In my morning email many people are asking me if I will host Geert Wilders's Qur'an movie here at Jihad Watch.
I haven't had any contact with Geert Wilders. He has not asked me to host the film. But if given the opportunity, I certainly would, at least until we too were shut down.
I've noticed this morning also that many others are offering to host the film. That is a good thing -- Westerners refusing to be intimidated and silenced by thuggery and threats. I hope that ultimately the film appears in many, many places -- too many to shut them all down.

Putting the films on as many servers as possible, simultaniously, will the the best way to dilute the worldwide demand and inevitable denial of service attacks, and so reduce downtime. It wont, however, be plain sailing.
Lets just hope this film is as intelligent as we have all been led to believe, and hence worth the fuss and support.
Sometimes the fantasy is better than the real thing.
I see that www.fitnathemovie.com is offline now, having been "suspended while Network Solutions is investigating whether the site's content is in violation of the Network Solutions Acceptable Use Policy".
And the only thing on the site was a banner that said "Fitna the movie, coming soon".
Any bets on whether it will ever come back up (I wouldn't take that bet)?
Basically it's the same old story: muslims scream and whine, and get their way because of the West's pathological fear of being labeled, "intolerant".
We've all seen it happen a million times, one more is hardly a surprise.
Be a little careful about this, Robert. Wilders film might be a load of rubbish, and you don't want it to damage your own credibility by associating it with this site.
I highly doubt Mr. Wilder's movie will be "a load of rubbish", but in any case, I am also sure it will be viewed and vetted before being hosted on this site. Can't wait to see it!

I did send an Email to Geert Wilders Website this morning letting him and his staff know that Robert Spencer would love to show "Fitna" on his Website at http://www.jihadwatch.org/.
Although not surprised by any of it, the troubles Fitna has faced has diheartened me more than most things. That everyone is up in arms about shutting it down before anyone has ever even seen it shows that freedom of speech takes a back seat to appeasing terrorists.
Every Christmas and Easter (and pretty much every other day on the calendar) "documentaries" surface about how the Bible must be wrong at every turn and there could be no possible merit to any of its history. Those things are of course celebrated by the media, but I am sure someday they will feel the wrath of violent Christianists, right?
With all this publicity, the count of hits on the first day would be astronomical, probably cause the server to smoke, and raise Cain with type-key, everyone and their brother will want to comment...

I would have thought Hot Air or Pajamas Media would be ideal venues for the Wilders film. I wonder why either or both don't step up to sponsor the film?

The huge amount of fuss is a sign of weakness in direct proportion to the fear and vulnerability felt by Islamists, who need to squash anything that threatens their power, at all costs.
That power is destroyed if rank and file Muslims, (some especially rank), finally get to see through the myth of benign islam by realizing the truth about Mohammed (the massacres, lying, paedophilia, etc).
This is what the internet should be used for. If honest criticism is ever allowed to openly take hold then how can believers continue to love their hero and slavishly emulate him?
The Fitna film, the cartoons, this site and others like FFI, the marvellous books by RS are all having a great effect. There must surely soon be a dramatic rise in the number of desertions from the faith.

It seems we have all -- I mean the whole world -- been had. According to the two sites below, including the makers of the movie -- there is no Fitna movie. It was all a hoax to expose Islamic intolerance and appeasement of them. Read them yourself.

A "whois" search of the domain shows it's owned by some UK guy who's name is Dutch for "bad hair"

I did see in the news (I could find it again, if necessary) that Network Solution's complaint was that Wilders would not respond to their querries for details on the movie's content.
I don't know if that's NS's "official story", or a story of convenience ... I can easily see Wilders being unwilling to provide any concrete detail to anyone.
I'll host it. There's millions of other bloggers who would as well. It's not hard to set up a server.
Even though it may come to losing one's head, good men must never submit to this perverse wickedness. We should rally around the slogan 'WE WILL NEVER SUBMIT!', and stick our thumbs in their eyes. What more noble cause than to resist and despise this evil.
