Pakistan's ambassador to Norway: new Muhammad cartoon a "terrorist act"

In 1860, Abraham Lincoln said this about the secessionists who blamed critics of slavery for the Civil War that was, as everyone knew by then, sure to come: "A highwayman holds a pistol to my ear, and mutters through his teeth, 'Stand and deliver, or I shall kill you, and then you will be a murderer!'" (Thanks to Paul.)

And now we have the spectacle of Rab Nawaz Khan saying that a cartoon is a terrorist act. If any Muslim kills anyone over this cartoon, will Rab Nawaz Khan call that a terrorist act?

What do you think?

"Norway: Caricature = terror," from Islam In Europe, June 7 (thanks again to Paul):

Pakistani ambassador to Norway, Rab Nawaz Khan, fears what will happen when the Norwegian Muhammad caricature published in Adresseavisen reaches the masses in large Muslim countries like Pakistan.

"Muslim societies all over the world will be insulted. Therefore it's a terrorist act," says the ambassador to TV 2.

He thinks the publication can cause strong reactions, and that people will lose control. He thinks this will also endanger Norwegian citizens' lives. "People shouldn't forget that there's many Norwegian businesses in Pakistan," he says....

Threat noted.

""Muslim societies all over the world will be insulted. Therefore it's a terrorist act," says the ambassador to TV 2."

sounds like he is peeved that the cartoons reveal the truth about how violent Islam is....and Muslims hate it when the truth about Isalm reaches the eyes and ears of people who still have the ability to fight back..

HE should be more concerned about Muslims in Muslims lands being oppressed and killed just because they like to watch soccer, or they like to try to earn a living by being a barber, a fruit vendor, a businessman selling CDs and DVDs, or just because they happen to be little girls trying to get an education by going to a school.

Send hit a copy of the FITNA video..

Robert:

Many thanks for alerting your readers to this, and for your ongoing coverage of Pakistan's hoodlum diplomacy. Interested parties may see my post on the matter at http://greenspiece.blogspot.com/2008/06/terrorist-act-that-is-cool.html.

It just goes to show one that the pen is mightier than the sword. Just what are the muslims afraid of? The average muslim does not care if Muhammed is portrayed as a cartoon or a two headed cow, they just want to live their lives peacefully. However, hate is ingained in the Islamic society, and it is the religious leaders of Islam that stir up the mob over cartoons. Do they, the immans and mullahs, really believe that by focusing on outside events will releave the squalor they have created within?

Will the Pak's ambassador got after the "Muslim" who created cartoons that were alongside the Danish ones? you know the muslims who allerted the other nuts in the ME about them? will they be prosecuted?
btw the MO cartoons created by the Muslims were far more offensive, so they should really get the koran thrown at them eh!

He thinks the publication can cause strong reactions, and that people will lose control.

Yep...Cartoonophobia creates mass hysteria, confusion, violence. Cartoons are very powerful.
The empty headed mind is wide open for their influence. If you don't believe that, watch WW2, Donald Duck propaganda cartoons.
Irrational fear of cartoons cause's psychotic reactions in muslims so affected. Cartoonophobia seems to be restricted to muslims. No other group, religious or secular, goes ballistic over Mohammad cartoons, only muslims. The treatment for this malady is not cartoon abstinence, but to increase muslim exposure to cartoons until the phobia is erased. More and better cartoons eliminates cartoonophobia. Soon a good muslim could enjoy Porky Pig without feeling offended. When muslims can do that, we can congratulate them and say, 'you have come a long way baby'...

This infuriates me to no end. If you were in a grade school, and two kids saw a cartoon that insulted Superman, would you elect the one who threatened violence, breach of peace, engaged in outraged chest puffery and called it terrorism to class president?

The fact that Muslim states "play house" by electing ambassadors, presidents, prime ministers, state representatives is just another piece of stealth jihad: create Western-style agencies to get their most wild-eyed conspiracists, racists, fascist people in them, and get them equated in the media with those positions held by Western and other free nations.

I don't buy your illegitimate thoughts, thug, moron, so I don't buy your "position". Go back to your goats and superstitions and get out of my West.

