Right. Bush dropped that off on the way to his whirlwind Mideast tour. "Serbia court tries 15 on ‘terrorism’ charges," from Agence France-Presse:
BELGRADE - A court in Belgrade heard prosecutors accuse 15 suspected radical Islamists of running training camps and plotting assassinations inside the country, Beta news agency reported Monday.
‘The defendants organised a criminal group in order to jeopardize the security of Serbia by planning attacks against police and murders,’ deputy prosecutor Jovica Jovanovic said in his opening remarks, Beta reported.
The defendants face charges of terrorism and illegal possession of arms.
All but two defendants, believed to be followers of the radical Wahhabite sect of Islam, were arrested last year near Novi Pazar, the main town in the southern Sandzak region, which has a large Muslim population.
Prosecutors say they had set up secret camps in the region for terrorist and military training.
They also alleged that the defendants had planned both an attack against a police station in Novi Pazar and the murder of Muarem Zukorlic, a local mufti, or Muslim cleric.
Gee, they should know better than to misunderstand their religion like that.
Jovanovic said the group had close ties with fellow Islamists in neighbouring countries and several other countries.
The indictment alleged the group had asked their commanders in Bosnia, Saudi Arabia and Austria for approval to kill Zukorlic—and had eventually decided to do so, Beta reported.
No attempt on Zukorlic’s life took place before the arrest of the suspects.
Jovanovic said that in a search of defendant Mehmedin Koljsi’s computer, police had found maps of Belgrade and photographs of several buildings in the capital including a hotel, a theatre and the US embassy.
At the end of the prosecution’s opening remarks, the first defendant, Senad Ramovic, pleaded not guilty, state-run Tanjug news agency reported.
Ramovic said the indictment was ‘based on hate towards Islam and Muslims,’ adding that it looked like ‘it was written by (US President George W.) Bush or CIA agent Zukorlic,’ the mufti named as a target in the indictment.
Other defendants are expected to enter their plea in the coming days.
Wahhabis are followers of a fundamentalist movement in Sunni Islam as practised in Saudi Arabia, who insist that their beliefs are those of the first three generations of Muslims.
Although local media reports say that their presence has increased in the Balkans in recent years, experts believe that they are still marginal.
The authorities have blamed the radicalisation of Sandzak, whose 420,000 population is 45 percent Muslim, on tensions between two of the region’s rival political parties.
"....photographs of several buildings in the capital including a hotel, a theatre ...."
....typically the preferred targets of Radical Muslim terrorists....soft targets filled with ordinary people, ordinary innocent people, ordinary unarmed innocent people....
....The radical Muslims are forcing people to think about fighting back...
"Ramovic said the indictment was ‘based on hate towards Islam and Muslims,’ adding that it looked like ‘it was written by (US President George W.) Bush or CIA agent Zukorlic,’ the mufti named as a target in the indictment."
...obviously a misinformed bunch of whackos...they must have missed BUsh's recent praises of Islam and his support for Saudi Arabian and the Palestinians in Gaza.....Bush actually likes them...
Considering Serbia's treatment of the muslim Kosovars (even though they did not kill nearly as many as was alleged) and support for Bosnian Serb attacks against Bosnian muslims, it's no surprise that these misunderstanders went after Serbia. It just took them long enough.
Ramovic said the indictment was ‘based on hate towards Islam and Muslims,’ adding that it looked like ‘it was written by (US President George W.) Bush or CIA agent Zukorlic,’ the mufti named as a target in the indictment.
... obviously from the repeated use of the word 'strategery.'
Balkans jihadis are quiet only because they still expect western support in Bosnia and Kosovo. But, they are the same as all jihadis:

They also alleged that the defendants had planned both an attack against a police station in Novi Pazar and the murder of Muarem Zukorlic, a local mufti, or Muslim cleric.
Okay, so they were going to kill a Muslim cleric, which only shows the elasticity of Islamic strictures against murder. What happened to killing a Muslim being tantamount to killing all of humanity?
But what was the reason for attacking the police station? Target practice? An opportunity for terrorism trainees from the region to test their skills?
Even if the Western world cannot realize what folly it was to regard Serbia as an enemy, and even if it fails to listen to those who, like the Canadian General Mackenzie, can report not the standard line but the truth about the Balkans, and even if it still does not understand the fear that Izetbegovic created in Serbs by his publicized plan to institute the Shari'a -- no one who does not know the history of Ottoman rule in the Balkans, no one who is unfamiliar, for example, with the institution of the "devshirme" -- can conceivably understand what it is that the Serbs feared, a fear that permitted someone like Milosevic to retain power even when he should, and normally would, have been jettisoned by the Serbs in whose name he presumed to rule, even if none of that happens, the West by now should understand that the destruction of the ancient churches and monasteries by the Muslims in the Balkans, the Arab presence (men and money), in the Balkans, the likelihood that a Kosovo ripped out of the heart of Serbia will lead to still more pogroms against the remaining Serbs, and will furthermore encourage in Serbia, which has come to its senses in every respect, a less-attractive form of resentment and irrendentism, should lead the West to hesitate in "recognizing" an "independent Kosovo." "Independnent" of what? Of Serbia, yes. But of Islam? And what is the likelihood that increasing the size of Muslim-ruled territories in Europe will make things better for non-Muslims in Europe? Very likely? No change? Or very unlikely?
