Canadian parliamentary committee hears: Jihadists crucifying children to terrorize their Christian parents into fleeing Iraq

"It's part of a systemic -- and very effective -- campaign to ethnically cleanse the area of any non-Muslims."

Islamic Tolerance Alert. "Iraqi Christians are targets of cleansing, committee told: One in three a refugee, but Chaldo-Assyrians want to remain in country," by Jennifer Green for The Ottawa Citizen, June 18 (thanks to Nicolei):

Muslim militants are crucifying children to terrorize their Christian parents into fleeing Iraq, a parliamentary committee studying the persecution of religious minorities heard yesterday.

Since the war began in 2003, about 12 children, many as young as 10, have been kidnapped and killed, then nailed to makeshift crosses near their homes to terrify and torment their parents.

One infant was snatched, decapitated, burned and left on his mother's doorstep, the committee was told.

Filham Isaac, speaking for the Nineveh Advocacy Committee, told the human rights committee that Iraqi Christian churches were bombed, clergy murdered and unveiled Iraqi women raped or scarred with acid.

It's part of a systemic -- and very effective -- campaign to ethnically cleanse the area of any non-Muslims, he said. Chaldean and Assyrian Christians, known as Chaldo-Assyrians, were once the largest Christian minority in Iraq. They are also the oldest, descendants of ancient Mesopotamians who adopted Christianity in the first century....

"These acts of violence against innocents violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith. "

Bush certainly got that one wrong! I would like to think that he and the American public have learned the real truth about Islam...

Bush also allowed large numbers of Muslim immigrants....STRIKE TWO...

Bush certainly got that one wrong!

Wrong? Bush got it damn right!
Why would Bush not sell-out whatever he has to, to please his masters in Riyadh? If you think Bush or any politician runs for election to serve the people? See this: http://ourcaucus.com/
Votes are only a means to big money. Now that Bush has American votes, is it any surprise he sells Americnas out to anyone with a petro-dollar or a peso? Why would Bush not pay-back his financers from Riyadh and lobbists be they in Riyadh / US / Mexico or anywhere else? Makes perfect sense, except to foolish Americnas who vote their candidates to a public office, thinking the candidates will work for Americans.

What is the REAL lesson here?

It is that these monsters who are murdering children are the people who will be running Iraq if the proprietors of this web-site and other proponents of early withdrawal have their way.

In a same world, western countries would offer refugee status to all persecuted Christians, deport all muslims with criminal records, and their families, back to their countries of origin, and let islamic countries stew in their own juices.

The world has gone mad!
How could anyone do such a terrible thing to those innocents! Then they want their satanic, evil cult to be protected from world criticism at the UN under the banner of "human rights". They have the audacity to talk about "crossing red lines"!
What rights were afforded those Iraqi children?

Can anyone doubt the evil of Islam? These crimes should be recorded in every media source of every country, but they will not be. Still we shall hear the sickening whitewash - until the same things begin to happen in the West. Will people wake up at that point? I feel it may be too late. But perhaps I am just a pessimist.

MARANATHA

The world has not gone mad. This is how the world is. Period.

People have been saying 'maranatha' for 21 centuries or so and yet He has not returned.

So, maybe it's time for those who are fixated on a date no one can foretell, and all others who sit around waiting for everyone else to wake up, to wake up themselves.

While there is no record of children being crucified by Muslms in the West, equally horrific and barbaric offenses are committed here all too frequently.

How is the death of one Muslim child on a cross in Iraq different than the murder of Amina and Sarah Said or Methel Dayem in the US? Is it the use of a cross as a weapon that finally trips someone's righteous rage?

It's not that they want to kill Christians and Jews. It's that they want to kill you and me. We must all take this war personally. Or we will lose it.

How is the death of one Muslim child on a cross in Iraq different

It doesn't make it "worse", it just makes the perpetrators religious agenda more perspicuous and undeniable based on unabashed adherence to the Qur'anic antecedant:

005.033
YUSUFALI: The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

No argument can be made of this being the work of crazies, an act of rage, just sectarian or tribal conflicts, etc. This calculated obedience to the Qur'anic mandate. These killers were lucid, sane, and methodical and not motivated by relationship rage. Edward Said might not have killed you. These people would.

Read Yaser Said (heading for more coffee).

Point taken, CC.

And the American media wonders WHY our soldiers are committing suicide?
Take a "nice" boy out of the sanity of the "bitter" small town in the US and send him to a place where this kind of thing is done all the time and he hears nothing but silence from his own country.
What do we expect the mental state to be when they get home to a country that has taken a great leap back in time while they were gone.
Where something that was done and over with, all this racist crap, is alive and well in the media.

From the article:

"Coptic Christians from Egypt had much the same story, with young girls regularly kidnapped, raped or forced to marry Muslim men. Despite these difficulties, there is no mechanism to claim refugee status in the beleaguered countries. Sam Fanous, of the Canadian Coptic Association, told the MPs that the Canadian Embassy in Cairo needed Canadian, not area Muslim, staff to evaluate refugee claims."

No kidding.

Aunt Bea; having investigated many suicides by soldiers, I'm not convinced there is currently a nexus between those independant acts and any horror committed by an Iraqi 'gainst an Iraqi.

Cornelius pounded the same tired drum:

these monsters who are murdering children are the people who will be running Iraq if the proprietors of this web-site and other proponents of early withdrawal have their way.

These monsters are the people who, in the middle of the much vaunted "surge", are currently running Iraq. These monsters are the people who will be running Iraq if we stay there 100, or 1000, years. Do you honestly think that these monsters can decapitate children and crucify them and leave them for their parents to find them, but if we just stay there another few months, we can turn them into peace-loving upstanding Westernized citizens who want democracy and freedom and who will protect the rights of minorities?

My G*d.

SPECIAL GUEST: "These monsters are the people who, in the middle of the much vaunted "surge", are currently running Iraq."

Absolute nonsense. These are the actions of the insurgents, trying to overthrow the government currently in power.

My God.

Us troops today are being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan just to support one bunch of Muslims who wants sharia laws against another bunch of Muslims who also want sharia laws. Have we forgotten that Afghan - Abdul Rahman faced the death sentence imposed by the Afghan court for his apostasy from Islam?

Us troops should withdraw to the Niniveh plains in NW Iraq (further from Basra and Baghdad) to secure an enclave for the Iraqi Christians that the news article said that Iraqi Christians hoped for.

US then should stand aside and allow the civil war between the Shiites and Sunnis and the Kurds to be the black hole to suck in terrorists from all sides of the divide from all over the world. The world will have less terrorists as a result and that's not a bad thing. Sunni Saudis and the Shiites Iranians will be fighting the war by proxy and they will have less money to finance their da'wa in western world and universities.

Oil? The Sunnis and the Shiites will pump out more oil to sell to finance the war. During the Saddam versus the Ayatollah war, the price of oil actually stabilized and because Iraq and Iranians needed to sell more oil to finance the war.
