Of course Iran does not recognize Israel as a "nation" so nuking Israel would be OK.

Since the mullas do not fear their own destruction the West only has one option, levy a threat to destroy the myth that animates the Islamic ideology. I am referring of course to what we could call the "Tancredo doctrine". Israel cannot confront Iran alone in an all out war so the survival of Israel must depend on the participation in any conflict with Iran of all the superpowers and then some. The only way to guarantee that participation would be to force the uprising of the entire Muslim world against everyone else on the planet and thus compel the non-Muslim world to earnestly defend itself. The easiest and most certain way to do that for Israel is to target Mecca and Medina and possibly Qom with their own nukes and thereby utterly disrupt the Islamic Day of Judgment myth by destroying the script. They could also easily level the structures on the Temple Mount with bulldozers but that would be an anticlimactic footnote in the annals of history.

I take that final comment as a sign that HRC's election will be regarded as a sign of weakness if not implicit/imminent surrender.

I bet coming from a woman, that kind of remark gives Beasty Boy Ahmadinijad bad dreams. For a woman to threaten an Islamic country is unheard of and a great offense to Allah. I would like to hear John McCain give public assurance that we support Israel and guarantee her survival, should the Iranians or their proxies' actions directly threaten her; those actions are ultimately a threat carried out against us. I would actually trust that McCain--unlike Hillary--unequivocally meant it.

Strange? Not really. Many of the entertainment elite are so blinded by hatred for Bush they are aiding and abetting the terrorists, not concerned about what the rest of us might think or have to say about these issues. In another day this would have been called treason and dealt with appropriately.
