I note that you didn't show an recent pictures of Bush with the Arabs rulers. I have no idea of what Obama would do or how he feels about Muslim terrorists but the Republicanas have done little except talk to step the spread of Saudi paid for mosques in this country.

Whether he's a muslim seems almost beside the point. His close relationship with Odinga and that man's connections to terrorists suggest Obama's got a serious conflict of interest.

I think that picture adds necessary context to Obama not putting his hand over his heard during the Pledge or refusal to wear an American Flag.

It's his connections with Odinga which are truly incriminating and create a conflict with what should be US foreign policy.

(Not much different from Bush unfortunately.)

I am just writing in because I have had a crush on Calvin Coolidge for a long time. I cannot thank you enough, Mr. Spencer, for posting a picture of him.

I agree with darcy - the Sioux and other American Indian tribes were not trying to take over this country, convert us to their religion, or ask for special compensation as to footbaths, etc. They were just trying to survive our government supported efforts to annihilate them. Something this govt has not considered for our jihadi enemy of today. Now it's all about accomodation and making them like us.

Obama and his wife have some serious issues about being Americans of color - of course, his family history is such that he has not suffered from slavery. And their propensity for viewing most/all things in shades of Black/Good and White/Evil mean they have no hesitations about selling out this country in a heartbeat if only to confirm their beliefs that White American is the true evil in this world.

I saw a very similar interview on a site called beliefnet.
It was amusing that when he spoke of "the prayer I say to myself each night", a commenter said 'He prays to himself?, enough evidence for me!" LOL

Like Robert, I disagree with what Obama stands for on the issues, but Farrakhan's endorsements notwithstanding, I fail to see how Obama is worse than either Clinton or McCain. While the Clinton's dressing up like Laura Bush did as Muslimahs may be just cosmetic (but a very disturbing symbolism), what's more disturbing is her past friendships with Suha Arafat, as well as the fact that it was she who at the behest of Paki lobbyists managed to get BJ add Pakistan to his Indian itenarary in 2000, even though Pakistan (like India) was under sanctions for its nuke tests.

As for McCain, his stands on Gitmo, and his willingness to try enemy combatants in US courts, as well as his constant carping on the war staring with Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001 is what makes him a good friend to the Jihadis. Nor would he stop Jihadis from coming into this country, and his recent statements on the border can't be taken seriously. If, as a senator he fought tooth and nail for amnesty (his current denials notwithstanding) and defied his party base, how can one seriously believe that as president, he'll have a different stance with so much more power? Doesn't add up.

As for the above photo, it does not jump out at me as Muslim garb. Yeah, it is Somali garb, and Somalis are Muslims, but that isn't the costume that one normally sees Muslims wearing. Had Obama dressed up like the Saudis, or like a Mullah, that would have been worth a mention. Right now, it's not that different from Calvin Coolidge with the Sioux, or say, a president visiting New Zealand and dressing up in Maori garb on a tour.

So, no, I don't like Obama's policy, but he's the one I endorse: I can't stand the idea of either Clinton nor McCain in the White House.

Regarding the update with the photo of Her Royal Thighness in a head covering, there was also the photo of her smooching Suha Arafat on the White House Lawn. That picture's gone down the memory hole.

Obama would be the first US president to not spend his entire life residing inside the US.

The first with a parent and siblings not living in the US. How will he deal with the immigration issue?

He would be the first president to not spend his formative years and early schooling in the US. How will he deal with the islamic textbooks in US schools?

He would be the first from a polygomous family. How will he deal with this issue?

He would be the first with muslim siblings and parents. How will he deal with the islamic threat? Will he even see islam as a threat when he has immediate, not distant, muslim relatives? Will they talk to him and influence his decisions? Will he decide that terrorists are just criminals? Ease up on security? How does he feel about the NOI?

He would be the first president with an Afro-centric ancestry instead of European. Will he try to spend billions to 'save' Africa? Or at least Kenya? Will he intervene in African countries where the US has no economic or strategic interest? Will he show any loyalty to European allies?

How does he feel about reparations? Even though he has no ancestors that were slaves would he endorse this? Or authorize it?

Will he defend always, a country that he hasn't always been proud of growing up? That his mother didn't seem proud of either. That his father didn't seem to like? And his wife, "MO", hasn't always been proud of? Even when he was made a senator?

Will his 'Afro-centric' church ever be looked into?

What kind of cabinet choices would he make when he has already listed Brezinski, Dhimmi Carter's man, as one choice.

