Paranoid Fantasy Alert: he has also said that "the U.S. and India are directly involved in the terror attacks in Pakistan."
"Cleric: U.S. Cannot Break Up Pakistan On Jews’ Behest," from MEMRI, July 18 (thanks to Jeffrey Imm):
Qari Saeed ur Rehman, the head of the Red Mosque Action Committee, has said that the U.S. and India are directly involved in the terror attacks in Pakistan. The Urdu-language newspaper Roznama Jasarat quoted Qari Rehman as saying that the U.S. and India are working to break up Pakistan.According to the report, Qari Rehman said that Pakistan is Islam’s fort that cannot be broken up on Jews’ behest by the U.S. and its allies. He was addressing a function in a local madrassa in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Mufti Kifayatullah, a legislator and leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), said that as per a Pentagon plan, the people and the army are being made to fight against each other in Pakistan.

Ha ha ha ha...Well the chaos continues in Pakistan and the paranoid religion and it's minions. Gosh with all that aid and more coming soon from Joe Biden and the US congress they would be delighted to help the US and fight the Jihadis. But as always I stand by what I believe is that Pakistan was created to continue the Jihad set in motion a millennium and a half ago by their murderous leader Mohammed. Mohammedans will gladly take the Jizya coming and use that to continue to kidnap and rape and force infidel women into Islam. They will use that aid to arm and train Jihadis against US troops and western Muslims who want to infiltrate the US homeland and cause major destruction. Moreover, Pakistan is a prime country for Jihadis to get a hold of that ultimate Jihadi weapon the NUKE. Yes once they have that they want mass killings of Infidels and create a world wide Caliphate where all the infidels are humiliated and made to pay Jizya, infidel women are raped and forced into harems.
"U.S. cannot break up Pakistan at the Jews' behest...."
-- from one more completely predictable conspiracy-theorist among the world's Muslims, each crazier than the next
Last I looked, "Pakistan," land of the pure, consisting of two parts --- West Pakistan and East Pakistan -- did break up. But it was not because of any conspiracy, by Israel, by America, by perfidious India. No, it was all the doing of Pakistanis from West Pakistan lording it cruelly over Pakistanis from East Pakistan. And finally, those Pakistanis from East Pakistan, that is Muslim Bengalis, had had enough, and revolted against the Pakistan Army, which, as one might expect, engaged in mass murder of Bengalis in what had been, but would not be for very long, East Pakistan.
And among the most fervent local killers, local collaborators with the rampaging Pakistan army, and traitors to the cause of Bangladesh (as East Pakistan, once independent, came to be named) were those who, because of the fervency of their Islam, willingly believed the Pakistani government's line that "Pakistan" had to remain unified, one state, for the cause of Islam. This made no sense to most people in Bangladesh, but it did make sense to those called "razakars," who joined in the army's carnage.
For more on this, simply google "Jihad Watch" and "Posted by Hugh" and "Bangladesh."
No, if the state -- not a "failed" state because it never once succeeded -- of Pakistan breaks up, it will be because the zamindars and generals who alternate in power, and who both pander to, and encourage, suspicion and hatred of the Infidels (meaning mostly India and America, with Israel of course always thrown in for good measure) among the horrifyingly primitive masses (horrifyingly primitive, but not apparently for the British government to prevent the continued arrival, en masse, of many of those primitives to Great Britain, carrying Islam in their mental baggage), did not recognize what Islam does, were not, unlike Ataturk (whom Musharraf, whose father served in Turkey, claims to admire), capable of seeing what Islam does to a people, and a polity, making them more likely to remain in thrall to local lords of misrule, and kept back economically by inshallah-fatalism, and of course stunted, both intellectually and morally, by Islam, Islam, Islam.
No, if the Baluchis ever succeed in breaking off, if the Muhajirs (those who arrived from India), or others succeed in attaining what they want, at the expense of the state of Pakistan -- quondam West Pakistan -- it will not be because of Infidels, but because the chaos and confusion and utter mess of Pakistan is entirely a result of the ideology that reigns, and whose adherents always will outnumber those who, though born into it, wish they could somehow tame it, somehow shake themselves partly free from the Despotism of Islam.
"...as per a Pentagon plan, the people and the army are being made to fight against each other in Pakistan."
From the article.
Hugh, this would seem to suggest that the Pakis might just be reading your articles, and further, believe the Pentagon also reads them and has adopted your recommendations as policy. Well done!
The Jews want to break up Pakistan? I thought it was the Hindus who wanted that. My mistake.
This Muslim cleric's obsession with Jews is very, very revealing - and, for any decent person, sufficiently to place the speaker beyond the pale.
One must remember what shocked Andrew Bostom, in the writings of an Indian Sufi Muslim jurist, Sirhindi, d. 1624, and started him (Bostom) along the line of research that produced "The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism". Sirhindi wrote:
"Whenever a Jew is killed, it is for the benefit of Islam".
Ayaan Hirsi Ali, in her autobiography, 'Infidel', recalled that - during the period in which her family lived in Saudi Arabia - ANYTHING that went wrong at all, even a blocked toilet (!!), was blamed on 'the Jews'. (I can't give the page reference as I don't have the book on hand at the moment).
Moreover, in her interview with 'Reason' magazine, November 2007, Ayaan describes one of the Muslim Brotherhood revivalists, a 'sister Aziza', who visited the Muslim community while Ayaan was a teenager, in Kenya; noting that they, too, taught an unreasoning hatred of Jews:
"I wanted to be like her ['Sister Aziza']. And she talked about God and hell and heaven in a way I hadn’t heard before. My mother would only scream, “Pray, it’s time to pray!” without ever explaining why. Sister Aziza wasn’t doing that.
