I wouldn't be surprised to learn the Jordanian legal system handed out lighter sentences to those who turn themselves in for such crimes, which would explain why this brother went ahead and did just that. In other countries, the family will protect the murderer who defended the family honor, so this brother's willingness to come forward says to me he must not be too afraid of the repercussions, if he faces any at all.

My sister tells me that she knows someone who's cousin, an infidel, was engaged to marry a muslim girl. Her brother killed her. I think this happened several years ago in California. I will see if she has more details for general interest...

But out of sensitivity for sister-killers everywhere, let's not call them garbage. Let's say they just have "different cultural values", that happen to be incompatible with our own cultural values. In order to protect their right to honor each other with fratricide, it is necessary for us to gently but firmly guide them back to their countries of origin, where they can be free of the corrupt influence of us filthy kufirs who have blasphemous ideas about the equality of women, the need to protect children from sexual predators, and the idea that people have the right to make laws without guidance from Allah the Magnificent. There are some very sad but great books about honor killings that will give you an understanding of the importance of this test and results. This is a different culture, one which is tribal, which the roots go down deep- for a millinium plus. It is hard to understand this sort of bloodlust, and I hope to see more and more people get educated about this for the sake of all women everywhere.
Aaahhh, yes! Isn't it wonderful to learn about other cultures, to learn about the "different cultural values" of other countries, and about "their rich cultural heritage?"
And the more I learn about other cultures, the more I realize that most of this planet is populated by ULTRA-VIOLENT THIRD WORLD BARBARIAN THUGS.