You don't belong here. I am so disgusted that Western governments spend any time meeting with or allowing ambassadors of this peasant ilk to come into their countries, and that Western media sees fit to repeat their backwards, fourth-world drivel.

Pea brains.

Insult = terrorism.

No.
Bombings = terrorism.
Beheadings = terrorism.
Kidnappings = terrorism.

I could go on, but you get my drift. Too bad the
ambassador doesn't.

Persecution is worse than slaughter...

In the muslim mind, insulting muhammad is much, much worse than killing a few infidels.

Wish I were a cartoonist. muslims offer so much material. Ambassador's head rolling on ground in front of Paki embassy = terror. Cartoon= civil discourse. Mushroom cloud over Peshwar=terror cartoon = civil discourse in a free society. Muhamed=terror cartoon=...

"People shouldn't forget that there's many Norwegian businesses in Pakistan,"

And anyone from a civilized country who works at one is an idiot who values money more than his life. The choices are to either isolate the virus of islam or destroy it. Let them live without toothpaste and tampons in their islamic paradises. And stop allowing this virus to continue infecting the west through immigration.

Only children blame others for their reactions to events in life. The "you made me angry" is what I observed in my 2 to 5 year olds, and is not appropriate in adults, who are supposed to be responsible for their own actions.

No sense of self control whatsoever.

If Islam is so wonderful and the 'perfect way' shouldn't they pity those who haven't found it? Whence cometh this rage? One of my favorite old words is 'killjoy' - it is literally a person who "kills joy". Islam is the world's 'killjoy' extraordinaire.

Such Muslim behaviour reminds me of a story in one of Sita Ram Goel's books:

"In the event, however, the paper remained irrelevant to the discussion that took place. The several speakers that rose, one after another, became red in the face and foamed at the mouth as they fulminated against Hindu society for denying employment to Muslims in the public as well as the private sector, for reducing the Muslim minority to the status of second class citizens, for committing untold atrocities on the poor and helpless Muslims in a repeated round of riots, and so on so forth. All these speakers wore Hindu names. The most vociferous of them was Balraj Puri who has managed to masquerade for many years as a martyr in the service of what he proclaims to be humanist causes.

There were four or five Muslim participants present in that seminar. One of them was a professor of Arabic from a leading university. Another was a lawyer well-known for his championing of all communist and Islamic causes at all times. They were invited to speak next. But they all smiled and said that they had nothing to add to what their "Hindu brethren" had already said so "loudly and so lucidly".

And then all of a sudden I saw some fireworks from the same silent and satisfied Islamic fraternity. They had all stood up, shaking with uncontrollable rage, and were shouting at the same time, "He is lying!" They were pointing their fingers at the gentleman who had been invited to speak by the president, and who had said only a few sentences. Balraj Puri kept sitting. But he looked as if he would burst out of his skin.

This was the late Hamid Dalwai. I had heard of him. But this was the first time I saw him. He was a tall man with a slight stoop, a smiling face, and a rather relaxed self-possession. He was saying, "All that has been said about Hindu communalism today is nothing new. We have heard it for the nth time. The intention of the working paper of this seminar, however, was to highlight for the first time what has so far been ignored by all progressive people who swear by secularism. What I want to expose today is Muslim communalism which has already divided the motherland, and which is still strong enough to poison our body-politic""

It was at this point that the Muslim gentlemen had stood up and started shouting.....

All hell now broke loose as the Islamic fraternity stood up again, and started shouting that they had not come to the seminar to be insulted by "a hired hoodlum of the RSS fascists". JP could restrain them no more, and declared the proceedings closed with a note of anguish in his voice."

What is Adresseavisen? (I assume it's a Norwegian paper or magazine.)

Just how big is its subscriber base in the "large Muslim countries"? As with the Danish cartoons, there is no reason for it even to come to the attention of the bulk of the Islamic world, except through other Muslims.
Does looking at this cartoon mean a Muslim will go to hell? (I doubt it.) Was it airdropped over Pakistan or Afghanistan, to people who otherwise wouldn't see it? (Again, doubtful.)
How is it that Muslims who are so sure of the rightness of their ways have never adopted a thicker skin in fourteen centuries? Isn't it enough for them to know that Allah has chosen them for a place in heaven? Babies, the lot of them.

