"These children are being taught to hate"

More on real hate. Islamic Saudi Academy Update: "Islamic Academy Protested: Group Says School Teaches 'Hate,'" by Jerry Markon for the Washington Post, June 18 (thanks to all who sent this in):

More than a dozen people protested yesterday outside a private Islamic school in Fairfax County that critics say promotes religious intolerance and violence against people of other faiths.

The demonstration at the Islamic Saudi Academy on Route 1 was coordinated by the Traditional Values Coalition, a church lobbying group that accuses the school of using textbooks that teach children to kill. A recent study by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom found that some of the school's textbooks say it is permissible for Muslims to kill adulterers and converts from Islam.

Everyone, of course -- everyone -- is ignoring the fact that this is all mainstream Islamic teaching.

"These children are being taught to hate," Andrea Lafferty, the coalition's executive director, said in an interview after the protest, during which demonstrators waved signs saying "Honk to Stop Islamic Terrorism" and "This Saudi School Is Anti-Semitic and Anti-Christian."

A woman who identified herself as the school's educational director but would not give her name declined to comment. Abdalla I. Al-Shabnan, the school's director general, said in an interview in January that students have never been taught to hate.

Al-Shabnan was arrested last week in an unrelated matter and charged with failing to report to authorities an allegation that a 5-year-old student had been sexually abused by a family member, Fairfax County police said yesterday. Virginia law requires that such reports be filed within 72 hours after an abuse allegation is discovered.....

I couldn't help but notice this line: "Virginia law requires that such reports be filed within 72 hours after an abuse allegation is discovered....."

It's interesting how "Virginia" and the number
"72" appear in this sentence, considering that Islamists believe they will be rewarded with 72 virgins when they blow up the infidels.

Being taught to hate isn't the only thing the kids are learning, it would seem. They are also being taught it's ok for 5 year olds to be sexually molested by a family member. But then, that all just a part of islamic teaching also, isn't it?

students have never been taught to hate.
-Abdalla I. Al-Shabnan-

Then why the need for SA to promise to "revise" the texts before September?

Imnodhimmi- I think your are out of line to make a statement about the school teaching abuse of 5 year olds. I strongly disagree. Nowhere in Islam is that taught as mainstream belief. There was nothing in the news reports that indicated that was done. There are enough vile and hateful teachings taken directly from the Koran that can be criticized without having to make one up.

Any stealth jihadist who wants to assist in eliminating blogs like JW will use comments like yours in support of more hate speech laws.

While Islam does not teach that sexual abuse of children is permissible, I would argue that Islam has created a culture wherein all females, regardless of age, are considered to be property, nonhuman objects that are wholly owned by their men. Following this line of reasoning, anything that a man does to a woman is acceptable, since she's not really a person. I believe that a man with such an attitude would be more likely to abuse a child than someone with a more "Western" worldview.

And, of course, we all know the story of Aisha.

The building was built in the 1930's under FDR's WPA and was the original location of Mount Vernon High School. At a later time it was home to Walt Whitman Intermediate School. Now it is Saudi.

Whitman was a nurse in the Union army during the Civil War. Thus the Revolution, Civil War, and Great Depression are all unified in the prior history of this building.

The Muslim children are likely taught that this shows that America has submitted to Islam. The Muslims wanted this specific building to teach that lesson. It is their land now. It now belongs to Islam. America submitted to Islam and bequeaths it to be inherited by these Muslim children.

The valedictorian later convicted was likely inspired by these thoughts. He felt that he was the instrumentality of America becoming Muslim because he was educated in this building, which had become Muslim in a sign of America's submission.

It is the failure of our government to understand such things that is behind the mistakes leading to the 9/11 defeat. We will keep on losing until we dare to start thinking.

The following is interesting on this school.

Someone who went there blogs about it here.

On the other hand, the article does not specify the gender either of the child, or of the abuser. I'm making (possibly unwarranted) assumptions.

It's wierd. Yesterday I posted a Press Release I had received via e-mail about this demonstration. Yet, it was removed. Baffled by that, still am.

Anyway, this is just great! You Go, Virginia People! Love the protest signs:

"...during which demonstrators waved signs saying "Honk to Stop Islamic Terrorism" and "This Saudi School Is Anti-Semitic and Anti-Christian."

Great!

demonstrators waved signs saying ..."This Saudi School Is Anti-Semitic and Anti-Christian."

Well, duh! Is anyone really surprised by that revelation?

It's good that they're being picketed. It would be better if more than one church group were marching in protest. It would be great to see a variety of Americans join in. A single church group can be dismissed by the general public as a bunch of cranks.

They need Jews, atheists, apostates, Hindus, Sikhs, Mainstream Muslims (patent pending), Jehovah's Witnesses (if they want to do some real "field service", well, there it is!), Mormons, Wiccans, and Star Trek fans...in other words, everybody.

If I weren't so far away from Virginia, I'd take a day off and march (in full Starfleet regalia, with a tribble in one hand, and my picket sign in the other).

The Center for Vigilant Freedom sent out an informational email on the protest so it wasn't only a church group that was involved.

I'm posting on the Post.

Hope some other JW's will do the same.

The child molestation was a clear violation of Islam. Didn't these parents know Mohammad waited until his "wife" Aisha was 9 (8 actually, using the Islamic short year calendar) before he raped her? Of course, Ayatollah Khomeini said mere fondling is permitable, but who is he?