Bruce Bawer wrote a stinging review of Obama's 1995 autobiography...in which - Bawer claims - Barak clearly identifies more with his Kenyan patrimony than with being American.

According to Bawer, Obama accuses his white Grand-parents who helped raise him in a loving, stable environment...of being "racists"...and yet repeatedly sings the praises of the Muslim, African father whom he scarcely knew.

I want to read the book for myself...but if Obama is anything close to being as Afro-centric in his outlook as Bawer suggests, I find it disconcerting that the Illinois Senator has scarcely said a thing about race throughout this campaign.

His mumness about race is certainly good politics and has taken him far (I've been very impressed by his oratory skills), but the question begs to be asked: Who is the real Barak Obama?

Also, three things that worldnetdaily.com brought up about Obama over the last couple of weeks:

1. George Soros of Open Society fame is funding Obama

2. George Soros is and has been funding McCain for several years

(Soros has a very specific agenda -- what is Obama's position regarding Soros? )

3. Several people seem to be making Obama a diety of sorts and there seems to be a "cult" emerging -- is Oprah who is also funding Obama -- using her New Age leanings sculp Obama into a god figure? Some claim he IS Christ and has returned.

Perhaps Obama is not directly responsible for these things -- but clearly his handlers and money backers are -- where does he stand on these issues I wonder?

And he refuses to wear the American flag on his lapel -- because why???

I’ve spent a good bit of time out of the US, in the defense of the US, and part of that was living embedded in the culture of and speaking the language of my host nation (exchange officer assignment). I think Obama’s upbringing during early childhood in Indonesia is a positive thing. His Kenyan roots are a positive thing.
Of all the candidates, Obama probably has the best understanding of Islam, and of the world. I don’t think that makes him the one most likely to be soft on terrorism. I do think it makes him the most likely to support effective information campaigns, something our current strategy is sorely lacking.
Will he bomb Iran? Probably not, so if that’s something you think is necessary, better vote for Hillary, because she is the only one stupid enough to do that.

If it were discovered that McCain, or, what the hell, Hillary; if it were discovered that either one of them belonged to a church with a website and a Mission Statement that included a statement like the one representing Obama's church, then don't you think that the media would be all over it? Don't you think that there would be a public outcry? Of course there would be. They would tear McCain or Hillary apart over a similar statement; so why is Obama practically getting away with this?!

Read this segment from Obama's churches Mission Statement again:

OK - so focus on the "African roots" part - because this is key!

Now imagine a similar statement being made by McCain's or Hillary's church:

African Roots seems to be an acceptable remark, but would White/European Roots be treated with the same acceptance? I highly doubt it. Does anyone else agree with me? Disagree with me? Come on people, this is outrageous!

The fact that there isn't more media attention on this important detail surrounding Obama really surprises me - any yet - it doesn't surprise me. Why? Either the media has a liberal bias, or we have come to accept statements like this as OK and normal. Since when should it be OK? Sorry, I'm just so pissed at this one.

Barack is a scary unknown. He is a great speaker, not a Ronald Reagen, but knows how to speak political.

What little he has said is all couched in the idea that we are wrong and our way of life is wrong. He does not come out and say it directly but says enough for people to connect the dots if they are already convinced of the philosophy. He also phrases things in almost a spiritual or religious tone. Or has spin doctors expand on these themes.

This country is divided right down the middle IMO. He represents one half of the country. The election is still months away a lot can and will happen between now and then. Hopefully more people will wakeup to the real threat (and it isn't be overweight).

He probably is not a muslim and as far as I can tell he is not a Christian. The church he is affiliated with has black pride and race stamped all over it. Its agenda is to correct the wrongs of slavery. This is a dead house but a foolish part of the population think it still an issue. The ones (this church included) leading this issue are seeking more power and money for their own gain. By contrast, Jesus helped the oppressed, he did not use them to create a base to correct the wrongs of the world, he died for the wrongs. Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, uses the correct God words but like many others does not have Christ as the head of the church. Instead Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. is the head man.

All in all, if half of his unknowns are what have been mentioned here, Islam will be getting a free ticket for the next four years.

I like all of that mission statement. If I was Obama I wouldn't run away from that. The early Church made many big decisions in Africa, and Augustine of Hippo, an african, was a big player. The canon for the church was finalized at a council in North Africa. The Church has African roots, and I'm also proud of those roots. It would be great to make the muslims of North Africa aware and proud of their Christian African roots.

