"That's what you get for practising your religion, just going to the mosque and praying"

Ain't it the truth? You sit in the Tim Horton's drive-thru line having an idle conversation about chemical weapons recipes in the "mujahed cookbook," and complaining about police surveillance, and wouldn't you know it? Some Islamophobe hauls off and assumes you're up to some kind of jihad activity! Why, it just goes to show you: Muslims are persecuted in the West! I mean, how many times have you sat in the drive-thru at White Castle or Fatburger or Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips or Kennedy Fried Chicken with a group of friends and idly talked over ways of most efficiently killing the kuffar? And what did it mean? Nothing! It was just fantasy, the way you might dream about one day owning a Ferrari! Why, Canada is turning into a police state!

"Suspected terrorists talked about making homemade chemical weapons: wiretap," from the Canadian Press, June 6 (thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist):

BRAMPTON, Ont. — The alleged ringleaders of a suspected terror plot to attack Canadian targets talked about making homemade chemical weapons from a "mujahed cookbook" and worried about being "sitting ducks" for police, wiretaps played in a courtroom Friday suggested.

While going through a Tim Hortons drive-thru, the wiretapped conversations of the alleged ringleaders of the so-called "Toronto 18" talk about Arabic books that give step-by-step instructions on making homemade weapons. They later talk about leaving the city for fear of getting caught by police.

The tapes are being played at the trial of the only youth still facing charges as part of a group that police allege made plans to attack a number of Canadian targets, including Parliament Hill. The voice of the now-20-year-old suspect, who cannot be named, doesn't appear on the tapes....

During a trip to a Tim Hortons in April 2006, several of the suspects talk about a "mujahed cookbook" that provided translated instructions to make weapons. None of the men on the tape can be identified under a publication ban.

"They're all in there," says the suspected ringleader. "It's like homemade chemical weapons, homemade this. ... Everything you can think of."

"What every mujahed should know," laughs the police informant, using the Arabic term for "holy warrior."...

The alleged group's organizer talks about a newspaper article detailing the arrests of two Georgia men who came up from the United States to meet with three Canadian men who police describe as "like-minded Islamic extremists."

"They mentioned me like three times as being extremist, terrorist, blah, blah blah," the alleged ringleader says during a conversation captured by a wiretap in one of the suspect's cars.

"I know I'm going to jail any day," he says in another conversation.

In another phone conversation with one of the suspects, the same man continues to fret about getting caught by police.

"I'm just like, yo, I'm like a sitting duck," the alleged ringleader says.

"That's what you get for practising your religion, just going to the mosque and praying," his alleged co-conspirator says. "But if just going to the mosque is getting you in trouble, just forget it, you know what I mean?"

Later, he counsels the alleged ringleader to leave town.

"Just move from this damn city and go work," the suspect says, suggesting he go to Fort McMurray, Alta. "The best thing to do is just work and make your money and just live peacefully, you know what I mean? ... There's just too many loose balls in Toronto."...

You can say that again.

Canada - throw the book at them!

From the article:

'"I'm just like, yo, I'm like a sitting duck," the alleged ringleader says.

'"That's what you get for practising your religion, just going to the mosque and praying," his alleged co-conspirator says. "But if just going to the mosque is getting you in trouble, just forget it, you know what I mean?"

In other words: lay low for a while and try to allay suspicion. He's NOT telling him to give up on his jihad plots. He's telling him to follow essentially the same advice that was given to the 9/11 plotters - stay away from mosques, act like a nonreligious person, like a 'moderate', 'peaceful' Muslim. Mohammed said: WAR IS DECEIT.

Let's think, too, about the advice of Taqi Usmani, Deoband Muslim sharia lawman from Pakistan, as found in his book 'Islam and Modernism' - “Our followers ‘must live in peace until strong enough to wage jihad’ (see Andrew Norfolk's report in Times Online, 8 September 2007). Norfolk wrote: "Justice Muhammad Taqi Usmani argues that Muslims should live peacefully in countries such as Britain, where they have the freedom to practise Islam, only until they gain enough power to engage in battle."

Tactics, strategy. If going to the mosque is attracting attention, stay away from it...

Live peacefully FOR THE MOMENT - while plotting to attack the moment you are strong enough. Smilers with knives...

And Muslims wonder why the kafir, who are capable of reading books like Mr Usmani's, are getting antsy?