This will be interesting, Will Norway find a hero or a Quisling? We should remind the would be Quislings of his ultimate fate.

I suggest that next September 11, every US newspaper publish the cartoons on their front pages. It will never happen because the US has too many Quislings.

Because I live in a nearly Muslim free area of the US, it is difficult to understand what people in other, Muslim infested places are going through.

That excerpt from Sita Ram Goel -- the description of Muslim hysterical defensiveness and rage -- rings so true, corresponds so completly to experiences we have all had, or heard, with Muslims to be seen on, say, MEMRI, or in the press, on television, or at meetings. The man who starts out smiling at some Mosque-Outreach-Night, and with the usual plausible group of fellow Muslims, those who can stomach seeing the Infidels in their mosque, and who are determined to keep themselves under control, and they do, unless someone says something true and also disturbing about Islam, and then all hell breaks lose.

I would counsel all those debating Muslims to say something, early on, that will bring the hysteria up quickly. It can be done, can be done and has been done, even with such a practiced snake as Tariq Ramadan. And when that hysterical pitch is reached, the audience of Infidels will draw its own conclusions, as you remain -- and not being Muslim, you are perfectly capable of remaining -- icily calm.

If the Danes had gonads, they would declare the bastard 'personna-non-gratta' and expel him.

Here's Pigman, as being drawn by his creator, citing the real source that inspires cartoonists to Draw the line against Jihad.

Just what does Pakistan export to the rest of the world (besides latent terrorist and nuclear technology)?

What gives it any political or economic leverage to do anything other then beg for the scraps from the table of western civilization?

Is it helping fight the Taliban (their own creation) as was the conditions for being removed from it previous pariah status?

Let smile in their faces as we close our embassies over there and ship their diplomats’ butts back to their homes in orange jumpsuits and shackles.

-- from the beginning of Robert's comment above

What a wonderful quotation the informant, Paul, came up with from the works of Lincoln, and how stunningly perfect its application to the dismal matter at Pakistani hand.

On second thought, the US does not have any Quislings; we have Benedict Arnolds.

"Pakistani ambassador to Norway, Rab Nawaz Khan, fears what will happen when the Norwegian Muhammad caricature ... reaches the masses in large Muslim countries like Pakistan."
=====================================

Oh yeah, right. He "fears what will happen" my arse. That's diplomat-code for "the imams will tell the dupes to riot in the streets and burn things". So what? We need more cartoons, many more. And we need a BIG police presence to let the goons know WE WILL MAINTAIN OUR CIVILIZATION. (We need to do the most elementary of things for a nation and society: declare that WE rule us; YOU DO NOT rule us and you WILL abide by our laws.)

If our society rubs Muslims the wrong way because we don't fawn over their so-called "culture", we don't yield to the incessant demands of their leaders, and we don't show respect to their "religion of violence" and its prophet, they can hie themselves back to the old country where Islamic religion ==> Islamic education ==> Islamic law ==> Islamic behavior. The final result, of course, being what you find in all the Islamic Paradises of the world: corruption, intolerance, violence, poverty, and insupportable populations.

Hugh,

This person "Hamid Dalwai" who infuriated the other Muslims in Goel's story, seems to be one of the very few genuine secular Muslims, similar maybe to Tashbih Sayyed.

Here is a website with some writings from Dalwai:

http://www.hvk.org/Publications/wit.html

Surprisingly, the wikipedia article of him was not yet a victim of Taqiyya:

Hamid Dalwai (1932-1977) was a Muslim social reformer in Maharashtra state in India. Born in a Marathi speaking Muslim family in Konkan he joined the Socialist Party, but left it to devote himself to Muslim social reforms, specially to Muslim women's rights. He started Muslim Satyashodhak Mandal. He faced many personal problems due to his reformist views.

He worked as a Marathi journalist. He wrote many books including Laat ('The Wave), Indhan (Fuel) and Muslim Politics In Secular India. He died at age of 45.

Hamid Dalwai was also perhaps the only reformer in the Muslim community in recent years, with many others claiming to be reformers being just apologists for the community. Noting that the worst victims of orthodoxy were women, he organised a morcha of Muslim women on Mantralaya to demand a uniform civil code. Hamid, who was born in a typical Marathi speaking Konkani Muslim family in Ratnagiri district, is survived by his wife Mehrunnisa, who worked in the Khadi Gramudyog Mandal to keep the kitchen fires burning. Hamid's brother Hussein is a Congress leader in Maharashtra and a former MP, minister and state president of the Samajwadi Party in Maharashtra.

