You know the Islamic Saudi Academy: the one that teaches mainstream Islamic concepts such as the killing of apostates and adulterers. Patrick Poole reports in "What Virginia’s Islamic Academy Doesn’t Want You to Know" at Pajamas Media, June 13:
The Bush administration considers the Saudi government to be one of our allies in the War on Terror, and that support extends to the Islamic Saudi Academy as well. Cinnamon Stillwell recently noted an article in the Mount Vernon Gazette that reported 22 soldiers from Ft. Belvoir had recently graduated from the Islamic Saudi Academy’s “Arabic as a Second Language” program. This means that the school is not only being funded by the Saudi government, but also our own government. Deputy Assistant Secretary of The Army Dr. Lynn Heirakuji and the U.S. Army’s Deputy Assistant for Foreign Languages Erol Smith attended the graduation ceremonies. No doubt we’re all grateful that our government is so adept at identifying who our enemies really are.
Patrick has much more -- about criminal activities going on in the school, and more official indifference. Read it all.
Why would Bush and company allow and encourage this?
It makes no sense.
Have the American political, business and military Elites become so used to power and success that they can't envisage a world they can't control?
It's often argued that America is beginning to resemble the Roman Empire. I think a more accurate comparison would be the late Roman Republic.
I don't think the country could survive another economic catastrophe like the 1929 Stock Market Crash. Many States would implode with violence caused by the lack of homogenaity of the population.
Anyone want to take a guess what the economic situation's going to be due to the rising commodity prices?
The trillion dollars spent on Iraq looks more than just foolish now.
Our brave soldiers laying down their lives in faraway foreign lands for the defence of our values, at the same time, our corrupt politicians plotting to surrender those same values and much more at home!
Where is the ACLU? If this was a Christian school being funded by any government money, they would be on this like white on rice.
But if it's an Islamic school....obviously, it's OK.
George Carlin's Seven Little Words all come swimmingly, and all at the same time, to mind.
Let us sell our souls for a barrel of oil.
Talk about the great Satan.

.. for the same reason Bush:
- Escorted Bin-Ladens to safety, right after 9/11.
- Blackened pages on Saudi Arabia from 9/11 interim report.
- Included Saudi Arabia as "ally" in war-on-terror.
- Increased student's visas for Saudi Arabia.
- Never enforced visa rules for Saudi Arabia.
- Attacked Iraq in Guld War I.
- Adopted "Bandar Bush" as Bush extended-family.
- Kissed wahhabi a** every visit to "The Kingdom".
- Did business with Salem Bin Laden.
- Had Saudis fund Harken Energy and Arbusto.
- Declared "Islam is Peace" first-up, after 9/11: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010917-11.html
Look at the big picture to connect the dots.. actually, it all makes perfect sense.
Saudi money has turned the US government inside out. Parts of the government are working directly against the interests of America and are working for the Saudis (Islam).
I don't like congressional investications, but..........where is the press on this?
Here is the report that started it all.

Is there any doubt that Bush is a traitor to the USA who has sold out this nation?

Ohio Representative and former Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich has introduced H.Res.1258, a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Bush. Kucinich, who had previously offered a resolution calling for the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney, offered a "privileged resolution"--one that must be taken up by the House within two days--containing 35 articles of impeachment, including:
Obstruction of the Investigation into the Attacks of September 11, 2001
The ACLU is now a arm of the Soros foundation, given that he's one of the top three benefactors of that organization.
Not to mention that he hates the U.S. and has sworn to take the U.S. down a peg or two. Which is code for making the U.S. a third world state.
Soros can also be found backing organizations like ACORN, Move-on and other leftist/Marxist groups who want to remake the U.S.
That said, its interesting to see Democrats not say a word about this. If this was a Christian group preaching the same stuff, Democrats would be screaming like stuck hogs demanding something be done. But since its Muslims preaching death to infidels and Jews its ok.

Very simple we need to unite stop fighting over whos in which party both parties for there own reasons are selling us out to islam forget the bush dem thing there both killing us.
@ Spcbat
I suspect both Left and Right have become too polarised. The hatred and fanaticism from parts of both camps defies belief.
What I think is happening is that more blue collar and lower level white collar workers are feeling increasingly disconnected from the State. Both in America and Europe. Social mobility in the US and the UK are the lowest in the Western world. Something has gone badly wrong.
Many old industrial areas in the North of England are ripe for conversion. Nothing trumps religion, certainly not the nerdy, obsessive and myopic political ideological games of the Right and Left.
It isn't just Bush that needs replacing. The entire structure is rotten.
Bush is orchestrating the composting of America and Barack will turn the heap,(change?). But a turned compost heap is still a garbage dump. And the compost maker is still a garbage man.
America deserves better than a garbage man for president. Every president since Reagan (and several before him) has been a garbage man...Reagan knew how to compost without rolling around in the garbage...Hopefully President McCain was paying attention to Reagan's composting skills...
Wet garbage sticks, you can't see it on politicians but you can hear it...
Insstead of funding such an abominable institution, the government should close it down. Furthermore, the government should tell the Saudis that they can only open academies that do not teach hateful and violent ideologies to students. If such academies are opened by the Saudis, the government should constantly monitor them so that they do not teach violence and hate.
Let us sell our souls for a barrel of oil.
Talk about the great Satan.

Lest we should have to drill in our own backyard..
Must keep the environment pristine for our future overlords!
Fairfax County has grounds to overturn the recently renewed lease for the ISA but will not!
When the King Fahd Academy in the UK, another Saudi madrassah in the West, was ordered to destroy their jihadi materials, the school did so -- but not before copying all the material and continuing to use it.
I predict that the ISA will do something similar.
Now I understand why the U.S. State Department was making the decisions on the school. This is wrong and illegal.
The U.S. State Department is for foreign policy and relations, not to be conducted on domestic soil.
The State Departments participation in this school is a violation of Federal Law.
Additionally, Federal funds for the advancement of a religion would violate separation of church and state.
The citizens in Virginia need to file a lawsuit against this school. Do not count on the ACLU to help. The Left files a suit everytime the breeze blows. Here you have the Feds spitting in the face of U.S. citizens, FILE A SUIT.
And why is the State Department having, helping, and funding a Saudi Islamic Charter School in the U.S. (I am assuming using USAID funds)?
Do we not have GOOD enough relations with the Saudi's?
How much are we paying the Saudi's in oil today?
The Saudi's will not increase oil output but we are allowing and paying for a school here?
U.S. State funds are to be spent on foreign lands for development of relations, this is illegal.
Are the Saudi's paying for U.S. Christian schools in Saudi Arabia? NO.
Being of a somewhat younger generation, and another country, Hugh's gnomic allusion to 'George Carlin and Seven Little Words' left me completely puzzled. Until I resorted to Google.
Oh me oh my!
