Jihad against Buddhist teenagers on a school bus

Three students were wounded, but actually the jihadists were more likely to have been targeting the paramilitary rangers -- although they have targeted teachers and fired on at least one school bus in the past, suggesting that the school bus was not a completely random target. PATTANI, Thailand — Suspected Islamic insurgents opened fire on a school bus in Thailand's restive south on Monday, killing two paramilitary rangers and wounding three teenage students, police said.
The bus was taking 10 students — aged from 13 to 18 — home from a school in Pattani province's Nong Chik district when an unknown number of assailants opened fire from a hiding place on the roadside, said police Maj. Gen. Kririn Inn-kaew.

Two paramilitary rangers who were providing security for the students were shot and fell from the bus, Kririn said. He said the assailants continued to fire at the rangers, killing them and then taking their guns. [...]

Sad to see non-Arab groups killing their cousins who retained their culture, not having had ancestors who were forced to convert to wanna-be-Arab second-class Mohammad worshipers who might get to wash Saudi feet as guest workers if they are lucky, since Islam leave them with nothing, unless they happen to have oil.

They've also went on sprees of burning down schools. That was when this jihad went into full swing back in 2004 I think it was. But they don't like Muslim kids learning to be proud of being Thais and they don't like the secular teachings either. (just to think what it would be like if we exerienced this here, in the US)

People talk about Arab hegemony over other Muslims. It seems Asian Muslims have learned jihad quite well and any sympathy for non-Arab Muslims seems misplaced. Any and all will use Islam for their own purposes.

Islam and tribalism prop each other up.

Italy: Proposed fines for Muslims sparks controversy
Milan, 7 July (AKI) - The President of the northern Italian city of Milan, Filippo Penati, has triggered widespread debate with a controversial proposal to fine Muslims who pray on the streets outside the city's mosque.
According to authorities, the number of people praying on the sidewalk creates traffic and obstacles for pedestrians in the area surrounding the Viale Jenner mosque, a converted garage.

"Article 190 of the law regarding the obstruction of streets should be applied immediately," said Penati.

"I do not know or understand why the law has not been applied before," he said.

"The municipality of Milan should apply the law and fine transgressors, not to limit their freedom of worship, which should be guaranteed for all, but prayer carried out on the sidewalk is forbidden by the laws of our country."

The Viale Jenner mosque, or cultural Islamic centre, can only hold 4,000 faithful. Those who cannot fit inside bring their Islamic prayer mat and lay it on the street outside the mosque and close to passing cars.

Talks are underway to move the prayer hall to the larger 'Vigorelli' stadium and cycle track.
