Much more needs to be done in terms of investigating and publishing historical research into Islamic ethnic cleansing techniques. Recently, there was a good op-ed in the Jerusalem Post about the 1948 expulsion of a million Jews from the Arab countries after the Arabs lost their war of extermination against Israel. This was a process openly encouraged by the Arab League. But beyond that example, how did the Muslims do such a thorough and fast job of getting rid of the Christian population of Turkey and elsewhere? We know about the dhimmi restrictions that wore away the Christians of Byzantium, but what are their stories in particular.
This shooting incident is fairly typical of the anti-Jewish attacks taking place with increasing frequency in Europe, and many Jews are emigrating. I also know that Lebanon has lost a good deal of its Christian population.
I guess this topic is not high up on the chic list at our dhimmi universities, but, they came for the Baptists and I was not a Baptist...you could be next.

If the two Israelis had been unarmed, how long would it have taken for a police officer to respond and how many more people would have been shot? I guess gun control in Israel means a tight grouping.

From the Muslim point of view, I imagine these atrocities were justified as another liberation struggle, but it was nothing but supremacism, ruthlessly applied.

All of this crazy talk about a "Palestinian State" is stupid. Israel needs only 4 borders to defend. Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Syria. She can not survive with multiple Islamic states within her borders. Declare the whole area of Israel under Israeli law. There is no such thing as a "West Bank", or a "Gaza Strip" only Israel. If you don't like it you and your family will be escorted to the nearest border and dropped off, and left to be the responsibility of the state and the greater Muslim world at large where you were left. The Islamic world is after all where "Palestinians" want to live. Period end of story. What do they have to loose?

Time to remind ourselves that nowhere in Muslim-controlled lands were dhimmis - non-Muslims living under Muslim mafia-style 'protection' - EVER permitted to own or use weapons, or to defend themselves in any way, at all, ever, either verbally or physically, against any kind of attack by Muslims.

Now let's return to 2008.

These Israeli Jews in Jerusalem, this Friday night, were not dhimmis; they were carrying weapons. When shot at, they shot back.

Israel is hated by Muslims because Muslims want to bring back the good old days of 1700, when Muslims could stamp on the faces of Jews and Christians, sneer at them, hit them, shove them to the side of the road, rob them, even kill them, with absolute impunity.

Muslims who want to be able to fulfil that delicious dream of total nazi-style arrogance and cruelty indulged to the hilt against defenceless people, run slap up against the unpleasant fact that Israel is still full of uppity Jews who refuse to cower and grovel; who have claimed the right to bear arms and to defend themselves and their property.

Israel's leaders, many of them, have become somewhat dhimmified of late - but Israel still has the IDF, it still has its weapons, it just has to find the courage to use them against an enemy whose insane and murderous contempt for the Other is as awful as was that of the Nazis.

Unless you're an ammunition salesman, arming the citizens and welcoming hordes of armed Muslims into your country is not the answer.

The solution is not to turn the kufirs' homelands into Wild West shootem-up galleries. The solution is not to set up spy agencies to spy on kufirs in the kufirs' homelands. The solution is not to create huge police forces who can respond to jihad attacks anywhere in the country on a moment's notice.
