This spurious claim highlights the limitations of the term "terrorism." Since it describes a tactic, it is much too elastic and lends itself to diverse and even absurd applications. The term "jihadist," on the other hand, is both highly specific and addresses an ideology. And it would bypass silly exchanges like this.
"Hizbullah: Bush is a 'terrorist leader'," from the Jerusalem Post:
One week after US President George W. Bush condemned Hizbullah for its use of terrorism against civilians, the guerilla group lashed back on Sunday, calling the president a "terrorist leader" and welcoming his criticism.
"Every resistance movement in the world should be proud to take criticism from world terrorist leaders, like [US President George W. Bush] and his cadre," a statement issued by the organization read. "Bush's comments are proof that the Lebanese resistance movement is on the right track."
"The whole world knows that the United States poses the gravest threat to peace and world security," the statement added.
In a speech marking the 25th anniversary of the 1983 attack on the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, Bush blasted the Lebanese guerilla group for its use of terrorism against civilians, and urged the international community to follow suit.
"Since the Beirut attack, we and citizens of many countries have suffered more attacks at the hands of Hizbullah and other terrorists, backed by the regimes in Teheran and Damascus, which use terror and violence against innocent civilians," Bush said on April 17. "All nations should condemn such brutal attacks and recognize that the purposeful targeting of civilians is immoral and unjustifiable."
"The whole world knows that the United States poses the gravest threat to peace and world security," the statement added."
Ha Ha! Any other falsehoods you want to add, Terrorist Mohammedan? BTW, I don't want to wear a Hefty Bag, ya dig? YOU wear a Hefty Bag, male Mohammedan!
"The whole world knows that the United States poses the gravest threat to peace and world security," the statement added."
Darcy, the man is absolutely right. The whole world knows the US is indeed the gravest threat to the "peace and security" of a world ruled by Islam.
Now let's see what it does with that knowledge.
I would ask "the whole world" if you believe this man and what he says, then PLEASE stop dealing with the US. Allow us to withdraw our military not only from Iraq but from the former Yugoslavia as well, never to return to either place. Allow us to withdraw from the UN (kick us out, if it makes you feel good) and to remove it from our soil. You don't want to be associated with terrorists, do you? Any land available in Sadr City for the new UN?
Quick!! Is Dhimmi Cuttah still in the Middle East?!
This is a guy he HAS to meet with!
In fact, if Bush is a terrorist then he is one against US.. he sends OUR money to Fatahamas.
He has 'iftar' dinners at the Ramada Inn (White House).. and on and on..
He calls the Creed of Eternal War a 'religion of peace'...
That's Bush the terrorist.. and he unleashes the evil Condhimmi Rice on Israel.. what more.. oh yes, 30,000 SWOdi 'students' per year.. and a wide open border too..
The terrorist Bush is bringing in plenty of terrorists that is certain.
So what if his motive is money and their motive is mahomet.. It's all the same effect on me.
Now that's the pot calling the kettle black.
Keep pushing our buttons, Mr. Hezbullah, and your gonna find out real quick what the term freedom fighter means.
What a bunch of goobs.
"The whole world knows that the United States poses the gravest threat to peace and world security,"
And how many billions does the 'gravest threat' USA give away each year?
You know, if some people were held responsible for their 'unintelligent, provocative and deceitful' remarks, they would starve to death.
Projecting is a common tactic among terrorists and trolls alike.
""All nations should condemn such brutal attacks and recognize that the purposeful targeting of civilians is immoral and unjustifiable."
compare this to Muslim leaders such as Ahmadinejad, "We will kill all of you!!" and "It is the Muslims responsibility to kill you!"
"The whole world knows..."
What he really means by this is the whole world of Dar al-Islam, in which everyone suffers from the same self delusions as he does.
What is so sad about this is that we stand accused not just by the ummah, but by the leftists here in America as well as by the vast hordes of socialist loons across Eurabia, all nodding in agreement.
That's the "whole world" he's talking about, and he's not too far off the mark, I'm afraid.
We will remain derided and condemned out of hand until the day when the world needs us once more, and then we will yet again do the right thing and save the day.
It's what we always do.
God bless America.
I believe the extreme lefties have undermined the war on terror even before 9/11 happened. Hizbullah is just doing a politically correct thing by using it's allies (extreme lefties) in order to focus their attack on Bush rather than what sort of terrorism they are trying to stir up like killing civilians on purpose in order to make this world more of an Islamic state.
"One week after US President George W. Bush condemned Hizbullah for its use of terrorism against civilians,"
Did Bush mean that terrorism against the armed forces is okay ?
"Every resistance movement in the world should be proud to take criticism from world terrorist leaders, like [US President George W. Bush] and his cadre," a statement issued by the organization read. "Bush's comments are proof that the Lebanese resistance movement is on the right track."
Of course the statement doesn't mention Hizbullah's continued survival, and that of the population it draws its members and support from, is proof that the neither the United States nor the Israelis are terrorists.
A few words to the people who allow themselves to be "represented" by groups like Hizbullah:
-If "resistance movements" miscalculate and terrorize either the U.S. or Israel into using that tactic of unrestrained warfare Islamists hold in such high regard to bring conflict to an end, no more statements will be issued from the area. It has happened before. If it happens again it will only quicker and more efficient.
-Of course the leaders of Hizbullah will say you'll all be martyrs and that it's Allah's will. But, demand occasionally that a few of these "leaders" display their own commitment to the cause by martyring themselves in front of you without hurting anyone else. Let them know how motivational that would be, and watch their response.
-Maybe this should be at the top of the list: all the rewards you're promised in paradise are in ample supply here on earth, there's no need to rush that program. All it requires is that you free your women and yourselves to attain it. Help change your culture and your religion, and start enjoying this life before you go rushing to the next. There's no special talent involved in dying, everyone figures it out sooner or later.
We will remain derided and condemned out of hand until the day when the world needs us once more, and then we will yet again do the right thing and save the day.
Don't count on it. The day will come when we will be unable to do what the world wants us to. The day the world needs us once more might be after America itself has been destroyed by those very same dopes that condemn it today.
It's time the US DIDN'T do what the world needs us to do, at least once. Our good deeds don't go unpunished, so we might as well sit on our hands just once and let others figure out the solution.
Europe? You're so much more civilized and sophisticated. You colonized much of the world. Show us what you've got, one more time. Iran and Darfur are waiting for your attention. You dropped the ball in Yugoslavia. You have a chance to redeem yourselves. Give it a try.
