Jumping on the Litigation Jihad bandwagon. "Iran threatens to sue countries damaging its nuclear reputation," from YNet News, June 5:
Iran is threatening to sue countries that it says have damaged its reputation and pushed to have UN Security Council involvement in its nuclear program.
It is also accusing the US of pressuring the International Atomic Energy Agency to base its latest probe of Iran's nuclear program on fake evidence suggesting Tehran has tried to make nuclear arms.
The comments were made Thursday to the 35-nation board of the IAEA by Ali Ashgar Soltanieh, Iran's chief delegate to the agency.
Last week the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) issued an unusually strongly worded report saying Iran may be withholding information needed to establish whether it tried to make nuclear arms, said Monday in.
The tone of the language suggesting that Tehran continues to stonewall the agency — the UN nuclear monitor — revealed a glimpse of the frustration felt by IAEA investigators stymied in their attempts to gain full answers to suspicious aspects of Iran's past nuclear activities.
IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei said on Monday that Iran appears to be holding back information needed to clarify intelligence allegations that it secretly studied how to design nuclear weapons, adding that it was a "matter of serious concern".
Iran says the material is forged but has not backed up its denials with evidence "Iran has not yet agreed to implement all the transparency measures required to clarify this cluster of allegations and questions," ElBaradei said.
In Sharia law, such lawsuits could not be pursued since the plaintiffs would be busy killing the very infidels that they sued.
Isn't this much better?
"Iran threatens to sue .... "
Oh yeah? Well, ImANut can be taken before a British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal for his genocidal hate speech because neither he, nor the claimant, have to live there.
Iran threatening to sue over their good name? Irony thy name is Iran.
Now this is TOO bizarre that they actually think they can do this. Can they?? Can I sue Iran for hate speak because I am offended by their rantings?
Give them another shovel....
What reputation? Iran has yet to master technology we developed 67 years ago.
Ahmadinnerjacket, how will you and your assclown thugs be able to sue for damaging your nuclear reputation when your nuclear program will soon be just a pile of rubble?
The dreaded "Strongly Worded Report" from the UN.
That'll bring em around. /sarc
HAAAHAAHHHHAAAAA!!! WHAT A JOKE!! LOL!!!
Could he BE any more backwards? He wants to sue over something that HE generated? Lord, I can't stop laughing! Yeah, take it to the Kangaroo Court with Captain Kangaroo as your attorney.
Whatever defense you and your attorneys can conjor over this matter, will be nothing compared to what will come out of your lying and malicious mouth on Judgement Day; and whatever judgement befalls you, Hockmad, I want a front row seat, because I would love to hear your lame defense before God. No attorney will be able to defend you then.
Iran has ruined its own reputation, but I have a suggestion for the Iranians to recoup what has been lost: Go back to Zoroastrianism. It is a much more enlightened faith than Islam and is of Persian origin. Iran and the entire world would be far better off with Magi in Iran instead of mullahs.
Iran's fear of loss of reputation is the last thing they should worry about. when McCain gets in, it will bomb, bomb, bomb iran! back to the stone age for the mullahs!
On the legal level not much of a case.
But on the other hand to sue Iran over the loss of American life in Iraq and Afghanistan because of the arming, supplying, and training by Iran. Now that is a case.
If the American goverment will not take up that case then maybe the families of the fallen and private contractors will.
Sounder, are you referring to this??

Very annoying story...
Sue a country?
What do you do if they entire country refuses to take the warrant, do you chase it all over the carpark.
What if the country refuses to turn up, do you arrest it?
Little Adolph with the deer eyes over there in Tehran must be watching and taking lessons from the kooks over at CAIR, and the methods they use when attempting to deal with their truth telling critics.
I am hoping for one or more of three things.
1. a force 8/ force 9 temblor in Iran, which will reduce their little science project to smithereens (earthquakes of that magnitude don't leave ANYTHING standing, and underground bunkers, even, would be obliterated or buried).
2. a few really spectacular 'work accidents' such as the 'Palestinian' Arab Muslims, and other jihadis, seem to have quite frequently.
3. Whoever is putting pressure on Israel, either within or without, to STOP demanding restraint and instead to shut up and stand back and let what happens...happen.
In connection with (3) two articles from the Jerusalem Post, the first contemporary, the second dealing with past history, that I find...interesting.

We are going down to the wire, people.
Right down to the wire.
Observant Jews and practising Christians may want to re-read Isaiah 36 and 37, especially 36: 14-20; and Psalm 83.
If they make it to a San Francisco judge...they'll win.
