From Amazon.com: The "Robert Spencer Loves Me" T-Shirt!
And I do. Every last one of you.
Seriously, I have no idea who is making these t-shirts, or why, although I'm sure they have nothing to do with me. There is a Broadway actor who has the misfortune of sharing a name with me, and I suspect that both the shirt above and the "I love Robert Spencer" t-shirt are referring to him. Nevertheless, this is a day for "fun," which is highly un-Islamic according to the irascible and fantastic old Khomeini, and so in celebration and defense of the Civilization of Joy and Fun, I offer you the greetings of the day.
I want one of these shirts!
Just imagine the furor I'd cause to the head librarian at my local library. She's an Islamophile.
Robert,
I have never heard of the "other" Robert Spencer, but I have three of your great books, and you have brought a lot of knowledge into my life over the last few years.
Thanks, and have a great Valentine's day with the one you hold dearest!
There's only one Robert Spencer for we merry band of JihadWatchers.

Big grins here.
Tis corny to speak of a hearts-and-flowers kind of love, but love for country, culture, and freedom shines through in every post. I have learned to love America and Western enlightenment much more since making JihadWatch my #1 bookmark and the beginning of my every day.
Thank you Robert.
Huzzah, huzzah, huzzah.
You da man, Robert.
Here's wishing Robert Spencer, Hugh Fitzgerald, Rebecca Bynum, their crew and loved ones a wonderful Valentines Day! ((( *****smooch*****)))
Happy Valentines Day, may we see thousands of red hearts and roses! ♥
heroyalwhyness:
Thanks, but I do hope you'll drop in more often. I love Rebecca Bynum, but she has not been affiliated with Jihad Watch for a couple of years now.

Good for the folks in Britain that these sick jokers are out of the catering business, it would certianly spoil a lot of valentines day for many
http://illustratedpig.blogspot.com/2008/02/islamc-humour.html
Just another fanatic Robert Spencer Wannabe "Spencerdanist" cult follower and recruit for The Great Leader's Virtual Militia here who bestows his ardent adulation upon The Bey of Batman, The Sultan of Swat, The Countercaliph of Cyberspace, who eagerly participates in the personality cult of Robert Coeur de Lion.
I passed over purchasing similar items in that fine product line--no kidding--like the "I Love Benito Mussolini" and "I Love Kim Il-Jong" T-shirts just to buy an "I Love Robert Spencer" of my own.
OT
Hezb'allah is p*ssed because somebody killed one of their terrorists, all together now, awwww.

Happy Valentine's Day to you all ;D
Robert, it is not just the long dead irascible and fantastic old Khomeini who is responsible for the Iranian attitide against Valentine's Day.

Happy St. Valentine's Day to Robert, Hugh, and all the wonderful staff and posters of JW/DW. :)
GrennBeck,
Don't miss the inside jokes (not to mention the farcical burlesque of genuine admiration).
To Robert, Hugh, Greg, Marisol and all the unseen minions at JW/DW, may this day be filled with more roses than you can count, more chocolate than you can eat and more love than you can stand. My heart is happy, uplifted and gladdened knowing there are people such as yourselves. Keep safe, stay strong and........
GO CUPID!!!!!
Lots of love from the Willamette Valley in Oregon!!!
There are several Robert Spencers in the Internet Movie Database. Including our Robert Spencer. Robert, you're a movie star!
http://us.imdb.com/name/nm2335976/
Is there a Broadway play database?
GrennBeck,
Don't miss the inside jokes (not to mention the farcical burlesque of genuine admiration).
I am not yet psychologically prepared to wish another male a happy Valentine's Day.
Happy Valentine's Day Marisol.
What is "RS Loves Me" supposed to mean, whether it's an unknown Broadway actor or our RS?
Enjoy your chocolates today, everyone!
Like others here, I've never heard of the Broadway Robert Spencer, and if he's so unknown, why does he rate a t-shirt?
Also, I don't get what "Robert Spencer Loves Me" is supposed to mean, whether it's Broadway RS or our RS. Anyone have any ideas?
Hope everyone enjoys their valentines and chocolates today!
Darcy
I think it means,
"Robert Spencer loves me."
But I could be wrong!

Pelayo--
Thanks!
Darcy,
I'd say it means Robert Spencer loves you. No questions, no qualifications, no ifs, ands or buts. He loves everyone. Every one of his critics could wear this t-shirt and he wouldn't disagree with any of them.
Dear JihadWatch,
Go ahead ... Kuffr ... Make my day...

