After an infusion of American cash. But don't be concerned: they're moderate cash grants. "Americans paying rent for terrorists? Militants complain they don't have enough money to cover their bills," by Aaron Klein for WorldNetDaily (thanks to Doc Washburn):
JERUSALEM – Just days after it was announced the U.S. would transfer $150 million directly to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' government, members of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group, the declared military wing of Abbas' Fatah party, were told they would receive cash grants, WND has learned. According to Palestinian militant sources familiar with the issue, earlier this month, 20 members of the Brigades leadership in the West Bank city of Ramallah complained to PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad they did not have enough money to pay their bills, including, for many of them, rent for their apartments. Last week, according to the informed sources, Fayyad told the complaining Brigades leaders he would provide them with a one-time grant of $3,000 each, or $60,000 to the Ramallah-based Brigades leadership. The sources said after Brigades leaders in other West Bank cities, including Hebron and Nablus, heard of the grants, they also demanded pay increases. "Some of the other fighters accused Fayyad of favoring the Brigades leaders in Ramallah since that's where Fayyad lives," said a militant source. "So he gave grants also to other cells."The sources estimate at least $350,000 in grants to Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades leaders were pledged by Fayyad since last week. Some of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades leaders serve in Fatah security forces while others only work in the Brigades.
The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades is responsible for scores of suicide bombings, deadly shootings and rocket attacks. It is listed by the State Department as a terrorist organization even though U.S. policy considers the Fatah party to be "moderate."
Many members of the Brigades openly serve in Fatah's official security forces....
Read it all.
There must be some mistake, or misunderstanding, the US is fighting terrorism, not supporting it.
In fact they are prosecuting Muslims all over America for giving support to the Palestinian terrorist organizations.
If this were the case then our own legal institutions would have to arrest any US Government Employee or employees who are complicit in such activities with American tax payers money and I have seen no evidence of that so far.
Come on; do you really think our government is that ignorant???
Our state dept must have learned something from the pakis. First you make trouble using western money and then you receive even more money to solve the problem. But you really never solve it because you want to keep receiving this money. So on one hand billions goes to our anti terror war and millions go to people who are the cause of this terror. Go figure
Maybe the rest of the Martyrs Brigade should protest not getting their fair by staging a mass self explosion which would make them martyrs.
Mackie asked, "Come on; do you really think our government is that ignorant???"
A rhetorical question, I assume?
Why do 'martyrs' need money?
By the 'Bush Doctrine' we should bomb the State Department. Really!
Our state dept must be living in la la land aka the peoples republic of burekly ca as usual and fearing to let there feet touch the ground of reality its sad really in away that if and when sharia law is implemented they will be the first to be killed by the muslims they seem to want to hand the country to must be all the jizha that the saudis spend on the retiremet plan for sinoir buricrates you know the one thinly discised as speaking fees to talk to muslim groups
While we're on the topic of the Jihad and jizya:
Everybody please hop on over to Jerusalem Post and read the latest article by Caroline Glick. It concerns the Arab Muslim criminal clans resident in the Galilee, who are employing classic Jihad war-by-attrition + outright thuggery and standover tactics, against the local Jewish farmers. The Muslim mafia bosses are blatantly demanding de facto jizya - 'protection money'; that is, that they should be paid plenty by said Jewish farmers, in order to graciously refrain [mostly] from thieving and vandalising.
I spit upon such vicious thugs. They are pursuing EXACTLY the same practices that their predecessors and co-religionists followed for 1300 damnable years, as recorded in James Parkes' account of the Muslim invasion and occupation of 'Palestine'. That is: the Muslim top dogs, the clan chiefs (one, in olden days, was known as 'The Butcher' - need I say more?) rob and oppress the non-Muslims first of all, but also any Muslims weaker than themselves, while also fighting murderously and incessantly with rivals and kin over the loot; and over time total social and ecological collapse ensues. Hobbes' description of a primal state of "war of all against all", in which life is "nasty, brutish and short" is the perfect summary of the kind of society that Islam naturally produces over the long term, if it runs out of people to rob.
A similar jihad - consisting of ghazi raids, that is, perpetual thieving and bullying and vandalism - is being waged by the Arab Muslims against Jewish farmers and townspeople in the Negev, I may add.
However: in Glick's account there is a glimmer of hope: it seems that at least some Jewish Israelis have remembered Orde Wingate and his patent recipe for dealing with Arab Muslim mafiosi.
Now, if only the politicians - not only in Israel, but elsewhere - could also remember.
First rule: DO NOT PAY THE JIZYA. Do not make deals with Muslims for 'protection'. Make sure you have weapons and are prepared to protect yourself.
Second rule: when the Muslim thugs come, or threaten to come, to punish you for not paying jizya, hit their HQ and SQUASH IT.
Dumble, you recall how Ishmael is described in Genesis: His hand is against all men and the hand of all men is against him. ידו בכול ויד הכול בו
The raiding habits of pre-Islamic Arabian tribes were continued by the Muslims.
