Honour-related violence is rampant across the country, according to a new study by Sveriges Radio.Nearly 60 percent of the country’s social services have helped victims of honour violence or those threatened with honour violence to hide themselves.
75 percent of the country’s social services answered a survey from Sveriges Radio. Seven of ten responded that they had dealt with cases involving honour-related violence....
Sweden? I'm just incredulous. Sweden.

We need some new terminolgoy for this war.
"Honor violence" or "honor killing" hardly suffices when Muslims are busy slaughtering women and girls.
"Militant" hardly suffices when Muslim cowards hide behind civilians and deliberately target civilians to gain advantage.
Terms such as "non-Muslim" or "infidel" hardly suffice, as if Muslims are the measure of what is normal, or as if our myriad beliefs are "unbelief" and their sinister filth of Islam is somehow equated as true "belief". Referring to ourselves as "non-Muslims" is akin to referring to ourselves as "non-murderers" or "non-Nazis". How preposterous; "We non-murderes all think...", or "We non-Nazis want to say..."
We must never allow the heinous system of Islam, or the innumerable perversions, inversions and barbarities of the Muslims to become the yardstick by which anything on our side is measured. Ever.
These cavemen and their ludicrous incompetent harrowing disgusting society are certainly not the measure of us or our society. The perverted filth of their so-called "belief" is certainly not the measure of our belief and faith.
That's an astonishing statistic. They will probably search for root-causes in traditional Swedish culture. Perhaps a gap between rich and poor? Honor killings could happen to anybody, of course.
They will probably sweep it under the rug cause no right thinking person wants a poor minority to feel bad and lose their self esteem.
They don't assimilate, they irritate. There must be a lot of wayward young muslimah's in Sweden, if honor violence (killings?) is that prevalent.
Maybe this means Islam is losing it's grip on it's children, who are attracted to western amenities...

I am an Englishwoman living in the US, I am so frustrated with the lack of awareness of the creeping threat by Muslims to our countries.
The Trojan horses are everwhere,are we really that stupid? What do you all do in your daily lives? My family thinks I am really obsessed with this so I do not talk about things as much as I would like to.It is OK talking to like minded people who can clearly see the threat but it is the ones who can't see that I want to reach . I am tired of being outraged in my mind, need to take action to make a difference.

I think you are just being a little paranoid. I don't see any jihads in my area. Maybe you're just over reacting. EVERYONE wants peace. Why look how peaceful the French are now that they've laerned their lesson.
I would suggest you not resist them otherwise you may have to make changes to your lifestyle.
To us here in the states, what goes on over there should be none of our business. As a true liberal minded thinker EVERYONE has only good thoughts and cares about each other.

Even my husband says I "go on about it", and he has a basic understanding of the threat. So I don't talk too much about it at home, or anywhere else for that matter. But as Darcy says, we are the smart ones. Maybe someday the rest of the world will wake up.

This is astonishing--in a country that is only 4% Muslim.
Violence against women--not just "honor violence" is way up in Sweden. Fjordman estimates that 65% to 70% of rapes of Swedish women are committed by Muslim men. According to Gates of Vienna, rape cases in Sweden have *quadrupled* over the last 20 years, largely because of Muslim immigration.
In neighboring Norway, professor of social anthropology Unni Wikan said that Norwegian women "must adapt to the multicultural society around them". In other words, in free, democratic, Norway, they must adopt Muslim norms or risk being sexually assaulted.
It is estimated that two-thirds of rape cases in the capital, Oslo, are commited by Muslim men. Muslims make up just 3% of the national population. How much worse is it likely to become if Muslim population reaches double-digits?
Mullah Krekar, Norway's undeportable jihadist mouthpiece, has an answer for this--he claims Muslims will soon reach 30% of the population. "You will not change us", he claims, "we will change you."
Let's hope, for the sake of all scandinavian women, Muslim and non-Muslim, that we prove him wrong.