Knowing that he is the most liberal Senator, he will probably bring back partial birth abortion and weaken our laws which will aid Islamic terrorists to operate in our country more freely. Ronald Reagan was not a Marxist and strongly supported capitalism, smaller government, individual responsiblity, and equal opportunity for all Americans to achieve fame, fortune, or whatever they aspired to achieve. One of Ronald Reagan's greatest strengths was an ability to stay positive and humorous. He was able to get huge numbers of Democrats to vote for him because of that. He liked to have Tip O'Niell over for the evening after they both had gone at it with each other all day. He was a true uniter.

If you want to split hairs George Washington didn't live in the US for his early life, since there was no US at the time. But I think you know what I mean. And Army service doesn't count as 'residing' in another country either. You are still a US citizen with a legal US address working for your country. If you are not one of those swooning..cult of personality..Obama groupies, you should be able to document the reasons for your confidence in him. Something more than, " he probably has a better understanding of Islam." So he has traveled a little and that experience makes him a better candidate? What about McCains travels to southeast asia and his long layover in Hanoi? I have not been able to find anything in Obama's background that would cause me to have any confidence in his ability to lead this country in a direction that ensures our survival.

IMO, the problem that most Obama fans face is that Obama is very vague on what he means by "CHANGE". One cannot rely on his television ads or even the debates to get 'real' clarity to that slogan he literally crams down our throats. Too much mystery surrounds the man, which is the last thing the American people need right now: More Mystery and Intrigue!

I would rather have a rough-around-the-edges leader in the Oval Office who is an open book, than a man-of-mystery Any Day!

McCain was my less-than-last choice on the Republican roster. There were--there must have been--some shenanigans--what with Giuliani conveniently dropping out, exactly at the right time to let McCain sprint ahead of Romney. But no matter, there is not much that can be done on that side (the people who gave us George W. Bush--who was still better than John Kerry).

That alone is a strong accomplishment. The Clinton machine is not easily thwarted, and may still pull this out. But the ability to generate support from in and outside the black community, to organize, pull in cash, and parry and thrust with Hillary and Bill, that is no light matter.

He presents a much tougher challenge to the Republicans (I am a pro-life Republican, by the way) than Hillary. Competition is good for America.
I am not thrilled with Obama's stance on abortion, but after reading his religion speech, I can acknowledge his arguments, disagree with them, and try to couch my arguments in universal language (in this case by me attempting to show that the unborn child is a person according to the constitional definition of a person, and equally deserving of the rights accorded to born persons).
McCain is a hero. He is also a leader, but not in the same way as Obama. If McCain is elected, every democrat will still bitch and moan about how they aren't treated fairly, that the system is unfair, etc. If Obama is elected, and democrats cry about how unfair the US is to blacks (and gays, women, immigrants, etc.), it will be easy to point to a freely elected black president and say "try again with that argument, bubba". If Obama is elected, I think it will push folks to greater personal responsibility, which is in his statement, and which is something I hope he is able to carry out.

I probably didn't answer your question satisfactorily, so read up on McCain's site, Hillary's site, and Obama's site (and Huckabee's, if you think he still has a chance), and decide which one you want to be your president...one of them will certainly be, and they deserve our prayers and support.

WC, I would suggest that you do some serious research on Mr. Obama. I think you'll be surprised at what you discover. Obama is a Marxist, just like Hillary. That is a fact, like it or not. Despite his law degrees, the United States Constitution seems to be a profound mystery to him. Why does he belong to a church with 6000 angry, hostile, white-hating members, staffed by clergy with similar sentiments?

Obama is slick; remember slick Willie? They use different techniques but the result is the same. We have yet to see the "real" Obama but he's just an average guy, nothing special, not particularly brilliant, and his wife is a real bitch which tells me plenty about him. He plans to disarm America; were you aware of that? He has some magnificent plans for us; I would suggest that you learn what they are before you compare him to Ronald Reagan. Quite frankly, his plans terrify me.

My other concern is Obama's close family relationship to Kenyan politician Raili Odinga, who secretly sought the backing of Muslims in Kenya by promising in writing a pre-election agreement that would formally recognize Sharia law for the Muslims in the country. Obama was in Kenya prior to the election, acting as a supporter. Although it is hard to know what Obama knew and when he knew it, it is hard to believe that his elevation to the highest office in the U.S. would not help the continuing efforts of Odinga to gain power in Kenya through power-sharing negotiations overseen by the U.N. coupled with civil disturbances instigated by Odinga's supporters, including the burning of Christians in their churches in Kenya.

By the way, the difference between Obama's dress-up photo and Coolidges, is that Coolidge was pandering to voters and American citizens, while Obama was just plain trying on a role that has nothing to do with Americanism or Western values.
