Bin Laden and Omar operating in Pakistan: U.S. official

Fiend, er, Friend and Ally Update. By Tabassum Zakaria for Reuters:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Mullah Omar and other Taliban leaders are directing insurgency operations in Afghanistan from the Pakistani city of Quetta, while al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is operating from Pakistan's tribal areas, a senior U.S. administration official said on Friday.
Bin Laden, his deputy Ayman al-Zawahri and others are operating out of Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) bordering Afghanistan, the official told reporters on condition of anonymity.
"Just as Mullah Omar is giving strategic direction for the Taliban from Quetta, al Qaeda senior leadership is in the FATA doing its planning," the official said, without giving the source of the intelligence.
"The iconic leaders of al Qaeda -- Zawahri, bin Laden and people like (Abu Laith) al-Libi are in the tribal areas of Pakistan," the official added.
Libi was killed in January in a suspected U.S. missile strike in Pakistan's North Waziristan border area.
Bin Laden, the suspected mastermind of the September 11 attacks, and Mullah Omar are believed to have fled Afghanistan soon after the U.S.-led invasion that overthrew the Taliban government in late 2001.
Despite the presence of al Qaeda leaders in Pakistan, the official said the administration still saw Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf as a worthy ally.

"WASHINGTON, Oct. 6, 2005 – Just as terrorists "regard Iraq as the central front in the war on humanity," the United States must recognize it as "the central front in our war on terror," President Bush said in a speech here today to the National Endowment for Democracy.
The president painted a connection between Operation Iraqi Freedom and the ongoing global war on terror and vowed that the United States won't retreat with anything less than all-out victory."

That's one example. On your own, you can find another hundred, exactly like it. Just choose any year since the original entry into Iraq (2003-2008), and your month, and there is bound to be a remark identical, or similar, to the one quoted above.

They only need to hold on till the election.. It has some to my attention that radical moslems have a distinct favorite:

"Osama bin Laden is operating from Pakistan's tribal areas"

Yeah, like a mole living underground, he's probably in some remote cave 100 feet below the surface of the earth. Osama bin Mole-Laden is more like it.

OPRAHBAMA - now those are chilling links - and no offense, but so is your moniker :-)

Thanks for the update, George Wahabbi Al-bush bin Al-bush!

Keep sending these animals our money so they will NOT help us out.

After you're done banging your head on your Saudi prayer rug in the Private residence, before you go to bed, say a prayer for the United States of America.

Oh, too late..it's now 9.37pm EST...He's already gone to bed.

Good night, America.

In a perfect world we would have hit Pakistan and the tribal areas in Waziristan years ago, wouldn't we?

But it's not a perfect world is it?

They are both obviously united and constitute a big oozing sore infecting the region/world with their awful retrograde lifestyle that they are hellbent on inflicting on us.

Yet we do hardly anything - perhaps a token predator strike, when in fact we know all the villains are there and it is these places indeed that are the main factories responsible for pumping out these brainwashed robots, whose only remit is to kill us and propagate their will and lifestlye that most civilised people find repugnant.
Too simplistic?
I personally dont think so...

For some reason I couldn't post this on DW:

Al Bebeeceera depicts sharia law as ‘controversial’

(ever read an article lately re Islam without the word controversial?)

”Islamic Sharia law is a legal and social code designed to help Muslims live their daily lives, but it has proved controversial in the West for the extreme nature of some of its punishments.”

Tariq Ramadan is looking forward to come to Australia:

http://sheikyermami.com/2008/02/04/frere-tariq-to-descend-on-oz/

Perhaps the immigration dept. should be informed about his jihadist activities....?

Before Tariq Ramadan arrives, those who wish to fully inform themselves should read the just-published "Brother Tariq" by Caroline Fourest, now available in English. For anyone interviewing Ramadan, or writing about him, and wishing to be well-prepared, this book is indispensable.

Oh Really!!! That is incredible!!! I can not believe it!! It is such a surprise!!!

Nuke Quetta.

Didn't Bush supply arms and "aid" to this same Pakistan that:
- Nurtured Taliban.
- Orchestrated 9/11.
- Murdered Daniel Pearl "on-camera".
- Harbors international terrorists.
.. Will congress question Bush on this phony multi-billion dollar "war-on-terror"?

With what ever cleverness, the corporate western media portray and try to articulate the case of 'Global war on Terrorism' and hike up the flimsy pretexts to invade the sovereign countries like Iraq and Iran in the Middle East; it is bound to meet its failures and end up in desperation and frenzy. The myth of terrorism has no future and bears no ethical grounds to stand on. It is only by the vile choices of few assailants; the big wicks like United States with their vicious designs and evil choices; aiming at siphoning the resources of this area to run their own economies through deceit and fallacy.

The myth of Al-Qaeda is just a tool; an enabling agent to push forward the US hegemonic schemes in order to expand the war horizon and keep the impetus up. Al-Qaeda leadership is not worth considering if it has isolated it self in some far flung rugged mountains on Pak-Afghan border and its snooze are being tightened up day by day and they are presenting them selves as lame duck.

Love for all, Hatred for none

This is a mistake by yet another incompetent US official. Bin Laden is almost certainly in Iran with his son Sa'ad and his 4th in command, Saef al-Adel, at a secret installation guarded by Revolutionary Guard thugs. Of course, it is in his interests to disinform the US and make it believe he is in Pakistan, and our US government imbeciles fall for it with greatest ease.
