I got this email about an hour ago from an IP address that traces to Dearborn, Michigan:

That's all it said.
I wonder what this gentleman is doing in Dearborn, Michigan in order to bring this about. Is he working in any way to subvert the U.S. Constitution? Is he engaged in illegal activity? Does any law enforcement or government official in Dearborn, Michigan know or care that there are people there who harbor such sentiments, or if they are aware of that (as they would almost certainly have to be) are they aware that this is not just a religious statement, but a political one?

In fact these harbored sentiments having been cropping up too many times to count. We know these sentiments are being preached in Waahabist influenced mosques all over the America.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed that Michigan has one of the highest populations of Middle Easterners outside of the middle east. I'm talking raw numbers, not percentages or density. Seems to me that just a little bit more attention should be focused on the area.

If you actually watched the vid, you'd have noticed that the folks gettin' smoked by our boys were actively engaged in trying to kill our troops. I observed multiple RPG launches from them aimed at our troops. These were not unarmed citizens caught in a crossfire. See all the little flashes coming from them? Gunfire. Did you note all the reinforcements arriving in trucks?

What I saw, for ten full minutes, was a dispassionate crew on a kill mission in a small town in the West. Why wouldn't they establish a perimeter, and capture as many of the "armed personnel" as possible for interrogation purposes? Also, there is nothing that would differentiate between the attackers from local civilians, except that some of the enemy are firing weapons.
If a C-130 gunship was to attack my neighborhood, and there were people firing back at it, I’d be one of the figures running for shelter.
Those running figures were not innocent civilians running for cover. They were enemy combatants. I guess you didn't notice the helicopters towards the end there extracting our troops from an area filled with an overwhelming force of enemy fighters.
The fire you saw was to cover their retreat. (You did notice the copter with the troops entering them didn't you?) The enemy sent reinforcements up the ying yang in there, by the truckload, to kill our troops. Instead, they were dealt that which they wished to deal to our forces. Death.
Are you familiar at all with the concept of war? It aint pretty...ever. It all sucks. But, who do you wish to see dead? Our troops or theirs?
Should they have held fire, our boys would have died. I'm sure that's not what you want...is it? There were too damned many for us to "set up a perimeter" and capture them all for interrogation.
