Looks like they were planning some serious Interior Spiritual Struggle.
"Pakistani authorities arrest 3, seize explosives," by Munir Ahmad for Associated Press, June 6 (thanks to all who sent this in):
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Pakistani authorities arrested three suspected suicide bombers and seized more than a ton of explosives in a suspected terror plot near the capital, officials said Friday.Senior police officer Rao Mohammed Iqbal told The Associated Press that several suspects, including the three alleged bombers, were arrested in the operation late Thursday in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.
He provided no details on what the bombers allegedly wanted to target and whether the vehicles had been rigged to detonate.
However, two security officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media, said the arrested men were suspected of wanting to target "sensitive installations."...
From article: Pakistani authorities arrested three suspected suicide bombers...
Those were three 'Islamic jihad terrorist' suicide bombers. To be politically un-correct.
There just seems to be so many people who mis-understand Islam...
What did the Clintons used to say, ...."it's just an innocent bureaucratic snafu........."?
I'm sure that's what this is. After all, doesn't everybody in Pakistan carry around a ton of explosives, just for a 'rainy day'......?
OT: People -
I want to tell you about a subtle form of activism I'm doing.
Whenever I go somewhere where I have to wait, such as a doctor's office, I bring along Tony Blankley's book, "The West's Last Chance: Will We Win the Clash of Civilizations?" While I wait, I read, positioning the book so that both leaves are open, and so both front/back covers can be clearly seen by others. The back cover says at the top in bold print, "The Nazis failed to take over Europe, but Militant Islam might."
I chose Blankley's book because of it's provocative, Armageddon-esque title. Perhaps it might WAKE UP a few of those somnambulists's among us. So far, no verbal comments, but perhaps a seed may get planted for later.
I recommend this book as a great gift, too - it's kind of a primer - albeit a highly intelligent and perspicacious one - and is endorsed by RS on the "Blurb" page.
Pakistan, Pakistan...Pakistan! Man I here this name so many times from being our Ally to Jihadi activity and sharia law. Being given numerous amount of US aid and contracts to fight Jihadis in the NW frontier province to building a democracy. This is one of the most dangerous countries in the world! A country were Islamic terrorist training camps are held, a country that has Nuclear weapons and the Jihadis want to get a hold of. A country that has repeatedly lied and cajoled the Western countries into believing it is an Ally. A country that has a continued track of Jihadi activity against India and Kashmir.
Pakistan is a true time bomb. From the corrupt regime to the uncontrollable areas bording Afghanistan, it's a breeding ground for those who would do evil.
Interesting choice by President/Commander-in-chief as his "ally" in war-on-terror. The other choice, Saudi Arabia, is even more of a puzzle. Equally interesting that Bush's "allies" only became bolder and stronger supporters/promoters "of terror" (rather than against terror), which may be the intent of war-on-terror, to start with.
By decieving the people of America and supporting the enemy, "War is deciet" seems be a lesson, not lost on the US President/commander-in-chief, if Americans can see the irony.
"War is deciet"
Deceit. "War is deceit" --Mohammed.
Pakistan is NOT an "ally." Muslim Pakistan is among one of the most West-hating countries on Earth. I wonder what Benazir Bhutto is thinking nowadays, since she's in Heaven and knows the truth about "Allah" - doesn't exist.
Only the Almighty knows, but somehow I doubt Bhutto is in Heaven...
