipal codes.

I dunno. I have Christian friends who dress their own deer every November--although such animals were dispatched with bullets or arrows at a distance rather than knives to the throats. Much as I believe that Jesus Christ put an end to any need for further animal (or human, for that matter) sacrifice, I really can't begrudge my Muslim neighbors a little back yard butchery as long as it's four-legged sheep and goats that they're slaughtering and not humans.
