Jihad Watch video: Fitna over Fitna

Here's the latest Jihad Watch video from Hot Air, in which I wonder why anyone should be upset about Geert Wilders's Qur'an film.

The Qur'an is responsible for the Murdering Mohammedans.

Not Geert Wilders.

A no-brainer.

The PM of the Netherlands is a moron.

Another no-brainer. Hello!

3rd no-brainer - "Allah" doesn't exist. End of story.

There is no way a person, rational and lucid, could possibly argue with Robert's commentary concerning Wilder film.

Unfortunately, we live in a topsy-turvy world.

I watched the counter-Fitna film Schism.

The editor must have a reading impairement. The film shows that even Christian children have a much better grasp of philosophy and non-violence than just about every Muslim I've ever encountered in debate.

Conclusions:
- Islam, properly absorbed, damages logic and reasoning.
- Christianity is a religion of peace. Islam isn't.

when it comes to Muslims, listen to what they say and watch what they do....with deadly clarity, they generally do just what the Koran tells them to do...the gist of the Muslim clerics speeches...well you know..."Kill them where you find them" ...yep ...the Peaceful Religion of Islam...

Thanks Robert for another excellent brief discussion on the subject of Islam/Koran/jihad.

My favorite nutroot told me triumphantly that 'Schism', the Sowdi version of Fitna attacking Judaism/Christianity, is just like Fitna, and that you can twist scriptures to your liking.

Its mind-boggling how shallow these people are.

But the command to kill Hittites, the Gir’gashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Per’izzites, the Hivites, and the Jeb’usites, in the bible is obsolete, it just so happens that there are none of them left to kill, whereas the Koran and the Islamic scriptures demand that we all be killed if we don't submit.

But you can't reason with these A-soles, they shake it off like a dog shakes off the rain.

Brilliant discourse and analysis, Robert. Thanks, more than I could put into words, to you and the brave Hugh Fitzgerald for all you do.

As always, a pleasure to watch Robert: Sharp, Appropriate and Accurate!

"The film shows that even Christian children have a much better grasp of philosophy and non-violence than just about every Muslim I've ever encountered in debate."

I must agree with this comment. I've talked with Muslim university students and found some to be strangely irrational in their views of the world.

Logic seems to escape the Islamic worldview. This combined with calls to violence against "the other" makes for a dangerous people.

James, I believe there may be a _direct_ link from the lack of reasoning, logic and philosophy to the Islamic tendency to violence.

When people can't even express themselves or reach consensus through a logical process, anger is a very normal response.

By implication, teaching these basic qualities to the Islamic world might be useful.
