NEW DELHI, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- India says rebels conspired to trigger serial bomb blasts in four crowded areas in Mumbai, including the historic Gateway of India.
Five suspected militants arrested in connection with recent blasts in Uttar Pradesh state wanted to carry out simultaneous explosions in Mumbai, an Interior Ministry official said. He said the suspects told their interrogators that Bangladesh-based Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami, which India views as a terrorist organization, was planning to carry out the blasts. The suspects were arrested in connection with the Nov. 23 serial blasts in Lucknow, Faizabad and Varanasi.
Gateway of India, the suburb of Andheri, Oberoi Hotel and Navi Mumbai were places where these suspected terrorists already carried out dry runs, the official said.
Yes, everybody misunderstands certain concepts.
Firstly Allah, for misunderstanding that Muhammed was highly literate and good enough to receive his revelations.
Secondly Muhammed, who gave the misunderstandable to a more misunderstanding people.
Thirdly, jihadists who misunderstand the meanings of the words peace and war and probably think Muhammed meant them to be the same as violence.
Fourthly the moderates who think that kafirs have misunderstood islam and make an linguistic bending and manoeuvring adventure and give far fetched reasoning to prove their point.
Fifthly, the victims of islam who misunderstand that they are the victims of law-and-order-problems, rather than islam.
Sixth - the authors who criticise islam, only to realise later that they have misunderstood islam.
Seventh - the politicians - who always want to misunderstand everything.
Lastly, the worst misunderstanders - the INDIANS -who have misunderstood a thousand years of utter carnage as the benign workings of a peaceful religion.
Lucky that some people like Hugh, Spencer, Ali Sina, Ibn Warraq, Taslima Nasreen etc., are understanding and making understand.
