I know that it would be required to temporarily suspend reality, but wouldn't it be nice for a change to see an Islamic gathering actually protesting against a fellow "misunderstander" of Islam?

Nope.
It is coincidental that these illiterate baboons left Friday "prayers" and immediately began their favorite Friday ritual outside the temple of doom. Could it be that their pious imam incited riots and called the press to take pictures of the righteous mohammedeans expressing their justified rage? This is so boring and predictable; these photos inspire nothing but disgust for both the participating morons and the religion they practice. They do the same stupid things over and over, just like programmed robots are supposed to do. Their tenacity and perseverance might be impressive if they had any substantive grievances worthy of such histrionics. But for muslims in Pakistan and Palestine, (and some European cities) Fridays are protest and riot day. Ho-hum.
I used to pity their pathetic, abused, and battered wives, but not any more. They could put an end to the pain and suffering islam inflicts on them and the rest of the world by staging a mass rebellion and demanding an end to their slavery. Until they do, islam will continue to inflict misery and death on humanity. Women hold the key to ending islam's 1350 year reign of terror. I know it is a tall order, but I wish they would expedite the inevitable insurrection.