"But she did teach us to hate Jews. I must confess to a deep emotional hatred I felt for Jews as a 15-, 16-, 17-year-old living in Kenya.
"You almost can’t help it; you become part of something bigger. I think that’s how totalitarian movements function and that’s what’s wrong with them. You lose your faculty of reason. You’re told, “Don’t think for yourself. Just follow the leader.”
“Hate people.” OK. “Kill people.” OK, fine."
She was a Somali Muslim, living in Kenya - and she was being taught a violent anti-Semitism. Indeed, there is a powerful speech that she gave to the American Jewish Committee, in which she describes that mindset - Islamic hatred of Jews - in some detail; naming it as a state of darkness and ignorance from which she only slowly fought her way free.
Pakistani, Somali...both taught to hate Jews, by Islam.
And as for Pakistan: a year ago Hugh Fitzgerald shared with us all, here, a bon mot by a man called David McCutchion, that perfectly sums up Pakistan past and present. To wit:
"Fanaticism plus Machiavellianism plus brutality equals Islamic Pakistan."
For the pleasure of those new to this website I will now re-post the essay by Hugh, in which McCutchion's words appeared, because the full weight of those words is not felt until one knows what kind of a person David McCutchion was:
"I recently picked up at a book sale a copy of "The Miscellany," edited by P. Lal, and published in Calcutta. Issue #51 (June 1972), one of three devoted to the then recently-deceased, at age 41, of David McCutchion.
"An Englishman, David McCutchion was a lover of India, not of the william-dalrympish sort, that is the kind who loves the luxe of the Moghul court and its love intrigues, nor the kind of Englishman (also william-dalrympish) of the walking-across-half-a-continent-when-young sort, making use of local color of the human interest kind, often grizzled or wizened or wizenedly grizzled picturesque Muslims, to do the work for him (downmarket Byrons and Newbys, not to menton the now-unfashionable, because bookish, traveller Gide in "Le Retour du Tchad"), but a true scholar, an Indophile who studied brick temples in Bengal, and Indian writing, was a friend of Satyajit Ray and all sorts of interesting people in Calcutta who never get the attention in the West that all those anti-Western islamisant arundhati-roys manage to get.
" I read through The Miscellany #52 – and discovered a tribute from the Sanskrit (and Buddhism) scholar Richard Gombrich (son of E. H.), who opened his essay, titled “His Work Is Unrepeatable,” with this:
'The recent death of Mr. David McCutchion in Calcutta at the age of 41 is a catastrophe for oriental studies.”
'Gombrich describes McCutchion as a scholar who “devoted all his time, his money, and his exceptional energy and enthusiasm, to the study of arts and monuments which are fast disappearing.
' He tramped all over Bengal, both West and East, taking notes and photographs; his knowledge of the countryside was famous. A self-taught photographer, he spared no pains to take the perfect shot; and he leaves well over ten thousand colour slides and as many black and white photographs of high professional quality…..His greatest specialities were Bengali temple architecture and terra-cotta sculpture, the latter a lost skill of whose monuments little is known to the wider world; he also studied and collected Bengali scroll paintings. He explored many other parts of India too, and recorded even Gupta temples previously unknown.”
'And a little more, taken from a website:
“David McCutchion (1930-1972), English-born scholar, Indophile and early critic of Raja Rao, was an authentic pioneer: in his short lifetime...made a major contribution to the study of Bengali temples...one of the first scholars to write on the now much commented subject of Indian Writing in English....
'Born in Coventry, David attended that city's King Henry VIII Grammar School. He made it to Cambridge University the hard way, on intellectual merit alone. He read Modern Languages (French and German) at Jesus College.
'After graduating in 1953, he taught English for two years in southern France. He went to India in 1957.
'He worked there first as an English teacher...and later, as Professor and then Reader in Comparative Literature at Jadavpur University, Calcutta.... David's ground-breaking study of Bengali brick temples, The Temples of Bankura District, was published by Writers Workshop in 1972.”
" David McCutchion lived through the war made by West Pakistan (now Pakistan) on East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, in 1970-71, a war in which Muslim fanatics in East Pakistan, locally called razakars, joined forces with the raping and murdering army of West Pakistan, accepting the argument that what was good for Pakistan – that is, staying one country – was necessarily good for Islam, and what was good for Islam was all that mattered.
" Here is how, in a letter from England to a friend, McCutchion described the behavior of Pakistan:
“…We are raising funds {for those in what was then East Pakistan being murdered by the army of West Pakistan and its local, fervently Muslim East Pakistani collaborators], and hope to see the Minister of Overseas Development.
"What do I think of it all? Appalling…Pakistan should never have existed – it has cost more lives than the whole of the British Empire in 200 years.
"What should I think of a culture that burns down the British Council library in Lahore because an English publisher printed a picture of Mahomet?
"Fanaticism plus Machiavellianism plus brutality equals Islamic Pakistan.”
One More Time:
"What do I think of it all? Appalling...Pakistan should never have existed -- it has cost more lives than the whole of the British Empire in 200 years.
"What should I think of a culture that burns down the British Council library in Lahore because an English publisher printed a picture of Mahomet?
"Fanaticism plus Machiavellianism plus brutality equals Islamic Pakistan."
"Print out that last bit, and put it on your refrigerator, under the title: Pakistan.

As you can see, Hugh, I did copy it, and commit it to memory, and to a little file on my computer, that it might become one of Jihadwatch's Treasures Old and New.
