Amidst carnage, "Holy War leader" calls for "inter-Palestinian dialogue"

Trying to pull taqiyya on seasoned veterans of taqiyya. Regardless, Hamas and Fatah -- one nationality, one language, one religion (the one that "counts," anyway) -- continue persecuting and killing each other, all for the whole world to see, while, of course, accusing Israel of being the real oppressive force. "Islamic Jihad: inter-Palestinian dialogue only way to end tension," from China View, July 29:

GAZA, (Xinhua) -- An Islamic Jihad (Holy War) leader based in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday said inter-Palestinian dialogue was the only way to end recent tension between Hamas and Fatah.

"Holding a national dialogue in the current circumstances should be the only response to all parties that want to play with the Palestinian situation to return it to the zero point," said Khaled al-Batsh.

He welcomed a reconciliation call last month by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for launching dialogue with Hamas, adding that the call was "a step in the right direction."

Following a mysterious blast in Gaza late Friday, rival Fatah and Hamas began a verbal war and arrest campaign against each other in its own domain.

Hamas blamed Fatah movement behind the blast along the beach ofthe Gaza City which killed five Hamas members and a girl, but Fatah denied any involvement.

Hamas launched a crackdown against Abbas' Fatah supporters and organizations in Gaza, arresting up to 200 people and closing dozens of Fatah organizations, including a number of charities and associations not affiliated with Fatah.

In response, pro-Abbas forces increased detentions among Hamas members in the Fatah-controlled West Bank.

Hamas has been ruling the Gaza Strip since June last year when it routed Abbas' security forces following a week-long infighting with rival Fatah movement.

"Dialogue..."

An "inter-'Palestinian' dialogue..."

So do it. No one else is going to do it for you. Probably no one else even cares.

Didn't you get the memo?

This is code for: "Give us some money"

Best way to arrange dialogue among terrorists is to send them as far from you as possible. In that vane, time to expel the vermin.

and we're as happy as can be!"

What?? Trouble in paradise? Say it ain't so...

perhaps giving rifles to Fatah was not all that bad after all, its backfiring on Hammas! Rats cornered all act the same, vicious monsterous terrorists come out killing at their best.

Afghanistan and Iraq are un-winnable wars. An insurgency which can be replenished from porous neighboring borders can not be won. In order to win these wars, the core population must regularly expose those who support the insurgency or the army must engage in widespread war crimes. The Iraqis and Afghans are not courageous enough and the USA is sufficiently good enough to purposely engage in war crimes.

No, USA and its friends should pull out of these wars, repair their economies, then engage in a concerted and long term cold war against political Islam. As for protecting Israel, with a state of the art air force to gain air superiority, followed with old fashioned carpet bombing would keep any of these Middle Eastern Islamic states in line.

The biggest mistake GW Bush made was to engage in a way which supports the jihadist narrative. They want a war in which they can face their enemy. It feeds their zealous vanity. Don't give them what they want. Don't be afraid. Don't face them in battle. Let justice rain down from the sky until they submit. Consider how quiet the Libya president has been.

Islamic countries are far more unstable economically and in terms of infrastructure. They also have very young populations which increases their political instability. We are not the vulnerable nations, they are and I suspect their analysts know this. All they have that we don't have is lots of misguided young men who want to die for thier 72 virgins or play Muslim Rambo. A ground war plays into this strength. GW Bush should listen to the Generals who no doubt understand that in war you play your strength against the enemies weakness.

It is time we fought this war using Western strengths.

Murderous Kilkenny Cats, again.

I understand that the so-called Arab Revolt in the land of Israel, then known as 'Palestine', in the 1930s, which was supposedly launched in the name of local Arab Muslim independence from the British, and to crush the Zionist Jewish communities, rapidly devolved into no-holds-barred clan warfare in which the Al-Husseini clan set out to remove all possible competitors.

More local Arabs (mostly Muslims) died at the hands of their ever-lovin' Muslim brethren, than were killed either by the British, attempting to maintain order, or by the Jews who were acting in self-defence.