LOL! Well, my Valentine's Day is made! I got a personal comment from Robert!
However, I *still* don't get the "why" of the T, sorry, whether it's RS of JW or Broadway RS.
I suppose it's an enigma wrapped in a mystery inside a puzzle. Who said that, and about what?
In a sane world even Ibrahim Hooper, Karan Armstrong and maybe even Osama would wear one of these shirts :)
Hugs 'n Kisses to ALL!! ...and Red Roses Rock!! Lots & lots of really red ones!! Please go buy your sweetie a dozen!!
Happy Valentine's Day, JW Friends!
Happy Valentines Day to you too! And I mean it. Stay safe - we need you.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY,
Thanks, John C!
What a sweetheart!!! A special "Happy Valentine's Wish" to you as well!!
!**BIG SMILE**!
Drop in more often? LOL! I'm here several times a day for several years now, but hold my tongue when others have spoken my mind better than I ever could.
As I frequently link to the treasures found in JW/DW archives - Rebecca's posts are as relevant today as they were when they were considered current.
And so the good wishes go out to all the JW/DW alumni - past and present. Many thanks for providing us the tools necessary to win this war.
Robert, Hugh, Marisol and all JW staffers:
May your Valentine's Day be awash in champagne and all things pink and red! Thanks for loving freedom and mankind enough to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous jihadists!
Happy St. Valentine's Day to Robert, Hugh, Greg and Marisol, and all the posters here who have made me cry, made me laugh, and made me a committed daily reader of JW/DW. I have learned so much from you all. Thanks to everyone, with hugs and kisses.
I ordered BOTH!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY,

Thank you, darcy! What a sweet thing to say! I am honored too!
I'd give double the money for a "Roobart Sbunsar" t-shirt. Then we'd know it's the real deal ;-)
I hope everyone who reads and posts here had a wonderful St. Valentine's day and that all of you and your spouses/significant others/partners or whatever had lots of romantic fun and made some great memories together.
My partner cooked a great dinner and put my favourite DVD in the machine (he hates it, I love it). I gave him a bottle of his favourite Armagnac and made sure, in no uncertain terms, that he knew that I still loved him despite the last thirty-two years. Then, just a few moments ago, he gave me a little parcel. When I unwrapped it I found a T-shirt inside and written on the front was the following message:
"Youth and enthusiasm will never defeat old-age and deviousness".
Sometimes you've just got to admit that your lover knows you better than you will ever know yourself!
So, there are T-shirts out there saying "Robert Spencer loves me" and our Robert Spencer is cool with that. Good! Right back at you Robert - you're a voice of sanity in a mad, bad world.
Me and my partner have had a great evening and tonight we love you all - everybody at JW/DW and everybody who posts here.
Oh, just in case you all wonder what I gave to my long-suffering partner on this the great feast of love - apart from the Armagnac, that is - then let me tell you: I gave myself, my love, unconditional, the last, and the next, thirty-two years, my thanks, heartfelt, for not having had to face life alone and unloved and the greatest sacrifice anybody could ever make (in my opinion) - 100 DVDs of Classical Opera (almost 350 hours of the type of music I don't like but I know that he loves). Man, am I going to regret that! Love does strange thing, sure enough.
Oliver.
Ollie,
Glad to hear you had a great St.Valentine's day.
... "my favourite DVD in the machine (he hates it, I love it)"
I am interested to know what that is. I'll strike a deal. You show me yours and I'll show you mine, in that regard.
By the way, when are you "crossing the pond" to play Bethpage Black with this old American bloke?
The invitation and hospitality is currently still open.
Regards,
awake
awake,
Hi there; I hope you and your sig. other had a great St. Valentine's Day. I've got to play Bethpage Black but I just don't seem to get the chance. Since we talked last I've been across the pond three times and I've played The Bridge, Monroe, Glen Arbor and Saxon Woods out in Scarsdale - all great courses but everybody tells me that Bp Black is better (that it's number one, in fact). As soon as I can get free of business obligations on a trip I'll contact you and we'll play a round there - promise.
My favourite DVD - easy, Merchant Ivory's 'Room with a View'. Silly, I know, but it speaks to me for, broadly speaking, very broadly speaking, I had the same sort of experience of Florence many, many years ago and at the very tender age of fourteen at the beginning of November back in 1966 I was befriended by two American students in Florence and helped them - and countless other mud-angels from every corner of the globe - rescue some of the most important (although I didn't know it then) artefacts of our civilisation from the filth that the flood brought down. They were much older than I was back then but now they are only five years older than I am and still married and they now have adult children and grand-children. My Mum and I just pitched in and helped as best we could whilst my father who was in Naples worried himself stupid about us 'cos he couldn't get through on the 'phone. I'll remember 'till my dying day meeting him at the railway station when he finally got to Florence because he almost squeezed the breath out of my Mum and me so fierce was his hug. He just grabbed us both in his arms and said nothing, just held us so tight that I could hardly breathe. God, there are moments in life when you know that you are loved and looking back on it, this sounds so trite but it comes from the heart really, I knew then - I'll always know - that I was loved to distraction, that my Pa loved me and my Mum more than he could ever say.
So, each and every St. Valentine's Day I give thanks for love and the power of love - romantic and familial - and I always talk with my mother and father on this day for they taught me what love is, what love means and I try to live up to that.
Oliver.
