When you ignore Islam's "shenagins", you only give it more credence. You give it respect by not calling the people on what they are doing. You are giving them tacit approval.
The best way to DISRESPECT Islam is to ignore it. And does Islam need to be disrespected! Act like it doesn't exist. This means not answering the phone when Muslim leaders call. It means not letting them into your country. When someone says sharia, ask them: do you mean Sharon? The best way to drive them nuts is to treat them the way they deserve to be treated - as non-existent.

You and I don't have the luxury of ignoring Islam when its adherents will blow up their (and our) neighborhood. Our leaders are the ones who need to take action. They are the ones who need to resist the natural impulse to help out Muslim nations after a natural disaster. They are the ones who have to be willing to stand up to the likes of nutjob and his ilk. They are the ones who write the laws and allow Islam to dominate our lives to the point where we cannot express ourselves. They shouldn't need to be reminded that sharia is antithetical to freedom. Can you imagine an Islamic version of "Jesus Christ, Superstar" that pokes fun at Mohammed? I can't. We can't even connect Islam with terrorism, despite the empirical evidence showing that is the case. This is what our leaders (at all levels) have done and what we have allowed them to do.
