We have seen many memorable examples of the vigor with which Muslim groups denounce and attempt to stamp out heretical teachings and movements, including the recent actions against the Ahmadiyya sect in Indonesia. So if the jihadists have hijacked Islam, why don't we see the same level of indignation leveled at them? Why is the response from major groups so fraught with dissimulation and half-measures for public consumption? "‘Sky messenger’ nabbed," from The Star, June 14:
A MAN who claimed to be a “messenger from the sky” and lived for “more than 3,000 years” was nabbed by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) in a raid in his house in Damansara, Harian Metro reported.
The man, in his 80s, used his home as a gathering place for his followers, and spread deviant teachings that were against the teachings of Islam.
During the last Maulidur Rasul celebration, he brazenly sent invitations to the Sultan of Selangor, Mentri Besar, Mufti, Jais, and a few government agencies, inviting them to his speeches.
Jais director Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi said the group was believed to have been active for a long time. However, it was hard to trace their activities as the man and his followers conducted their affairs secretly.
During the raid, approximately a hundred followers were caught listening to his lecture. One of the group's deviant beliefs is that the basic tenets of Islam such as praying five times a day, fasting and performing the pilgrimage to Mecca were not obligatory for a Muslim.
This reminds me of the group whose giant teapot was destroyed for the same reason.
More about the teapot here
Anyways, people like the sky messenger in the main post by Marisol and the teapot group in the link above really had it coming to them. Why?
Malaysian states are now even banning what PM Badawi has been promoting as the moderate way, Islam Hadari!
Islam Hadari banned from Penang
It seems that the Arabization of S.E. Asian Islam is complete.
This unnamed “messenger from the sky” might be delusional (is anyone connected to, or faithful to the cult of 'allah' not delusional?), he does seem to profess some truths that all "true" muslims will categorically deny:
He is very correct. These five pillars of islam are NOT laid out/dictated in the their fairy tale book. Lets add these, too: 1)How to pray, 2)What to pray, 3)How to eat, sleep, poop, pee...
You get the point. All of these things that makes a muslim a "muslim" were only afterthoughts of that fraudster Mo.
Let's look at the Bible. A complete reversal, a 180 degree turn, to what is sanctioned. Simple example:
Matthew 6:8. You know, that little staple prayer known round the world as..
Our Father...
"There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet."
Another prophet would just upset the Muslim apple cart.
... I keep reading all the Muslim apologists who tell us the fundamentalist, violent, jihad-celebrating versions of Islam are a cultural carryover of the "Arabist" mindset. They point to the gentler, peaceful, tolerant strains of Islam in Southeast Asia as "proof" that it's not ISLAM, per se, but the culture of the people who PRACTICE Islam that makes the difference. (Therefore, the argument goes, we in the West don't have to fear Islam because we're all so enlightened and humane. Muslims from OUR countries could never become so narrow-minded and intolerant... and murderous.) *
Eh, another appeal to logic overturned by reality.
IT MOST DEFINITELY _IS_ ISLAM ITSELF WHICH CAUSES THE INTOLERANCE AND VIOLENCE WE IN THE WEST ASSOCIATE WITH ISLAM. It's got nothing to do with the country or race or culture that "adopts" Islam. THE NECESSITY OF VIOLENCE AND INTOLERANCE IS EMBEDDED IN THE CULTURE OF ISLAM, PROMOTED AND PREACHED BY ITS RELIGIOUS CLERGY, AND ENFORCED BY SHARIA LAW.
It is not excessive to argue that the future of Western Civilization hangs in the balance here.
We have GOT to come up with a way to maintain the guarantees of freedom, liberty, and equal rights for ALL PEOPLE, while ensuring that Islamofascism can never develop a toehold in our societies. The question is -- how? Muslims are people too; they have rights, they can believe what they choose, worship their God, associate with like-minded people... The state can punish ACTIONS that are against the law, but there's no way to prohibit their beliefs. Even slime like NAMBLA can legally publish a website with their views --yeccch.
* (Wasn't that same argument used regarding Germany: home of Schiller, Goethe, and Beethoven; so cultured and refined; couldn't possibly devolve into monsters... ?)
How is this guy any more of a false prophet than Mohamed? I detect jealousy of the up and comer
The Mohammedans are trying to protect their turf. The false prophet rackets are quite competitive

This guy sounds no less plausible than say, Joseph Smith, L.Ron Hubbard, Rev Moon, Rev Jim Jones, David Koresh, Charles Manson etc. What have the Muslims to fear from this 3000 year old crank? After all, getting a visit from the Angel Gabriel and taking dictation of what God wants is an everyday thing.
