"Yemen: Over half of married women under 15, says report," from AKI, June 9 (thanks to C.C.):
Sanaa, 9 June (AKI) - Over half of women who marry in Yemen are under 15 years of age, said a field study conducted by Yemen's Women and Development Study Centre, which is affiliated with the University of Sanaa.According to the study which was cited in the Yemen Times newspaper, the rate of child marriage among females in Yemen reached 52 percent, compared to less than seven percent among males.
On top of that, in rural parts of Yemen, girls usually get married at an average age of 12 to 13 years old.
The parliament in Yemen is reportedly working to raise the minimum marriageable age, which currently stands at 15 years old and so far there is no punishment for those families who allow their daughters to marry under this age.
"Recently the case of early marriage in Yemen has come to light, especially after the divorce of a little girl last month," said Amatalrazaq Hummad, Yemen's Minister of Social Affairs, in an interview with the Qatari daily Al-Watan.
Hummad was referring to the case of 'Noujoud', the first eight-year-old child to obtained a divorce from her husband who is in his early 30s, through a court in Sanaa.

Under the new regime of Ayatollah Khomeini, virtually the first law that was passed was one which lowered the marriageable age of girls to nine. This makes a deep impression on Infidels, even on those who are too ignorantly inclined to scoff at what they assume are worry-warts about Islam. It gets their attention. It forces them to start to think.

The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to fondle me. While in Itikaf, he used to bring his head near me and I would wash it while I used to be in my periods (menses).
Sahih Muslim Book 3, Number 0629:
'A'isha reported: I and the Messenger (may peace be upon him) took a bath from the same vessel and our hands alternated into it in the state that we had had sexual intercourse.

BTW, I intentionally did not capitalize "islam" above. I refuse to give it any respect.
It seems to me that there is some ambiguity here. "Over half of married women under 15" and "Over half of women who marry in Yemen are under 15 years of age" are not the same thing. The former addresses the entire population of married woman, while the latter addresses the age of women WHEN they marry.
"Married" refers to the continuous state of being wed, while "marry" refers to the specific act of wedding someone. They may be under 15 when they marry, but they don't stay under 15 the entire time that they are married.
For example, it would not follow from "over half of people who graduate college are under 25" that "over half of college graduates are under 25".