"I'm just like, yo, I'm like a sitting duck, ..."
The ringleader is "Ali G"?

There is a huge denial in Canadian society that members of a minority group would want to murder peaceful Canadians. Canada has seen itself as the "peaceable kingdom" (Book of Isaiah) rather than the American model of "A city on a hill". It behooves Canadians to comprehend that there are people with world views in which they see Canadians as the enemy and therefore sub-human ie Kafir.

There is much dismissal amongst liberal Canadian journalists, being spun-up by the Canadian Muslim communities "need" to save face. We are told these guys were "not serious", "we're just goof-balls talking tough", and if push, "Oh ... serious terrorists but not real Muslims." The evidence is becoming clear, that while these guys were not very competent, their motives were based on a desire for Islamic piety and to be consistent with Islamic theology. Muslims might argue that their theology was incorrect, however it is indisputable from the evidence that it was theologically motivated.

In time, peace loving liberals in Canada will realize that there are indeed people who look at what the Maple leaf stands for and want to spit on it. They will realize, in time, that there is a sizeable Muslim Jihadist movement that would indeed kill good old dull Canadians just for being good old dull non-Muslim Canadians. Sadly, I believe this denial will only end after some of these evil Jihadists blow up Young Street or kill some politicians in Parliament.

What should be of concern, from my perspective as a Canadian watcher, is that for as much as Canadians are dull and peaceable, when provoked they tend to very quickly muster a formidable tenacity which at times can foster itself as full scale wrath (ie how dare anyone mess with peaceable Canucks, they must be truly evil). There is much written regarding the Canadian fighting spirit exceeding many other groups (yes, even Americans) during WWI and WWII. Canadians are an interesting and under-estimated people. It must be the cold winters or all that hockey.

More Evidence Of Fast-Food Muslim Nation:

Jihad Video Is 'Just for Fun'
Reuters 05.24.06

THE HAGUE, Netherlands -- The Dutch creator of a video game-based movie, which the U.S. government says is being used as a recruitment tool by Muslim militants, says that his home-made creation was nothing more than a bit of fun.

The 11-minute video shows a man in Arab headdress carrying an automatic weapon into combat with U.S. invaders, and it was shown to a U.S. congressional committee this month as evidence of a militant campaign to recruit Muslim youth on the internet.

"It was just for fun, nothing political," said Samir, a 25-year-old Dutch gamer, in an interview with Reuters. "It has nothing to do with recruiting people or training people."

Samir, who did not want to be identified by his full name, is a Muslim who was born and raised in the Netherlands and is a fan of U.S. movies and rap music.

His short movie is based on a popular video game, Battlefield 2, that usually shows U.S. troops engaging Chinese or Middle Eastern forces.

Samir borrowed part of the soundtrack from a satirical movie, Team America: World Police, including the words: "As quickly as they had come, the infidels were gone. It was on that day I put a jihad (holy war) on them."

He also added a soundbite from President George W. Bush, days after the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001, in which he described the war on terrorism as a "crusade." The phrase gravely offended many Muslims who took it to mean Bush was calling for a war against Islam.

At the May 4 congressional presentation, lawmakers were told that the video had been posted on militant websites designed to encourage youngsters to take up arms against the United States.

"You can see where the games are set to psychologically condition you to go kill coalition forces," said Eric Michael of Science Applications International, which is being paid $7 million by the Defense Department to monitor 1,500 militant websites.

Samir, a clean-cut youth who will start work at a hospital this summer, posted his video in December on an online community forum for Battlefield 2 to solicit feedback on his production skills and said he was shocked when he learned it was shown in the congressional presentation.

"Government agencies should do more research before coming to conclusions," said Samir, over french fries and a milkshake at a Burger King restaurant in The Hague. "The movie wasn't what they presented it to be."

islam's mosques, house of worship is also house of terror(ists), when they store their weapons, plan their attacks, it ceases to be respected as a house of worship.

Perhaps counter-jihadi Canadians should consider a priority effort to educate First Nations Canadians.

After all: Native Canadian arts, sculpture, music and song, and their customs which would be condemned as 'polytheism' by Islam, are just as much 'jahiliyya' as the laws, customs and culture of non-Muslim Canucks, so it is in their interests to join the Resistance to Jihad.

