KABUL (Reuters) - Afghan Taliban militants have branded the reprinting of a satirical cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad in Danish newspapers and a film on the Koran by a Dutch politician as part of a "Crusader war" against Muslims.The Islamic movement, which is leading an insurgency in Afghanistan against Afghan and foreign troops led by NATO and the United States, also called for aid for the Palestinians in their conflict with Israel.
"We see the publication of cartoons and insult of the Holy Koran as part of the Crusaders' war," the Taliban said in a statement posted on the group's Web site.

Indeed, we're all a bunch of Crusaders! Like in 2004 when we gave billions to mostly Muslim countries who suffered from a great Tsunami while most other Muslim countries just watched their people suffer.
If the Taliban and the fruit of Islam is the height of what God wants for human experience, I'll take the Devil. Ironically he seems more compassionate than what Islam is preaching. Or perhaps what Islam calls Allah is really Satan and the Crusaders are the ones who worship the living God.
What's clear to me is that one religion worship the Devil and it appears that not much mercy and love is coming from Islam and the Koran. Not much charity for fellow Muslims or non-Muslims. Not many Nobel prizes (although the micro-bank guy was impressive). Not much of anything comes from Islam, except perhaps a pile of suffering.

Since the Crusades were a slow response to over 400 years of Homicidal Maniac Mohammedan Jihadist aggressions. I don't find being call a "Crusader" all that bad.
(Note to self; After almost 900 years the very idea of "The Crusaders" still strikes terror in the Shrivel Blackened Hearts of the Jihadist, how would Sun-Tzu or Machiavelli tell us to use this to our advantage?)
And if some short film or cartoons place the Jihadist on the defensive so easily... I say let the "Art Attacks" commence in full force.

Perhaps the Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus said it best back in 1391 when he wrote about Islam with regard to Christianity:

And I always thought that Gen. Peter Pace was as clueless about Islam as G. W. Bush appears to be. When he was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff he was much maligned and blamed for failures in Iraq.
I suppose that knowing what Islam is all about and what is its proponents' goal does not help much when the people in charge of the war can't even say what it--the war--is against.
The enlisted men, who have been to Iraq, whom I talked to know what Islam is. They are not enthralled by it nor by Moslems.
It is refreshing to discover that our military is not as blinded by the light emanating from Arabia as is the civilian administration and too many in Congress.

We see statements like this as the whining protest of dangerous, self absorbed juvenile delinquents. Another reminder that the culture that produced the Taliban should not have access to 21st century scientific and engineering education, nor modern manufacturing technology until they master social skills of the enlightenment.
Islamic society sorely needs to do the intellectual work to discover that neither the social nor physical world is flat. Their scientific and technological base should remain commensurate with the rest of their world view, for everyone's sake.
When the Islamic world proves, over time, that it can accept differing points of view and values without flying into tantrums of irrational hate and stupidity, we can talk about other types of education.
The engineering academic exchange programs now being instituted are a decisive step in the wrong direction, and need to be reexamined. To do less, as we have done and continue to do, is suicidal. Hopefully, the people who make these decisions will gain some helpful insight from rising military threat of China.

What actually is useful about this particular news item is the insight it provides into the apartheid psychology at work within Islam: Muslims may declare wars ("jihad") against any and all "unbelievers" at will. But al-lah forbid the "unbelieving" non-Muslims start wars against Islam! Oh,NO!!!!
So, maybe the lesson to be learned here is that the western democracies need to start more wars against Islam, draw more Muhammedan caricatures in their media, make more expose films on the unfathomable abuses that make up the Islamic "faith," etc.

Unicorn, you may have hit on something very important here. Perhaps Bush-2, or his advisors, have been a lot slicker and more subtle than is generally thought. Consider, there is Dubya in 2002-3, in a country dominated by a left-PC media and intelligentsia, all busy droning on about how Islam ia a ROP, and the terrorists just a "tiny minority", etc. The Pres. wants to get out to the public the truth about the evil of Islam and its plans for conquest, but knows if he tries, he will be shouted down and branded a bigot and racist in every editorial, TV commentary, university classroom, and mainstream church in the land.
What to do? Well, to begin with, go after Saddam, who everyone pretty much agrees is a nasty, mass-murdering tyrant. But then comes the ingenious, subtle part. He fights the war not just with army regulars, but calls up unit after unit of reserves and national guardsmen for one-year tours of duty. This gives hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans first-hand and on-the-ground experience on just how nasty a piece of work Islam is. They in turn come home and spread the word among their families, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. The message is spread to millions of Americans who would not have been reached otherwise.
And they called Willie "slick". Well, meet "devious Dubya".
If this feels like crusade what else does it show than doubt about their ideas?

It is precisely about “eliminating Islam” sneaky. Let me clarify what I mean by “education”.
It’s about educating them and the world as to the true nature of their death cult. It’s about destroying the deception Muslims use, at every turn and every opportunity. Deception is the air that Islam breathes and without it, it cannot survive.
So we “educate” those on the fringes of Islam such as the disillusioned ones in Iraq that are now totally disgusted with Islam and the death and tyranny that come with it. Thanks to our brave troopers, some, perhaps many, are now receiving this “education” in Islam.
There is no more powerful weapon against Islam, than the “educated” Muslim apostate.
Geert’s film will be an excellent opening salvo in the war against Islam. Steady in the crosshairs of the film, is the deception that Islam employs to hide its true nature – truly “educational”.

This whole cartoon flap says a great deal about the massive inferiority complex infecting the whole political, religious, academic and intellectual institutions of the West.
It is obvious that the Islamic world is riving up for a major push to punish the Western "crusaders" over cartoons in the Danish press preceived as insulting Mohammad, and for the airing of a film in the Neitherlands preceived as defaming Islam.
Meanwhile, Women in Muslim countries are having their heads chopped off for conversing with Males unrelated by blood or marriage.
No telling how many people will killed and churches burned as a result of Muslim moral outrage, and how little will be said in the West about the real moral outrages perpetrated everyday in the Islamic world.
If we are morally inferior to Muslims, it's not because of our principles and lifestyle, it's because of our silence in the face of the immorality practiced in the Muslim world.
It's we who should be in the streets demonstrating, and it's our Western leaders who should be taking a moral stand.

I have passed out my leaflets on Muhammad and the Qur’an on various runs and rallies, but I have never taken the time to really get organized or efficient about it.
Do you have any interest in this? Are you familiar with “The Redwood Run?”

We have known for some time now that these twits wanna kill us for not being Muslims. Now this particular twit calls us, those that spread the truth about Islam, "Crusaders".
I think I like that. It makes things...more out in the open if you ask me. We are what we are. They invade and attempt to conquer. We, those of us living in a state of relative freedom, have repulsed their various invasions of our homelands and resisted their attempts to subjugate us on a regular basis. In the more distant past, those actions resulted in one being referred to as a Crusader. I will accept that label and wear it with pride.
In these days of PC, the face of our enemy has changed by it's own design. Stealth invasions are now the norm. The sword has been replaced by the lawyer, the website, and especially, our clueless Muslim apologists... at least until the sword can be put back to use.
We know this...the general population does not and wonders at our concern over a mere "religion".
The biggest enemy of, and the greatest danger to Islam, is simply revealing Islam for what it is. That's all it takes. Truth. Our best and most powerful weapon.
If wielding the truth makes me a Crusader, so be it.
