Al-Qaeda tells jihadists: Don't attack Yemeni police; they're not "tools in the hands of the crusaders"

No kidding. "Al-Qaeda urges attacks on US interests in Yemen," from Deutsche Presse Agentur, May 26:

Sanaa (Yemen), May 26 (DPA) The Al Qaeda terrorist network asked Monday its supporters in Yemen to limit their attacks to “effective” operations against US and foreign interests in the Arab country. In a statement posted on the Islamic al-Ikhlas network website, Al Qaeda has purportedly urged its loyalists to “bring back the days of attacks, such as the one on the USS destroyer Cole and the French ship.”
“Those operations are bound to have an effect on people now,” the network said in the statement.
Al Qaeda was behind attacks on the USS destroyer Cole in 2000 while it was harboured in the Yemeni port of Aden and the French tanker Limburg off the coast of Yemen in 2002.
The network advised its supporters to focus on US targets and to avoid attacks on other targets for the time being.
“Targeting a house of (President) Ali Salih will not serve the purpose. Neither will the killing of a Yemeni soldier in a Yemeni village,” al-Qaeda said.

It's bad for business. Stick to infidel targets.

The Yemeni and Iraqi police forces are not similar because the Iraqi police serve as tools in the hands of the crusaders, the network said.
Al Qaeda sanctions attacks on Iraq’s security forces and members of government and administration, saying they serve US occupation forces.

Unites States policy makers need to know that the Ummah will never ever be your allies. You cannot count on them. Their prime directive is Islam, the Koran, Hadiths, and all other jurisprudence of Islam. Their cooperation will be minimal to the extent they get Loads of Money and technology from the United States. Other than that it is back to business to promulgate Islam and destruction to the infidels.

Unfortunately for us, they are getting smarter.

I hope I live long enough to see Bin-Laden and al-Zawahiri bite the dust..sure there will be replacements, but these two need to be eliminated..

Wouldn't want to hurt any of Bin Laden's Yemeni family members, either.

The Revolving-Door Prison for Jihadis is Yemen's most prominent attribute in the
"War On Terror" (or, more accurately, "The War Against Islamic Imperialism").

More predator drones, fewer AQ.

Spot on Marisol.

a- revolving door, very accurate description of the repeated escapes, lax prison sentences and pardons.

b- keep in mind, all the USS Cole bombers have been pardoned by President Saleh and are walking free today

c- the immunity of Yemeni security forces from al-Qaeda attack is a symptom of the growing jihadization of Yemen

d- the Yemeni military has a hand in training and facilitating the Saudi and Yemeni jihaddis going to Iraq

e- bin Laden needs Yemen as a base and haven

Yemen - What a loser country.

Females don't dare walk about without veils and sheets - they'll be killed by the males.

Is there an effective way to deny them these targets by:

- closing our embassies and bringing our people home
- telling any and all civilians who do business with Yemen that they are on their own and can count on ZERO help from our government if they are ever in trouble.

How much money do Western governments that use Yemeni ports contribute to their economy? The same goes for the embassies. Unless the staffs are limited to each nation's own citizens (including cleaning staff, garage help, etc.), then surely closing embassies and consulates will pull still more Western money out of Yemen, leaving the Arabs to fill the hole they dug themselves into.

So what if it will "drive them into the arms of the jihadists"? Whom will they attack - each other?

Why should we care about the "innocent" Yemenis who will be hurt by our withdrawal? They don't care about us. What goes around comes around. Al Qaeda couldn't operate in their environs without their implicit or explicit consent. If you want proof, look at the Sunni tribal areas of Iraq. Once those people decided al Qaeda wasn't welcome and they wanted it gone then progress was made. Before that, al Qaeda was allowed to operate with impunity while the people of the area feigned innocence.

Yemen, a land of Skunks, run by Skunks, and no Skunk feels unwanted. So kind of them to raise their Tails and make there presence known.

Is there no place left where an Infidel get a breath of fresh air?

one of the last things Al-Qaeda needs to worry about is the Yemen Police.
