Jamal al Dura is the father of Mohammed Al Dura. They were, according to legend, caught in a crossfire in 2000, and Mohammed was killed by Israeli bullets -- touching off a bloody series of attacks on Israeli civilians by Palestinian jihadists. But it has become increasingly clear that the whole thing was stage-managed by the Palestinian propaganda machine, and here is more proof.
"Wounds of Mohamed al Dura's Father Date Back to 1992, Surgeon Reveals," by Nidra Poller at PJM:
The wounds purportedly sustained on September 30 2000 by Jamal al Dura “target of gunfire from the Israeli positions”—in the words of France 2 bureau chief Charles Enderlin—were in fact incurred in 1992. Jamal, identified as the father of the shahid [martyr] Mohamed al Dura, is one of the two living witnesses to the incident that triggered the “Al Aqsa Intifada.” The al Dura news report has been the subject of controversy for seven years.Philippe Karsenty, who is appealing his 2006 defamation conviction—for declaring on his Media-Ratings site that the al Dura news report was a blatant fake—obtained medical records proving that Jamal’s wounds were treated by an Israeli surgeon in 1994. Now the surgeon, Yehuda David, has confirmed this information on a December 12 newscast on Israel’s Arutz 10 TV. Jean Tsadik of Metula News Agency resumed the Hebrew-language newscast for French-speaking readers.
According to the Metula release, Jamal al Dura declared on medical records in 1992 that Palestinian militia had attacked him with axes. Doctors at Gaza’s Shifa Hospital* were able to save his life but he lost the use of his right hand because they could not repair a ruptured tendon in the forearm. Palestinian doctors referred Jamal to Tal Hashomer hospital in Tel Aviv in March 1994. Dr. Yehuda performed reconstructive surgery, grafting a tendon taken from the foot, and restoring almost normal use of the hand. The medical record of that operation also refers to the removal of “foreign bodies,” suggesting that other instruments besides axes were used in the 1992 attack.
Alerted by the Ména [Metula News Agency] to the film of Jamal’s wounds produced in 2004 by Talal Abu Rahma at the demand of France 2 news director Arlette Chabot, to silence investigators, Dr. Yehuda and his colleagues declare that the scars shown in that film were incurred in 1992 and result from axe blade wounds and definitely not from gunshot. They are ready and willing to testify to this in any court.
The Metula release promises further revelations in the near future.
Once again we see Muslims reaping the benefits of the superior Judeo-CHristian culture.
Thank the God of Israel for using this Jewish doctor to heal the body of this Muslim.
Only God knows how many Muslim lives were saved at the hands of Jewish doctors.
kol hakavod [congratulations!!] to the Metulla News Agency [Mena] & Jean Tsadik, to Philippe Karsenty, and to Nidra Poller.
This highly sophisticated form of surgery using a tendon transplant was actually invented by Muslim doctors during the Andalusian Golden Age.

Arabs, not only the locals but Arabs from all over the Middle East, come to Israel, one learns, for medical care. The Arabs in Israel receive, often for free, from such hospitals as Hadassah care imcomparably better than what they could get elsewhere.
This is not a story in Israel, because it is simply taken for granted. And it is not a story outside of Israel, because the Israelis are not good at maing such things heard. But what BBC reporter or bureau chief, for the BBC will report on the free or almost free care lavished by Jewish doctors on those Arabs who fill the charity wards of the Jewish hospitals of Israel? One of the main reasons that the Arabs of parts of Jerusalem that the Olmert regime plans to surrender oppose that plan is that they fear losing that free and excellent medical care supplied by the Israelis.
