If they can tell us the truth about the color and make of his car, as if that matters, why won't they tell the truth about the religion which inspired the torching of the man who owns it?

It is interesting that the article specifies that the victim was Hindi and (albeit not directly) that the aggressors were Muslims, rather than using the customary politically correct designation "Asian". Perhaps the UK is waking up to the fact that "Asian" Hindus are as much victims of "Asian" Muslims as everybody else (Christian, Jew, or Buddhist, black or white) and have been for centuries.

Note from the link that this is the THIRD such attack in a WEEK! Although they do not say the other two were the work of muslims it would be interesting to know if it was or if other minorities going in for this sort of thing.

When I saw the report yesterday in the local paper the Newham Recorder from the victim and his father's names I didn't take them to be Hindus.

The assailants were "released on bail". Just what does one have to do in the UK to get locked up. It is difficult to imagine a more horrific thing to do to someone. If he does not die in agoony from shock and infection he is likely to be grossly disfigured and require multiple surgeries. Bail my arse.

1. The prisons are full.

I keep pushing for proof of the existence of Allah but that is about the most uncomfortable thing to discuss because it indirectly reflects on all faiths. The Laws of Manu are Smriti, ie. they are not really important in Hinduism, and can be superceded or overruled by other works. The Srutis (Vedas and Upanishads) are much more important. In contempary Hinduism, the Laws of Manu are not really important, indeed, many Hindu leaders would say so.

Contrast this with the Quran and Hadith, which are for eternity to be followed by Muslims. The Muslim law texts are less important than the Quran, but I think they are more important to Muslims than the Laws of Manu are to contemporary Hindus.

What I meant to say (not clearly enough) is that the subjugation of women is encouraged in the Quran and Hadith, as well as other Muslim (law) texts.

Muslims have shown over and over again, as in this case, that they lack human empathy. That's why they can pour petrol onto an innocent man and set him alight. That's why one of them can mow down a roomful of seminary students in Jerusalem and the Muslim street dances with joy. This sort of thing does not happen in Judeo-Christian society. If it does it's an aberration. From a civilized perspective, Muslims act with horrible cruelty. These perpetrators have committed a most inhuman act. Yet the British authorities have released them on bail. The family of the young man must be suffering in the worst way. Yet they probably will not attempt to exact revenge.
