The top picture is a side shot of the Bow Central Mosque. You can see the blue graffiti on the bridge pillar across the street from the mosque.
The second picture shows the graffiti itself, possibly painted with a crude stencil, on the pillar. Does the graffiti come from someone connected with the mosque? Not necessarily. But mosquegoers must see it every time they exit the mosque. They could paint it over. If they wanted to.

I guess the painted red spots are supposed to represent blood spatters, just in case there was any ambiguity as to whether the jihad "solution" would be a spiritual struggle or a violent one.

I don't know, guys. I'm beginning to think something like this is true. Jihad IS the only solution for Israel: Israeli jihad, not Muslim.
Again, confused by the mixed messages.
According to most of our Politically Correct leaders (first clue right there something is wrong), Jihad is not the motivation for the people trying to wipe out Israel... they are all just common criminals and troublemakers (who know their own holy writings well enough that Western "dialogue" isn't going to change their minds, when all they have to do is read the filthy screeds printed in their 'holy" books). After all, Foggy Bottom and NuLabour said so.
Also, weren't we all brainwashed, I mean taught, that Jihad is just a "peaceful, inner struggle?" I guess that would mean these super-tolerant Muslims at this mosque are all hoping Israel can collectively read some self-help books and improve upon their personal failings, while singing 'kumbaya' with the Hindus (who have been experiencing their own jihad for decades now, too).
I wonder if any of these mosque attendees ever clap with glee as they watch videos of multiple car-bombs going off in wonderful moments of peaceful inner-struggle personal realizations for self-improvement, right in the middle of crowded marketplaces? What a joyous religion they have, surely.

You know, I live 3 hours away so it's not too practical but here's what I'd do:
Stand there with some paint on a Friday prayer-time and offer to let some Muslims join with me in painting over it. It would be interesting to see how many would.
It would require a stand of sorts to be made - you'd have to say to your 'community' that you reject exterminationism etc. A small step but well worth getting on Youtube. Any East-enders out there want to give it a try? - if you did I'd even come done from Sheffield and join in.

I'm much, much further away than you are, so all I can do is offer advice.
You mentioned youtube. It is essential that if you and some good mates do undertake this small act of urban cleanup and consciousness-raising, you have some friends (more than one, and a couple at a discreet distance with speedy transport available) discreetly videoing everything that happens.