But who in the outside world knows that the "Nazi" Israelis, instead of setting up Auschwitzes, treat -- every day -- with a level of care that rivals the best in the West -- the very Arabs who have no difficulty in wishing, many of them, in demonizing Israel, even if their own experience tells them it is all nonsense and lies? What is one's own experience, the evidence of one's own senses, for those brainwashed in hate, a hate that comes from the atmospherics of hate, that Muslim Arab societies, suffering almost universally from thieving rulers (whether it is the Al-Saud skimming a trillion off the top, or Mubarak with his Family-and-Friends plan, taking more modest sums, tens of millions, and that not from the national wealth, but rather from the foreign aid that, it might be argued, the scheming Egyptian rulers deserve for playing the role that they do, in order to keep that (chiefly) American aid, clownish "journalists" who are merely spaniels of the regime, and whose stock in trade is whipping up, in every conceivable way, hatred for Israel, the ""journalists" (see MEMRI, see MEMRI for all kinds of transcripts, and tapes of those "Arab journalists" and the hate Arabs all over the place? ones Simon Wilson, who has now brought his anti-Israel sneers to Harvard classes as a Nieman Fellow, or the three whose bias and behavior became too extreme, was attracting too much attention, even for the BBC. So the most egregious cases have been moved. Orla Guerin, married to a "Palestinian" Arab, now reporting, with less chance to indulge in her anti-Israel viciousness, though one may be sure there will be no reports from Orla Guerin about the growing Muslim threat in Capetown, the Muslim boycotts of Jewish businesses, for , and the local muftis with their fatwas, and the campaigns of Da'wa, and all the rest of it.Barbara Plett (the one who wept, on the air, when Arafat died), has been moved to Pakistan (or is it Afghanistan?). The hard-voiced Lyse Doucet has been moved to Afghanistan (or is it Pakistan?). And the BBC Bureau Chief, fresh-faced Simon Wilson, this year one of two dozen enjoying a Niemann Fellowship at Harvard, is limited to injecting his anti-Israel venom into class discussions. No doubt the BBC’s Jerusalem bureau was left in reliably anti-Israel, pro-“Palestinian” hands. class , are blocked at almost every turn (what Western journalist reports about this? Did Lyse Doucet, did Orla Guerin, did Barbara Plett, in all their thousands of hours of reporting, ever mention the spectacular medical care that Israeli doctors provide – often free – to “Palestinian” as to other Arabs? No? Why not? Isn’t that quite a story, especially all those Arabs who show up with difficult cases from Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, even the Gulf states? When one of those Israeli doctors, who spent much of his time treating Arab patients, was murdered by Arab (“Palestinian”) terrorists, why did the BBC not cover it, and in covering it, at least give those outside Israel a little glimpse into what actually goes on?
Are we to believe that Orla Guerin, Barbara Plett, Lyse Doucet, and Simon Wilson never had to go to doctor, never visited an Israeli hospital, never noticed the Arab charity patients filling the waiting rooms, waiting to be offered a level of medical care equal to the best that the richest Arab oil sheiks can obtain? Isn’t that a story?
Of course it isn’t. It doesn’t fit the script. The Israelis are "Nazis" in the official Arab script. And as even the Arabs are dimly aware that the real Nazis -- the ones they so admired and to so many of whom they gave not only refuge to but important positions after the war -- did not offer free and excellent medical care to the Jews of Europe, and so this little story has to be not only not reported on, but kept quiet, if possible not mentioned at all.
It doesn't fit. It is news that doesn't fit. Not on the BBC. Not in Le Monde. Not in The Guardian.
Not, for that matter, even in The Bandar Beacon (with its nauseating and absurd missing-the-point sob story about how the bad Israelis prevent little "Palestinian" deaf children from getting those batteries that will allow them to hear -- as if such batteries, and a lot more besides, are not incorporated into that weaponry that the "Palestinians" have no difficulty spending tens of millions of dollars on, or that batteries, along with all the explosives, might easily have been brought in from Gaza, or as if the billions siphoned away from Infidel aid, by the various "Palestinian" warlords -- Slow and Fast Jihadists -- for their own purposes, could not also have bought, along with those villas in the south of France, and college tuition in the West for those warlords' children, a few batteries for those "deaf children" who, the vicious reporter viciously reports, and in turn that report is viciously carried by The Bandar Beacon (or "Washington Post"), owe their current state to those wicked Israelis, the same Israelis who spend a fortune every year on the medical care supplied to Arabs not only in Israel, but from all over the Middle East.
Absurd and disgusting. But not, at this point, surprising. Nothing, at this point, surprises.
No one asks about the Boy. Where is he if he is still alive? Do they have him hidden or did they kill him (dead boys tell no tales). Produce the boy, end of story...
Surely the "Palestinians" have gotten rid of the boy by now. And the father, if still alive, probably won't be around much longerIndividuals are always expendable for the cause of Islam. Pregnant Irish girls getting on planes unknowingly carrying bombs that their Arab fiances gave the, mentally-ill Arab children with bombs strapped to them, Arab girls who, to remove some stain on their family's honor agree to become martyrs, and of course the run-of-the-mill fanatics, churned out by Islam and brainwashed to sacrficie themselves -- these are all expendable for the sake of The Cause, the Cause of Islam. Why shouldn't the Al-Duras, father and son, be expendable?
I wonder if the common everyday arab stops to think about who is dying for the cause , the reports are severly onesided against the common arab, come one you wealthy arabs send your little mo or naseems to do the dirty work for a change.
Re: Mohammed Al Dura's father was treated in 1994 for wounds he claimed to receive from Israeli bullets in 2000
Deception. This is the stuff of Fibrahimpoopaganda-style liars. It's loathsome. It's very destructive to the mind of the deciever. But equally loathsome and often more destructive are the minds of those (Denish, Armstrong, Harpozito, etc.) who do not speak up on this. Dietrich Bonhoeffer once wrote he thought God hates such people. We must learn to speak the truth.
