Verse 9:29 forms the basis of the system of dhimmitude prevalent in the Islamic empire, which institutionalized the second-class status of non-Muslims (specifically Christians and Jews) and forced them to pay tribute for ‘protection’:

It is precisely this truth -- the real nature of the war on Israel, which is simply a Lesser Jihad -- that the Arabs have tried to conceal from the Western world, even as they have never made much of a secret about it among themselves.

After the Six-Day War, the local Arabs -- not those within Israel as defined by the 1949 Armistice Lines (who continued to simply be called "Arabs") but those Arabs who were in the territories won by Israel in a war of self-defense, in Gaza, and in Judea and Samaria (which had been carefully renamed by Jordanian Arabs, in the late 1940s, as "the West Bank"[of the Jordan River] -- a most peculiar designation for such an ear-shaped area), carefully renamed themselves, as the "Palestinian people," and the Arabs collectively repackaqed their refusal to contemplate -- as Islam inculcates the need to retake any inch or dunam of land that has ever been under Muslim control, no matter how tiny that land area may be, or how inoffensive its current Infidel possessors.

Over the years many "Palestinian" Arab leaders would utter the truth about the war on Israel. Zuheir Mohsen did it, explaining that the whole business with the "Palestinian People" was useful fiction. Yassir Arafat did it, all the time, perhaps most boldly in Johannesburg, just a few weeks after he had signed the Oslo Accords, and to a Muslim audience, by way of explanation, he smilingly mentioned Muhammad's treaty with the Meccans at Hudaibiyya -- meaning, of course, that just as Muhammad broke that agreement and subsequently attacked the Meccans in 629 A.D., so he, Yassir Arafat -- never fear -- would be doing the same kind of thing. A week or two ago it was the Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar, denying that there was ever such a place as "Palestine" separate from the great "Arab nation." Of course hardly anyone in the Western press bothered to discuss the signifance of that highly significant remark. How could they, after all? It would require people to be more than mere reporters. It would require them to know something, and especially, something about Islam.

After all, didn't Bishop Fulton J Sheen warn us about the increasing hostility of Muslim countries towards Christians and the West over 50 years before 911 when he wrote the following in 1950:

The first reference I'm familiar w/ is in 135 A.D. when the Romans invented the name "Palestinia" in a failed attempt to erase Israel's national memory of their ancestral homeland.

After the fall of Rome,the moniker "Palestinia" was largely forgotten,& became an historical footnote.However,following the end of WW1 & the defeat of the Turk's,the British dusted off the olde Roman epithet INCORRECTLY referring to Judea as "Palestine".

The indigenous Arabs,who until that time had called the place Syria,took the name upon themselves.So by calling themselves Palestinians & the land Palestine it caused the world to think it was theirs & that the Jews were trespassing.There has been no Palestinian people for the last 2600 years.And there has NEVER been a Palestinian state outside of Gaza.

Muslims destroy YMCA, Christian books
'We don't need any of these missionary institutions'

In the latest attack on Christians in Gaza, 16 Palestinians forced their way into the YMCA library, stole everything but Christian books and then burned down the building.

According to Palestinian terrorist sources in Gaza, the attack was carried out by Hamas and its ally, the Popular Resistance Committees. Israeli security sources said Hamas knows exactly who was behind the attack.

Sheik Abu Saqer, leader of Jihadia Salafiya, an Islamic outreach movement that recently announced the opening of a "military wing" to enforce Muslim law in Gaza, told WND the YMCA had Muslim children in its nursery program.

"Gaza is Muslim, more than 99 percent are Muslim," he said. "We don't need any of these missionary institutions. They have only one goal – to convert our sons and daughter to Christianity."

Abu Saqer said that while he feels some sympathy for parents who can no longer send their children to the program, "Let them send their children only to sharia Islamic nurseries where they will teach the principles of the Quran."

Sources say that in previous attacks against Christians in Gaza, gunmen have worn masks, but in this instance, just four of the 16 shielded their identities, indicating an increased boldness.

Israel Radio said the fire, which destroyed thousands of books, was started with an explosive device.

