Dubai, 23 May (AKI) - A senior al-Qaeda leader, Abu Yahya al-Libi, claims that the terror organisation has stopped the expansion of the church in the Arab world."If it wasn't for our heroes, today we would have many churches in the Arabian Peninsula, as we have already seen with the opening of one in Qatar," said al-Libi in a video message posted to Islamist websites.
He was referring to the Catholic church inaugurated in the Qatari capital, Doha, in March this year.
Al-Libi also talked about the "danger" posed by inter-religious dialogue between the Arab Ulema or Muslim religious leaders and their Christian counterparts.
The 40-minute message entitled, "The moderation of Islam and the moderation of defeat", seeks to refute the notion of a moderate Islam.
"At this moment there is a crusader campaign against Islam and that has succeeded in corrupting the personalities in our religion," al-Libi said.
"Changes in Islamic thought are happening in particular in the most important Arab countries. With the excuse of moderation, they are corrupting our faith."
Here again we see the jihadist claim to represent Islamic purity.

It is impossible for Islamists to keep the taqqiya consistent. Even when they lie (which is usually indicative when their lips are moving) they can't help but speak the truth.
In most Mulsim dominated countries, the churches of other religions have either been entirely removed from the planet or are in danger of being removed from the planet. Yet, as we watch history unfold, no one is objecting to the constant barrage of mosque building in non Muslim lands. Like the AIDs virus which attacks the host from within, Islam silently attacks from within the host countries that allow Muslim immigration.
If it wasn't for our traitors (voluntary dhimmis), today citizens could freely choose their religion in the Arabian peninsula. Instead we have politicians, business people, and celebrities vacationing without a care in the world in these bigoted Arab fiefdoms.

would that be the danger of peace and harmony?.
I think it is because of Al-Qaeda and similar groups that Christians are regaining toeholds in the Islamic world. They've not only awakened Christians in the West to what Islam is really about, but also are in the process of driving many Muslims to looking for something better.
First, Spiderman comics, then Barbi Dolls and THEN - oh, no! Churches!

I'm with you but you're going to be looking for a very very long time.
To be honest with you, they can have the Middle East. MINUS Eretz Israel of course.
Just GET OUT of the West and take their filthy mosks and madrassas with them!
A Greater Israel and the retrun of Greek areas AND all of Cyprus to Greece should be only a small part of the reparations due us all for the damages we have all suffered from islam so far.