This is Harpozito at the Istanbull conference doing what he does when faced with Islam's mandates-permissions to deception. The job pays well....

I think you are right Hugh. The boy was just a sacrificial lamb, to keep him alive would be a threat to discovery. Can't have that, Mohammad Al Dura, must be silenced...forever...Anything for Allah, Anything...
. . . Palestinian militia had attacked him with axes.
........

This story just keeps getting worse and worse. So Jamal al-Dura's original wounds were caused by *Palestinian* forces, yet it was Israeli doctors who saved his hand.
Then, to show his gratitude to Israel, Jamal al-Dura helps stage the bogus death of his own little boy, which, in large part, serves as flash point for the murderous Second Intefada, which has led to the deaths of over 1,000 Israelis.
In addition, the al-Dura case has served as an international shorthand reference for supposed Israeli brutality.
I do wonder where the boy is. I have long assumed that he was sent to live with another relative, and is now going by a different name. Certainly, I hope it is nothing worse.
No wait! This was just an I.B.S., (Innocent Bureaucratic Snafu), ala Clinton........
Quickly! This Islamophobic surgeon, Yehuda David, must be arrested immediately before he is allowed to describe what actually happened. These are state secrets, and must not be released to the public. Otherwise there may be a horrible backlash against the Muslims when we find out how many times we've been lied to.
So, either this doctor is the world's biggest bonehead, who stood by silently as the Al Dura Passion Play was presented to the world, leading to the deaths of many, or the doctor told his story at the time, and the media didn't think it was relevant or worth printing. I wonder which one it was?
I seem to remember an old 'Palestinian' a few years ago who's life was saved at an Israeli hospital and came back as an attempted suicide bomber. Anybody remember this? It made the MSM even.
How many damned times do infidels need to be informed that whenever you aid an Islamaniac the thank you nine times out of ten is a knife in the back? 1400 years of history prove this yet this insanity persists. We are our own worst enemies by helping our enemies to destroy us on so many levels.
The mills of G-d grind slowly, but they grind exceeding small.
Where's 13martyrs when we want to hear the other side?
sarc off
Someone has to answer for that fraud.
The price was too high. There were too many casualties and the cost of that fraud was too much.
For once I am glad that I am not a doctor and that I have not had CPR training.
"Pelayo, why did you not perform CPR on Ahmed; you let him die?"
"Lawdy Mistah, I doesn't know nothin' 'bout see pea are."
When will the media and every good-minded politician see that the Palestinians, and the Arabs generally, just lie to serve their purpose? And then the Western media sucks it all up propounding their lies which has a debilitating multiplier effect on Israel and the West. These liars sure have a good service being done for them by the self-hating Western media.
As Churchill said, or so to paraphrase, a lie will travel 20 times around the world before truth has had a chance to put its pants on.
poetcomic1, the story you are referring to is an arab girl who was burnt in an accident. she was treated in an isreali hospital with plastic surgery, so that she could jhave bettert life. she was returning to that hospital for a follow up visit when she was held up at the border for suspecious behavior. she then attempted to blow herself up with bomb hidden innher pants but it wouldn't go off, she became hystrical that it wouldn't go off. the bobm was removed and blown up. this is how these muslim repay any act of kindness by the infidals. yet the isrealis treat these murderious muslim traitors fully believing that they will be loved by them. bush thinks the same way in iraq and afghanistan.
Thanks desidude - I'd forgotten it was a young girl.
I was conflating two different stories. I remember another account of an old West Bank woman who was treated for free in Israel, her life saved and according to the young Israeli doctor- as she left she spit at and cursed everyone. 'Filthy Jews!'
France 2, the TV station that originally broadcast it was ordered by the French court to produce the uncut, unedited version of the Al Dura incident.
It returned to court with yet another edited version.
Once again it was ordered to produce the original filming.
At that point the story died.
What has happened since then?
J'Accuse! This smells amazingly like the Dreyfus case

.................
Yes, as Desidude recalls, this was a young girl, Wafa al-Birii.
She suffered terrible burns when a faulty gas cooker exploded as she was making dinner one night. After receiving substandard care at a Palestinian clinic, an Israeli hospital agreed to treat her infected wounds, saving her life. Her parents were moved enough to write the Jewish staff of the burn ward thanking them for their “great efforts and wonderful, warm attitude."
Sadly, after she returned home, she was rejected by her fiance, who had no interest in marrying such a badly scarred woman.
Wafa then decided to return to the israeli hospital that had saved her life--using her special Humanitarian pass, yet--to kill her own doctor and his staff. Luckily she was stopped at a checkpoint and her bomb failed to explode when she tried to detonate it.
No good deed goes unpunished.