A second explosive device laid near a computer in the library failed to detonate. Two security guards were taken by the intruders and later released in the northern Gaza Strip, Israel Radio said.

Abu Saqer accused the leadership of the Gaza Christian community of "proselytizing and trying to convert Muslims with funding from American evangelicals."

"This missionary activity is endangering the entire Christian community in Gaza," he said.

Abu Saqer claimed there was "no need" for the thousands of Christians in Gaza to maintain a large number of institutions in the territory.

He said Hamas "must work to impose an Islamic rule or it will lose the authority it has and the will of the people."

Al Qaeda's latest display of terror has made its way onto the Internet, showing horrifying images of what appear to be prisoners in Iraq being doused with an inflammatory liquid and then burned alive.

That the 'nationalist', 'separatist', struggles from Africa to the Philippines are in fact local jihads awaiting the consolidation of emirates into a Caliphate is something the MSM misses completely. It fails to even entertain the idea.

But lest this sounds like a conspiracy - let's face it, there is no central command in the Islamic 'world' but plenty of schisms, rivalry and conflict - we ought to admit to ourselves, those of us that appreciate the role of Islam in all of these theatres, that in each of these struggles the role of Islam, and the extent to which it influences the 'resistance' movements, can be different.

Take Chechnya. There, a bona fide resistance movement (in the first Chechen war) was hijacked by the Arab mujahideen. But it didn't sway the majority of the Chechen people. Call them what you will - 'moderate' sufis or lapsed Muslims - but a rift occured within the movement and many did not want to go along with the jihadists' vision of an emirate, that was subsequently declared by Dokku last year.

The notion of 'it's all a conspiracy to re-instate the Caliphate' has purchase. Ultimately this is right. But we should not be lazy in our thinking. Does this mean all of the mainly young, brainwashed men in 'Palestine' and elsewhere actually believe that they are engaged in a doctrinally-sound struggle against infidels for the eventual world domination of Islam, knowing that what they are involved in has its theological justification in the Qur'an and ahadith? How many in fact are only taken in by the victimology of the Islamic propaganda machine (this is of course part of the message of Islam: to attack those deemed to be attacking Islam) without reference to the doctrine of offensive jihad, as obligatory in Islam? And how many may believe in the victim theory but be interested in a state, as opposed to an emirate, a stepping stone to the global Caliphate? Sometimes I think we simplify the realities on the ground and look for the doctrinal justification of jihad (which is obviously to us there) but how much does doctrine play a part in these struggles? Of course it does, I am not denying it. But the question has to be asked about the role of the texts, and their interaction with actions. Isn't there a difference, after all, between being inspired by them to commit violence and using them to justify violence that has its roots in the stuff of imperialism per se?

Does anyone care to take these questions seriously? For if we can explore these issues then our arguments can only become stronger.

At the mega level there is the spiritual and religious tie-in. I do think, at the micro level especially with young men and boys its all a game and testosterone and machismo. I was watching a YouTube video, of some Palestinian boys acting up before the camera. They were being encouraged by older men. The POV shows the MSM camera's on one side and the actors playing and running into the frame and out. They would stop(out of MSM camera view) and other boys would run up and try and be next. Oh, I remember they were showing injures caused by the explosion that occurred. They had a bloody bandage around the arm. It could be slipped on and off and that is what the boys were fighting over, to be next.

It is all disorganized globally IMO, but they have this common belief that when there Jesus comes everything will fall into place and the many will become whole. I don't doubt that the middle and upper management are using this to build there own political power fiefdoms. What is the appeal at the bases level? I think it is as simple as getting something, with very little effort, for nothing. And I am not meaning only material gain. It appeals to all of the vises of men. Power, sex, fame, wealth, respect among peers, ego etc. You could name another half dozen. Remember their culture is very different, and I mean more in values, than ours.

How it breaks down by percentage I have no idea. Or whether we'll ever know. I guess we want to find their Achilles heal. I would say we could use there quick anger and over sensitivity to work to your advantage. Pit one group against another. Spread disinformation. Identify and take out any leaders and mover/shakers.

Those are my thoughts. I am sure others with more brain power may pipe in as well.