Finally, there is the question of Russia. It is now an unpleasnat place (see Kovalyov on Putin). But it is also a place where otherwise intelligent people have been led, wrongly, to believe that the West, and especially the United States, have been actively plotting to diminish Russian power. That is nonsense. The correct charge to be made is that the American government has been paying not too much but insufficient attention to Russia, in its crazed focus on Tarbaby Iraq, and on "good government" in Iraq as a "remedy" for the ills that come, not from an absence of good government, but from a presence of Islam.
By promoting independence for Kosovo, the Americans infuriate the Russian government -- and many Russians -- who still think of themselves as defenders of the South Slavs, as in the 1870s, with the Bulgarian revolt against their Muslim, Ottoman overlords, and the Serbs too. What better way to remove an unnecessary source of Russian resentment than to give them what they want on the question of Serbia -- and furthermore, to make clear to the Russians that they, too, have an internal Islamic threat that they must deal with, and we understand.
So, while we can continue to find appalling their mistreatment of Orthodox Georgia (it is absurd that at the Pirosmani, a Georigan restaurant in Moscow, one cannot order Georgian wine for the Russians have banned its import to damage the Georgian economy), when it comes to the Muslim-dominated territories, something like the old anti-Islam campaigns of Soviet yore, are not to be deplored but encouraged.
And after all, the Russians have a stake in disarray and disorder in the Arab oil states -- it can only work to make their own oil more valuable. So they, and we, have a joint interest in dividing, demoralizing, and putting into disarray that Arab and Muslim world. And a good way to start to show that, on the part of the West, would be by leaving Serbia alone, with Kosovo, to deal with as intelligently as it can.
"But what was the reason for attacking the police station?"
The same reason as they did it in Kosovo:
1. attack Serbian police station
2. police will strike back, as every police in the world
3. accuse Serbs of "ethnic cleansing" and "genocide"
4. wait for the West to bomb Serbia and create new jihadi state there
Muslims as a whole are 100% unable to comprehend that most people in the world believe that killing without violent provocation and for any other reason besides self-defense constitutes CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR requiring prompt and severe punishment.
This is because the Kuran teaches first degree murder and Muslims are brainwashed into accepting murder as a standard practice by their mosques that have been holding them captive their entire lives.
What I get from the above article is that Muslims nowadays are being taught that George W. Bush is responsible for this global movement by non-Muslims to defend themselves from jihadist mass murderers who are roaming the planet to massacre "unbelievers" in the name of al-lah.
Pathetic.
The Balkans circa 1990's present a wonderful Bizarro World. The picture presented on MSM bears absolutely nothing like the reality.
A random selection
1) The ethnic Albanians claimed to have a historical right to Kosovo and Metohija, yet even the Turks records of the area in the early 16th Century showed that the Albanians accounted for a princely TWO percent of the population.
2) Slobo was caricatured as the "Butcher of the Balkans" yet he supported every peace proposal for Bosnia.
3) The Srebrenica case against the VRS - Bosnian Serbs- was held together by the radio intercepts made by the ABIH - Bosnian Muslim Army - of the VRS's communications. However, virtually ALL the tapes were mysteriously destroyed in a Bizarro fire-cum-flooding just before they were to be seen the General Krle's defence team. In addition, the written notes of the tapes had very few dates in them -whole weeks of supposed intercepts would have no date- practically no times, and the names of the Serb offiers speaking were often guessed at by the sound their telephones made. We are also supposed to believe that the elite unit of the ABIH used children's Maths books. One had a picture of a pink elephant on the cover.
4) In Slobo's ICTY trial, the prosecution had a budget of 250,000,000 dollars per year, all the political will in the world and prosecution witnesses testified taht they'd been tortured so that they'd testify against Slobo. Slobo, on the other hand, had a computer with no internet connection, a public telephone which was often out of order. Oh, and a biro and piece of envelope. Despite that, Slobo slaughtered the prosecution. Duffed 'em he did.
5) The KLA dominate the heroin industry of Western Europe. Plus the child sex slave smuggling business. And many are Maoists and Neo Nazis too. They've also been caught on film, selling Semtex to the RealIRA
6) The US teamed up with the Iranians and the Mujahideen in Bosnia.
7) NATO only teamed up with the Mujahideen in Kosovo.
8) The MSM is a complete pile of ________
9) Something rather Evil is going on the World.