He thinks the publication can cause strong reactions, and that people will lose control. He thinks this will also endanger Norwegian citizens' lives.

Yeah if you will lose contorl if you have the mentality of a three year old baby. Unfortunatly, it appears that Islam has that effect on people.

Taking into account the brutal and self-serving aspects of Mohammed, I don't see how one can't insult him, be it done humorously or otherwise. Maybe that's why Muslims are so touchy about all this. Even many Muslims must know subconsciously that there was something deeply wrong about the guy. After all, Christians and Buddhists don't go on the rampage when their faith is mocked. That's because they are secure in their knowledge about the decency and goodness of their religion's founder. Muslims are not and thus they reveal more about their religion than they realize when they go ballistic over something as inane as cartoons.

"At the heart of...Western freedom and democracy is the belief that the individual man, the child of God, is the touchstone of value, and all society, all groups, and states, exist for his benefit. Therefore the enlargement of liberty for individual human beings must be the supreme goal and the abiding practice of any Western society."

~Robert F. Kennedy

If Mohammedans don't like freedom, they should get the hell out of the free world.

Plenty of sandy hellholes await their ignorant, retrograde, despotic, stuporous lunacy.

profitsbeard,

Good one. Thanks for the laugh.

He thinks the publication can cause strong reactions, and that people will lose control. He thinks this will also endanger Norwegian citizens' lives. "People shouldn't forget that there's many Norwegian businesses in Pakistan," he says....

Yet more evidence that the Muslim Mob is one of the weapons used by the Muslim Mafia to rule a society.

If Norwegians had the guts of their Viking ancestors this is what would be happening: every single Norwegian newspaper would have on their front page Mr Kurt Westergaard's splendid turban-bomb cartoon, captioned '''mohammed', or, Ubul Kassim Ha-Meshugga, Bandit Chief of Arabia", and inside the front page, reproduced in its entirety, would be a Norwegian translation of Geert Wilders' 1st June speech to the Danish parliament.

Furthermore, large groups of Norwegian males of military age would be emulating a certain Italian parliamentarian, and parading together down the street, all wearing T-shirts also bearing that same cartoon by Mr Westergaard.

(One hopes, one really hopes, that someone brave will do a deal with Mr Westergaard so as to be able to produce such T-shirts in quantity, fully authorised, complete with his personal signature, THAT cartoon on the front, and on the back Mr Westergaard's ipsissima verba, namely, 'I have turned fear into anger', and 'I am an old man with a stiff neck, I cannot bow my head'. To be sold for a modest sum, part of the proceeds to go toward the costs of Mr W's personal security, as it might be, bodyguard, rifle, ammunition, attack dog, etc etc. As well as T-shirts the image would do very nicely in a line of small stickers that could be stuck up EVERYWHERE across 'Eurabia'; again, royalties to go to Mr Westergaard and wife).

"If Norwegians had the guts of their Viking ancestors......," writes dumbledoresarmy.

My Australian friend, sadly they don't. They have been massively snookered and numbed into politically correct, multicultural obeisance to the effete elites of their society who are in the process of giving Norway away to those who would destroy Norwegian freedoms en masse. Ditto for sundry other Western European nations. It's suicide by contempt for oneself, for one's nation. Very sad.

Islam in an insult to humanity - now that really is a terrorist act.

It is simply obscene for the Paki ambassador to complain about the cartoons and call them a "terrorist act". Muslims commit such (and worse) terrorism everyday and they have the gumption to lecture others. They routinely deride and insult other religions, but are ultra sensitive when someone derides Islam. This is their "perpetually offended syndrome". Countries like Pukistan and Malaysia (whose foreign minister has just lectured the western media)routinely demolish Hindu temples, yet cry hoarse over cartoons. What a load of crap and what a bunch of hypocrites! More power to cartoonists!

If the Cartoons are a terrorist act...what the hell does that make the Koran?

Islam is a lie. Truth is killing it.