Then, as necessary, some of the more warlike, inventively scarey and less 'civilised' First Nations practices, now lapsed, could be dusted off.

If the wannabe jihadis venture onto sacred First Nations ground in order to practice their little games in anticipation of conquest, plunder and enslavement, then they should meet things they don't expect. Time for them to be seriously frightened.

Ojibwe and Inuit, and others: the Canucks are educable. You can coexist with them; you can persuade them to repair broken promises and keep treaties. But the Muslims are NOT educable and they do not understand oathkeeping, reciprocity or equality; if you thought that the English or the French spoke with forked tongues, be warned, the Muslims are ten times worse. The Muslims will kill or enslave you en masse without the tiniest twinge of conscience, and ruthlessly obliterate your language, your history and your laws.

Do not listen to their lies. And start thinking about the warpath.

While I agree that these morons need to be given the harshest punishment possible, I'm amazed at what imbeciles they are. These room-temperature-IQ jihadis are no different than gang members or other criminals. Put them away with the other wannabe killers and we'll see how soon they discover just how tough they really are.

I know you're not supposed to laugh at your own jokes, but I couldn't help it when I thought of this as I read JW this morning:

"A Jew, a Christian and a Muslim go into a bar..."

and that's it, folks! That's also the punchline.
(Anyone who doesnt' get it it, I'm sorry)

On that Arthur Treacher's photo I cannot tell the fish from the chips though the chips "French fries" look awful soggy. The White Castle photo is a treasure ... Just like I ate at when little

Mosque monitoring is absolutely mandatory.

Now, the ones who are in Military jails, are being taught how to read. I wonder in what language, playing ping-pong, watching TV. their Koran in a surgical mask hanging on the wall.
Are they less violent when they get out???
I doubt it.
Or would they like to go to jail in an other Moslims country jail???
I doubt that too.

You all have this completely wrong.

These people are just following the religion...TIM HORTON'S is at fault. In their drive for usurious and probably zionist profit they make it possible for the state and islamophobes to assault true justice.

They should all be seized, auctioned off, and the the proceeds distributed to the offended mosques

I understand the post by James Martel, that after the shock of capturing these Brampton islamists, the media makes it look like these where just bunglers, not really serious. What the media does not want to understand that it did not take much to bring down the NYC twintowers. the 9-11 islamists did not have to get an escape plane, but to just to be able to take over the jets once they were in the air. our Cdn media is just as bad as the GB's BBC, and rest of MSM and liberal politicians. the Canadian people's reaction was shock and feeling of betrayal, even far left loony sister aka gov't employee was really upset. a lot of Cdns think themselves superior to Americans, that we dont have a violent society, blah blah.. we are more liked by the rest of the world, blah blah.. so they were shocked that Cdns were targeted, so now the MSMedia trys to muddle and hide the truth. if you want to see how sick our MSMedia, just watch a comedy show, called "Air Farce".. l cannot stomach to watch such garbage, such anti US, anti Western ideals. so if you dare
to watch it, make sure you take down some pepto to keep your stomach settled.

You Kuffars! So serious!

Just a bunch of muslims lads having a little fun! Nothing to see here. Move along, myob.

"He also added a soundbite from President George W. Bush, days after the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001, in which he described the war on terrorism as a "crusade."

In 2001, I was ignorant about Muslims, the Qur'an, jihad, Mohammed, etc. But, I vividly remember this gaffe from the lips of Dubbya, and I remember cringing at his choice of words.

If I was an ignoramus then, how much more so was the President? I'm no expert now. How much less an expert is the President?

Scary to think about.

Abscedere,

"Crusade" is used in many contexts. Not everything is based in tenth-century Islam. Why can't we use our words? Bush should not have dropped that usage. They're allowed to call what they do a jihad. No one else has to have any sensitivity toward us. Why should we be so diffident when talking to them? They say upfront they want to wipe us off the map!

Sigh. Robert, you poor, daft American. You just don't understand, do you? These are misunderstood kids who should have had more after-school programs.

Mark Steyn is Canada's REAL threat. He gives people ideas. Makes them think. Do you know how dangerous that is? If people start reading and thinking for themselves, why, it will be chaos!

Let these poor children have their play-fantasy. They're not hurting anyone. Not like Mark.

Interesting and under-estimated. Yep, that's us! Thanks, James.

When the time comes I think muslims will find they have underestimated Canadians, to their peril.
