My only complaint with this otherwise forgettable song is that at certain points, the singing is wildly out of pitch...and I am one of those unfortunate souls who is cursed with perfect pitch and an unusual ability to hear very low decibels and very high ones, too. Inherited from the Popster.
At any rate, I think about these words a lot when contemplating the possibility of another Dresden happening. And given the intense desire of those whose religion must never be named, who wish to convert us by any means necessary, I am sure that they have no problem believing that to be cruel IS to be kind.

That was an unfortunate choice of quotation, for the whole business about "God has fixed the time of my death" is perhaps the most Islamic sentiment ever uttered by a figure celebrated in American history. That's what the muhajideen think, and what helps keep them going: that "God has fixed the time of my death."

Stonewall Jackson was a devout Christian and I'm sure he was referencing the BIBLE verse that says something like: "it is appointed unto man once to die..."

It the "bone" is the Koran, then philosophy will have to do, since only by thoughtfully undermining the despotic ideology, through intellectual arguments against its validity, will this tyrannical curse on the mind of millions be lifted.

Yanking it out of their hands will only enrage.

I wouldn't hesitate a second to take a bone - or anything else - from the mouth of my German Shepherd or my Labrador Retriever. In fact, they would happily give up anything to me, if I asked them to.
