"The leaders that give Bush swords and scimitars and gifts worth a million dollars should have thought of the heavy consequences of their anti-Iranian conduct." Watch out, Bahrain!
"Iran: Leader warns gulf countries against supporting Bush," from AKI (thanks to Insubria):
Tehran, 15 Jan. (AKI) - Jomhouri Eslami, the newspaper founded by Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has warned countries in the Persian Gulf against supporting US President George W. Bush.An unsigned editorial, that many attribute to the Iranian leader, takes aim at the gulf emirates accusing them of having given "a warm welcome" to the American president.
"The emirs of the gulf should not underestimate our warnings, " the editorial said. "Supporting George Bush means playing with fire."
"You must value responsibily the interests of the Islamic Republic. It can cost our neighbors very dearly."
"The leaders that give Bush swords and scimitars and gifts worth a million dollars should have thought of the heavy consequences of their anti-Iranian conduct."
"Supporting George Bush means playing with fire."
And funding, arming and killing non-Muslims worldwide is not playing with fire?
"The leaders that give Bush swords and scimitars and gifts worth a million dollars should have thought of the heavy consequences of their anti-Iranian conduct."
Seems like we've got at least one Arab state on our side against the Iranians. Well, at least according to the Iranians. If they're saying this then it has to be true!
In the above, it meant to say "funding and arming Islamists who kill non-Muslims worldwide...." etc.
Uh oh!
The Head Witch Doctor is squealing, again, like a stuck pig. Maybe he's just jealous he didn't one of them fancy scimitars.
Let me help clarify a few points about his mutterings:
1. "Interests of the Islamic Republic" = The right to kill everyone else.
2. "Anti-Iranian Conduct" = Any action to prevent Item 1.
Hey, sink back into your hole, shut up, and read a nice book. Perhaps the Holy Bible?
Muslims are hypocrites. Watch this excellent Danish documentary about the cartoon crisis:

"You must value responsibily the interests of the Islamic Republic. It can cost our neighbors very dearly."
This is the very reason why the leaders give Bush swords and scimitars and gifts worth a million dollars
Signs of discord within the ummah? One Muslim group threatening violence against another Muslim group?
Say it ain't so, Joe.

Iran should like Bush. He's torquing Israel to appease the Muslims, and his overtures to the Sunni states indicate he has no intention of using unilateral military force against Iran, so Iran need not fear any military force. He also has overthrown their enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan. Well, he does say Iran is a threat. How rude of him.
The symbolism of the swords and scimitars. Classic Arab War Toys.
Is there an open fissure here in the house's of Islam?
