India: Jihadists scoping targets in Goa

"Militants had visited Goa thrice just to survey the coastal areas and crowded places," and reportedly sought to target tourist attractions.

"Terror alert in serene Goa," from the Press Trust of India:

PANAJI — An alert has been sounded in Goa and police have intensified checking to track possible terror plots in the tourist hot spot, Chief Minister Digamber Kamat said yesterday.
The move follows the arrest of a suspected militant in Karnataka who had allegedly confessed about his plans to strike in Karnataka and Goa. The militant had reportedly said that he could not translate his terror plans into action as he failed to receive a consignment of 50 kgs of RDX explosive from Pakistan.
"We have sounded an alert all over the state and security has been strengthened," the Chief Minister said. He said that the police department is carrying out checks to trace the possible terror links.
Kamat said that he has held a meeting with the top police brass along with Home Minister Ravi Naik and added that "at no cost the security of the people would be compromised".
"According to our information, militants had visited Goa thrice just to survey the coastal areas and crowded places," Naik said. The State Government has sought complete details of the case and further comments could be made only after obtaining them, Naik said.
However, highly placed police sources said that the militants had the famous North Goa's Calangute-Baga beach belt in their hit list. The sources also said that a famous discotheque in the sea belt was a target.

Whenever I see muslims in places that they really shouldn't be, ie burkah clad women amongst a party district in miami, taking a casual stroll with their family, i always think of what bad stuff they are up to. Now I know my fears are not unfounded.

I feel that next time i may have to ask them their business in kuffar areas.

How about muslim no go zones

Kafurs still recv. this;

"The greatest fact lies in the stories that mention certain incidents in the local Rajasthani language stating that PrithviRaj Chauhan actually defeated Mohammad Ghori more than twice but rather seventeen times & he generously allowed him to return back[citation needed]. Also after the defeat of Prithvi Raj Chauhan in the eighteenth battle, he was taken to Ghor, where he was blinded for not accepting the supremacy of Mohammad Ghori. Chand Bardai a poet cum friend of Prithviraj came to his rescue by devising a plan to kill the sultan of Ghor. Chand approached the Sultan of Ghor & informed him that Prithviraj was an excellent archer & could hit any target just by hearing the sound & would only accept this order by a king. This proposal was accepted by Ghori. On the said day, Ghori sitting in his royal enclosure had Prithiviraj brought to the ground and had him unchained for the event. On Ghori's ordering Prithviraj to shoot, Prithiviraj turned in the direction from where he heard Ghori speak and struck Ghori dead with his arrow. This event is described by Chand Bardai in the couplet, "Char bans, chaubis gaj, angul ashta praman, Ete pai Sultan hai (Taa Upar hai Sultan). Ab mat chuko Chauhan."(Ten measures ahead of you and twenty four feet away, is seated the Sultan, do not miss him now, Chouhan).
Thereafter, both the emperor and Chand Bardai reportedly committed suicide. The emperor was buried near the tomb of Mohammad Ghazni, which also has the tomb of Mohammad Ghori. According to reports, it is now a part of the tradition in Afghanistan that those who pay visit to the tomb of Mohammad Ghazni and Mohammad Ghori first descerate the place where the emperor’s mortal remains are buried. The inscription on the tomb reads: "Here lies the Kafer( Non Believer of Islam) king of Delhi."

From the article: "he [the jihadi] could not translate his terror [tr: jihad] plans into action as he failed to receive a consignment of 50 kgs of RDX explosive from Pakistan."

Goa: saved. perhaps, this time, by the simple fact that Islam damages people's ability to think, plan, organise and cooperate.

IF the disappointed jihadi is telling the truth, one does wonder exactly what happened to fifty kilos of high explosive.

Wrong address on the parcel? Stolen by somebody else, in transit? Did the deliveryman get lost?

No, the 'fast jihad', carried out by clumsy though murderous thugs, is less of a danger, at the moment, both to India and 'the west', than the 'stealth jihad' whose practitioners, like Tariq Ramadan, are somewhat smarter and sneakier. It is the latter who are looking to capture the 'high ground' by infiltration, deception, persuasion and bribery - the courts, media, universities and schools, and key posts in army, police force, and political parties.
