There's a cartridge "with your name on it" and a bullet with your picture on it. That's a new twist on an old saying.

Plus, it's .22 caliber. That's kind of goofy considering their troops, er believers, prefer AKs. Not to mention, it's not really the right cal to instill fear in the hearts of infidels. Maybe they see themselves as Mafia hit men.

Then there is the shock hazard symbol. Maybe they're planning a taser attack instead of a dirty bomb attack. A new non-lethal jihad? Probably not.

I checked out the voice of jihad website and all I can say is, what a bunch of sickos. The individuals who are responsible for this propaganda are truly repulsive. The jihadists never fail to amaze me with the vile sickness oozing from their brain and into cyberspace. This kind of crap needs to be seen by John Q. Public so that the threats made by these foul people can be taken seriously, before it's too late. Truly amazing!

Maybe this goes along with Achmedinijad's promise recently that he will show the West the full extent of his nuke program within four weeks, or promises to that effect.

As good a place as any to bring up an observation (no claim to originality) of the ubiquitous use of the index finger by the lecturing/threatening jihadi / imams etc.

Haid, allow me to translate. This has to do with the fact that one of the promises Mohammad made to jihadists when they get to paradise is that those who make it up there will be allowed to drink. It is also an illusion to Mohammad Atta and his gang, who went to a lap-dancing bar in Vero Beach, FL (infidel land) and imbibed the night before he flew is plane into one of the towers. Although I must admit, if I wasn't allowed to drink on this earth and finally got an opportunity to do so, the last thing I would have would be a glass of bitters. I'd go for a beer!

NEIN first learned of this alleged jihadi threat/ post several days ago from the owner of a politcal forum who had the threat posted on her forum. It is one of dozens collected for the period of POTUS M.E. trip.

Upon notification of the post, and taking no chances, it went 'up the chain' immediately.

I did note in my commo to others about this threat that if POTUS were to take a side trip from landfall in Sharm el-Shiek a simple side trip to St. Catherine's Monastery at Mt. Sinai - where the "burning bush" or a relative thereof is said to exist within this "church"... it is a possibility such as AQ decap strike might have been planned in advance for this site.

Here's hoping that earlier press reports of POTUS going to Sharm el-Shiek on his OSINT itinerary are incorrect and that he is going land in Cairo instead. Just in case since Sinai is an
active AQ terrorism zone. I know this from commo with CA ANG unit stationed in Sinai last year.

Trust me when I say this old.grimm, no OPSEC problem exists from what I wrote in the comments above on 15 Jan.

The specific we received on this same threat went 'up the chain' within minutes of our receipt of it at 12 noon on 11 Jan. Nothing pretentious in acknowledging what we knew four days prior to this making news on the 15th. I'll be quiet from now on so as not to upset your sensibilities.
