Non stop violence and threats. Got get those infidels and destroy and purge then lands of all life and creativity. Kashmir and Jammu ancient Hindu and Vedic lands with pristine beauty has became a violent hell hole. Another example of what Islam does it leaves places desolate and with a stench of death suffering and misery. Islam hates life, creativity, hates women and Humanity. It even hates all life from plants to Animals. No wonder it originated from the barren wastelands of the Saudi desert. It is a ideology deprived of love and life.

And if India completely concedes Kashmir and Jammu, the muslims will want more. So hang tough India and don't give them a damn thing.

My solution for the Taliban/Al Qaeda problem is to follow them from Afghanistan through Pakistan until we meet the Indian army on the other side.

It worked in Berlin in 1945, and it would work in Pakistan in 2008 if the respective governments were to have the same resolve to actually win the war. And then worry about hearts and minds after they have been thoroughly defeated, as in unconditional surrender.

This group need to re-name themselves to United Against Everything Not Muslim Council. Did they not get the Memo. Jihad is not allowed.

Or United Criminal Council.

A few thoughts.

First: what does 'lashkar' mean? Lashkar-e-Toiba - can we have a plain English translation?

Similarly, we all know that 'mujahideen' means 'jihadis, people conducting jihad' but what does 'hizbul' mean? Is it 'hizb' , 'group, party, organisation', like in 'hizb ut tahrir' and 'hizb allah'? Am I right in thinking 'Hizbul Mujahideen' means 'Party of the Jihadis', or, in colloquial English, 'Jihad Gang', or, 'Jihad Mob', or 'Jihad Outfit'?

Syed Salahuddin's two names could also do with a bit of explanation, for newbies to the site.

Syed, if I am correct, means the person claims to be a descendant of the 'prophet'?

And Salahuddin - was this person named in honour of the ruthless medieval Kurdish Muslim war boss, Saladin?

My other thought: we 'regulars' on the site need to remember that there's a lot that we've learned, and now take for granted, that new visitors won't necessarily know. We need to share that knowledge, in order to explain the way we're reading the news stories.

For example. The final paragraph above -

must be understood in the light of the many Muslim scriptures that forbid Muslims to genuinely befriend, or permanently ally themselves with, non-Muslims {this principle, in historic Muslim practice, seems to apply both in person-to-person relationships, and also in relationships between Muslim and non-Muslim polities}.

A few absolutely typical passages:

Qur’an 3:26 “You [Allah] exalt whom You please and debase and humiliate whom You will. Those who believe should not take unbelievers as their friends…guard yourselves from them.… Allah commands you to beware of Him.”


Qur’an 3:118 “Believers! Take not into your intimacy those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, and Christians). They will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire your ruin.

A different translation of the same passage reads:
"Believers, do not make friends with any but your own people. They [the unbelievers] will spare no pains to corrupt you. They desire nothing but your ruin. Their hatred is evident from what they utter with their mouths, but greater is the hatred which their breasts conceal." The Imrans 3:118.

And from the Hadith (Sayings):

Bukhari:V5B59N572 “O Muslims, take not My enemies as friends, offering them kindness when they reject Allah, the Prophet Muhammad, and his Qur’an. And whoever does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray. You have come out to fight in My Cause, seeking My acceptance so do not be friendly with them, even in secret.” [60:1]

From the canonical 'Life' of 'Mohammed':
Ibn Ishaq verse 231 - “Muslims are one ummah (community) to the exclusion of all {non-Muslim} men. Believers are friends of one another to the exclusion of all outsiders.”

In other words - the Hizbul Mujahideen leader is angry with the Pakistani government because he thinks that in its dealings with the Hindu-majority secular state of India it is compromising the Muslim principle whereby one must show friendship and loyalty ONLY within the Ummah, and not make friends, in any way shape or form, with non-Muslim persons or polities.

Brilliant! Clear, succinct and logical. That is why they will never ever ally with the west. Or any other non Muslim country. NEVER. While our leaders make deals calls them our allies. But as you pointed out and made those new to the site the precedence established in the Islamic jurisprudence is where all their acts and behavior originates from.

Pakistani government is indulging in pure taqquiya if anything else. What else is bewildering that a nation is willing to discuss peace right after 80 of its citizens were dismembered by the jihadists last week. Incredulous display of lack of balls.

Haha yeah its been like 2 years since i've actively posted here. Being a sophmore electrical engineering student leaves me with little time for blog surfing :D. but i do check this place out as frequently as i can!

How well-informed are your fellow Infidel students and your teachers? Clueless? Dhimmified? Blissfully ignorant?

Keep your eyes open - e.g. see what's happening as regards university activities, student on-campus organisations, student newspapers, what sorts of posters go up on walls advertising what kinds of activities.

Yep campus is abuzz with them. I thought i had seen the last of them when i left England. Right now i'm at this large mid-western uni with a nationally known Engineering school. Campus filled with typically left of centre, Obama supporting types. Me room mate last year was a Muslim. Was a nice lad, kept to himself, went to mosque occasionally and kept to his Muslim STudents Association mates lol. He did frown at my frat boy behaviour though!

As for the faculty and administration, i'd say semi dhimmified. University Housing here actually reimburses Muslim students for missed meals during Ramadan. Usually when you live on the dorms here, you buy a meal plan which gives you set number of meals per week. And if you fail to use them all in that week, you basically lose the money on the meals you paid for but didnt eat. But not so, if you are Muslim during Ramadam, you get reimbursed for the meals you dont use!

Oh well thats life i guess. A Jewish group protested, so instead of making it fair for all, they decided to include kosher food on the menu too! Thats competitive entitlement for you!
