A teenage Christian who had an abortion to avoid conflict with her Muslim boyfriend's family died a fortnight after the procedure.A-level student Manon Jones, 18, aborted the pregnancy at six weeks but became increasingly ill in the days following the termination She told family members she felt light-headed and was bleeding heavily, an inquest heard today.
Miss Jones, who studied and lived in Bristol, returned home alone from a holiday abroad as her condition deteriorated. The teenager, from south Caernarvon, in Wales, booked a taxi and admitted herself to Southmead Hospital, in Bristol, on June 23, 2005. She died four days later.
Speaking at Flax Bourton Village Hall today, Miss Jones's tearful mother Llywela, from Bangor, in North Wales, told the inquest her 'bubbly' daughter was a keen member of the local church's youth club and regularly attended chapel.
Mrs Jones said: 'Manon found it very hard to make a decision to terminate the pregnancy. She wanted to keep the child but there were difficult circumstances which she had to consider with her boyfriend's family and their Muslim religion.'...
In some cases the honor vice pays to virtue comes at a very high price.

It's sad that she died, but the good news is that the Muslim boyfriend still has his other girlfriends (or are they wives?), and they can still have his children. So, it's not really that big of a loss, inshallah.
So, was she abroad when the conception occured? Where does the "boyfriend" live? Did she have the abortion procedure in the U.K., or somewhere where the doctors refuse to wash their hands due to religious belief?

it follows that this incident was not covered in most of India's media. Had the victim been a Muslim, all national and international media would have reported it.
Can't say I feel too sorry for her, nor do I for any infidel-who-should-have-known-better. And make no mistake, an "A-level" student and regular church attendee should have known better.
Of course, the way the school systems are deteriorating and the current level of apostasy in most UK churches, maybe she didn't know better after all.
That must have been one really bungled abortion.

Yet another example of ever so moral Muslims,using western non-Muslim women as sexual play things for their own sexual gratification and then discarding them like trash when they are done. This Muslim is another loser, who views non-Muslims as good enough to bonk and yet dirty and unworthy of any kind of obligation.

They are Quranically sanctioned rapists and monsters and thieves of dignity and honor, one of things that shocked me about learning about Muhammed and Islam is the instituationalized rape in Islam of non-Muslim women.(Not that Muslim women get treated well either) Pretty much every Muslim military victory ends up in a Quran and Sunnah sanctioned rape orgy.This girl was not this little creeps girlfriend as normal westerners understand the concept, but was his concubine, and when it became embarrassing, well the mess for the little prince had to be cleaned up, it sadly just happened to cost the concubine her life. Western women and non-Muslim women are just trophies for Muslims, who imagine in their sick minds, they are humiliating the enemy by taking advantage of the enemies' women.

difficult circumstances? relationships with Muslim men carry too much baggage..you may have to stop seeing your Christian friends, you may have to stop going to your Church, you may have to stop seeing your own family, you may have to start wearing the awful Muslims womens clothing, you may have to submit to every whim and demand of your male boss, you may face the threat of an honor killing should you in any way step out of line, you may have to give up your rock n roll cd's, your favorite dvd's, your favorite clothes, your favorite perfume, you may have to learn the Qur'an, you would be forced to give your children Muslim names, and you should prepare yourself for the day when you are told to wear a suicide belt and to go out and blow up a trainload of people who have refused to do what you have done.

It's bad enough when women with no underpinnings of values - be they Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, whatever - let this happen to them.