No surprise here. Cover it up and try to avoid public scrutiny.

Yes!

"Everyone, of course -- everyone -- is ignoring the fact that this is all mainstream Islamic teaching."

Noteworthy journalists and 'big talkers', of a similar bent, include:

Brit Hume, Sean the Clueless, and Laura Ingraham, the latter, in interviewing Ahmed Bedier yesterday on Fox noted, as I recall, in paraphrase, that such teachings are not 'real' Islam, or some such delusion.

Of course, her ignorance played right into Icky's hands.

I wonder how many of the protesters understand that such teachings really are mainstream Islam; not the mainstream Islam that our State Department has fallen for, but the mainstream Islam practiced by our Pakistani allies and the 'countries' we've recently 'liberated' (Iraq and Afghanistan) and our good friends, the Sowdis.

When protest signs make clear that Islam, a theocracy, is antithetical to democracy and to the U.S. Constitution, will our vaunted journalists and big talkers finally take note?

This doesn't need to descend into hatred of Muslims and Islam, but knowledgeable Americans must make it clear, publicly and specifically, what aspects of Islam we find personally offensive and which Islamic teachings and beliefs, if acted out, would violate the U.S. Constitution and relevant American law.

American Muslims are not victims, and we have a responsibility to ensure that their 'complete way of life' does not further victimize us.

Interesting about the time of the sexual abuse case....The ISA's lease came up for renewal on May 19 at the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, all of whom played the dhimmi and ridiculed citizens who brought valid concerns before the Board. I have the video of that Board hearing at my web site:

Everyone, of course -- everyone -- is ignoring the fact that this is all mainstream Islamic teaching.

Of course! For them to think otherwise has become unthinkable -- until the next spectacular attack.

Note: See http://saudiwatch.wordpress.com/ for constant updates about the ISA.

Forget about this Saudi Academy. How about an AMERICAN PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL right there in Fairfax where Muslim students cried for joy on 9/11 and erupted in such huge spontanious celebration that the school administration panicked and canceled classes, not knowing how else to deal with it.
And did you, folks, watch the CBS "60 Minutes" story "Young, American and Muslim" with Morley Safer in late 2001? He interviewed 7 Muslim 13-year-olds, "Palestinian" and Pakistani, from a private Muslim school in NYC. All saw the Twin Towers burning from the windows of their school. All had nothing but praise for the "martyrs" who did it. Said a rag-headed female: "If I had a chance to blow myself up at a Navy base, I would".
The school officials insisted the students did not get those attitudes from the school, but rather from their parents. Well, this is a damn shame those parents were allowed to come to this country and become "Americans", and breed more such "Americans" here.
Who got this country infested with that enemy vermin? The God-accursed James A. Baker the 3rd, damn him to Hell, who instituted the so-called "diversity visas" in 1990, designed to bring in more persons from all the worst centers of jihadist-infestation in the world: Egypt, the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Pakistan. Baker is an ultimate American sociopath who did more than any other person to EUrabize this country by opening it up to the Muslim invasion. Treason is legalized in this country. Government service is now viewed as an opportunity to ingratuate oneself with the Arabs and become their well-paid hireling.
I am not a Michael Moore fan, but "Farenheit 9/11" is worth watching to learn about the enormous rewards Baker got from the Arabs for his treason, and the Saudi influence in this country, in its corporate world, in the academia, in the media, in the government.
Also read "Infiltration" by hero Paul Sperry that gives a disturbing picture of Islamist infiltration of all centers of power in the United States.

Ruslan -

what's your source for your account of the public school in Fairfax where Muslim pupils cried for joy and celebrated on hearing the news of 9/11, such that the teachers closed the school? Local news - radio, TV, newspaper? Or personal experience (you were there yourself on the spot, or you know first-hand someone who was at the school, such as a teacher or a parent or a pupil?)

As for the 'private Muslim school in NYC' - did the CBS program say what it was called?

I'd like to know. It's always good to have these snippets of information firmly 'anchored'.

Dumbledoresarmy,

The Fairfax school: the book "Preachers of Hate" by Kenneth Timmerman. It contains a great wealth of information on the jihad in the Western countries and dhimmitide severely afflicting locals. Timmerman is one of the foremost experts on Iran, and has lots of Iranian contacts. Among other things, he relates an intriguing episode pointing to Iran & Hezbollah involvement in 9/11. One of the Iranians living in the US called Timmerman immediatelly after the attacks & told him he just received a phone call from one of Iran's top leaders, indicating great anxiety about US retaliating against Iran. The thug was anxious to know if the US media picked up a story by Iran's Hezbollah TV in Lebanon saying that a Japanese (!) group claimed responsibility for the kamikaze attacks "in revenge for Hirosima". But the Iranians had soon lost their anxiety and became emboldened after the dastardly English sociopath Jack Straw flew to Iran on a dhimmitude mission, fawning all over Iranians. Our Baby Bush was not much better, also appeasing Iran. The book is a treasure trove. I highly recommend it.
As for the school in NYC, I don't remember its name. The "60 Minutes" aired in Dec. 2001 or Jan. 2002, I think. Its title was "Young, American and Muslim". You might want to look it up in CBS News "60 Minutes" archives.
