Baghdad, 13 June (AKI) - An al-Qaeda cell composed of children under the age of 16, known as "Children of Paradise", is believed to be responsible for a growing number of attacks in Iraq.
Statistics from Sunni militias loyal to the government estimate 60 recent attacks have been carried out by these young people who have been brain-washed by al-Qaeda terrorists based in villages along the Tigris River.
According to sources from the Awakening Council or US-backed Sunni tribal militias, quoted in the Arab newspaper al-Hayat, the group of aspiring suicide bombers are extending their range and have moved into the area of Tarimiya, north of Baghdad.
They are also reportedly operating in other areas in the Sunni province of Diyala and in the eastern part of the capital.
The Iraqi army has noted a rise in attacks carried out by children or women from 2007 to 2008.
In the last year they are believed to have carried out at least 16 suicide attacks and 200 other bomb attacks.
Leader of the Awakening Council of Tarimiya, Mahir Abu Sufiyan, followed a 10-year old boy, Bakr, who was selling gas cylinders in the area.
His life changed drammatically when he learned his brother had been killed while he was taking part in a jihadi action with an armed group.
"Since that time he distanced himself from his friends and began to attend isolated camps in Tarimiya where there were two 25-year old terrorists who taught him and other boys how to use arms and explosive devices," he said.
"The training lasts a month and then they are assigned a task and a target for an attack."

On a related note, finally laid my hands on a copy of "Reliance of the Traveller." It's literally sickening. For example, the assumption that a sexually-used wife may be prepubescent seems knitted through every aspect of Islamic law -- everything from rules of ritual washing through divorce. I don't think I've ever read anything so utterly vile. What on earth is wrong with people who can do these things to their children?

I'm sure we can find some folks here in the US that would give you more money for your children than the guys that want to use them as walking bombs. I mean....if it's just cash, we have plenty for this purpose.

Actually, with babies, I believe one is only allowed to engage in "thighing", which amounts to lubricating the infant's thighs, and using it as a masturbation tool. Granted, it's not as sick as sodomizing a baby, but it's still sick.

Children of Paradise...And just what is a ten year old going to do in Paradise? Virgins? The ten year old is a virgin (most likely anyway), so it's virgin against virgin. If they are really virgins, they will remain that way, because neither virgin knows what to do next. The whole idea is preposterous.
But that's Islam, always teetering on the edge of the preposterous. And these are the people who would rule the world...Preposterous idea, isn't it.

This inciden once again proves that our enemies are not only against freedom, but also against life itself.
Of course, Al-Q knows that people from most civilised societies do not instinctively view women and children as aggressors; it's all about getting those explosives as near to the target as possible, by using an innocent-seeming vector.
The reasoning behind these 'children of paradise' - use the most 'innocent-looking' vector as possible, to try to get under the guard of your civilised opponent - has been used by the local Arab Muslims in and around eretz Israel, for over twenty years.
Young women, girls, pregnant women or women got up to look pregnant, and young boys, mere school-children, have all been used as suicide assassins against Israel; some of them have had their lives saved by vigilant Israeli soldiers at the much-maligned checkpoints, who caught them before they could detonate themselves (or be detonated, remotely, by their controllers). Some of these failed suicide-assassins - girls, boys, young men - are found among the 'palestinian' Arab Muslim prisoners in Israeli jails, whose detention is seen as such a terrible injustice, and whose release the 'palestinian' jihadis and their Useful Idiot enablers are demanding so vociferously.
Whenever the Useful Idiots wail about the wickedness of the insensitive Israelis, who insist - how insensitive of them! - on searching little Arab Muslim kiddies' schoolbags and looking askance at pregnant women, I get very, very impatient with their wilful blindness.
A final note. Jihadis are not the only people in history who have used child soldiers. But they use them for precisely the same reason as, for example, Hitler created the Hitler Jugend or Pol Pot recruited children and Mao used youngsters as vandals and killers and informers in the Cultural Revolution - because it is terribly easy to program a child (whose moral sense and sense of self are still unformed) with ultraviolence, soulless cruelty, and unquestioning obedience.
