CAIR claims threats against publicly-funded Minnesota madrasa

Maybe there really were threats. If so, they're deplorable, as evil as they are idiotic. Above all, however, they're useful. The unindicted co-conspirator CAIR knows how to play the game: deflect attention away from anything Muslims are doing that might cause non-Muslims concern, and do everything possible to portray Muslims as victims who need a special protected status. Now the story about this school is not whether or not it is teaching Islam on public money, but how terrible it is that Muslims face "Islamophobia."

And note that what CAIR wants is a community meeting -- i.e., an indoctrination session in which the participants will be instructed about the evils of "Islamophobia" and the little matter of taking public funding for an Islamic school will go unmentioned.

The Minnesota chapter of a national Islamic civil liberties group has asked the FBI and local law enforcement officers to investigate reported threats against a Twin Cities charter school as possible hate crimes, while a Jewish organization deplored the threats.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) made the request Monday after the director of Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy in Inver Grove Heights told police that he and the school had received threatening and harassing phone messages and e-mails.

The group is concerned about the safety of the school's students, many of whom are Muslim, said CAIR chapter coordinator Chris Schumacher. Tagging the threats as possible hate crimes also makes it clear that prejudice could have prompted them, and "we wanted to bring that to light in case that wasn't already obvious to people," he said.

The Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas also condemned the alleged threats in a statement released Monday.

As of Monday, the charter school had not filed a complaint with the Minneapolis FBI office, but agents will reach out to the school and get more details about the messages, said Special Agent Paul McCabe. Identifying the messages as possible hate crimes would put them under the jurisdiction of federal as well as local law enforcement authorities, he said.

CAIR members are talking with the school about follow-up action that could include a community meeting along the lines of a town hall forum held in Blaine after arsonists set fire to a convenience store owned by a Muslim man in January, Schumacher said....

This is Minnesota and you better believe that we are going to grovel and scrape and tear our garments and put on sackcloth and ashes and repent to our new Muhammedan overlords, like there is no tommorrow. I am sorry, I is entirely possible some unhelpful idiot did threaten this people, but with CAIR and company lieing and fibbing is entirely possible too. It is sickening how quick the dhimmis assume bootlicking position. I am one Minnesotan who will never,ever apologize to any Muslims for anything,that is until they give back the Hagia Sophia and meet a list the cirteria of adequate apology and recompence for over 700 crimes and sins againest non-Muslims I have compiled. So there!

Interesting that they still have not filed a complaint with the FBI. The timeline of when the first report of supposed threats occured, right after Kersten's last article, is very important. It is easy to launch staged threats via phone after the fact. Now that CAIR is involved, dubious actions are inevitable.

Right. I bet there are a whole bunch of Jewish and Christian students studying in the school that is attached to a Mosque and follows Moslem traditions! I suspect "many" means like 99.999999999% of the student body.

Sometimes these threats are non-existent, like the "threats" claimed against a leader of CAIR after Sen Barbara Boxer rescinded his award. The FBI investigated that case and found the claims of "threats" to be without merit.That's why I'm certainly not surprised that the school has not filed a complaint with the FBI. If there have been "threats" I have no problem with the threats being investigated. However, if Islam is being taught on the tax payers dollar the school is breaking the law and must be closed.

It would be too bad if threats were indeed made, but I'm sceptical. I was a typical self hating white liberal in my radical highschool and college years, true to South Minneapolis form. I found "salvation" for in Islam. I look back now in shame. I was typical of kids that are involved in hip hop and eventually find there way to Islam or some other popular radical movement like that. In something akin to David Horowitz's tranformatiomn in "Radical Son," I found my salvation.

Anyway,I met the other co-founder of the school Hesham Hussein a few times. He died tragically in a car accident in Saudi Arabia this summer. He was involved in alot of interfaith understanding with Jews and Christians. I don't know what he told them in public, but in private when he was just with muslims hes was totally differnt. I rember him going on about how 9/11 was the work of Mossad agents at Dar al Farooq (I hope the FBI has a probe in there) mosque in south Minneapolis. The whole mosque was radical. Hisham Hussein was typical of everybody there. I know he was good friends with Sheik Hatim, who I heard praise the Taliban all the time.(Most of this was pre 9/11 and I know they would deny it to Kaffirs) There was also a white convert there named AL Ghazzali who seemed to go out of his way to memorize every Jewish conspiricy theory. I think all of them were two faced. They would say one thing in their interfaith diolouges and another when amongst muslims.

I only met Asad Azzam in passing, but I'm sure he is alot like Hesham Hussien. I think all of the Islamic groups in Minnesota are radical. They have a moderate shell, but hide a orthodox Whahhbi center. How could they not. They wouldn't be Muslims anymore if they changed. I think alot of these people sit on the board of the Somali and Arab dominated "Fiqh Council of Minnesota." I remember they ran some reformers out of town with threats and slanders. I think everybody involved with the council is radical (at least when in the company of only Muslims).

This guy started a lecture series at Masjid Rahman in Bloomington Minnesota about how Islam was supposed to be democratic. The lectures had about 10 people that showed up, before he fled town. That should show what Muslims really think of democracy. Dar al Farooq (the Wahhabi nexus of Minnesota's Islamic center) seemed to intimidate all other Mosques in conformity.

Anyway, it wouldn't be beyond these jokers to fake some hate crimes to get popular sympathy.

They didn't know how to "operate the flagpole".. LOL I bet they know how to hang people from that flagpole if they ever get the chance.

Yeah, that's why that substitute teacher vividly described having to escort students 4 at a time to the bathroom to perform "ritual washing" prior to an assembly in which a man dressed in white and kneeling on a rug was reciting prayers in Arabic.(All of this happened at 1:30pm, if I recall the story correctly ... anybody know of a school that routinely ends their school day at 1:30??? Didn't think so.)
That's also why the buses didn't even get there til after the "voluntary prayers" were done.
